underweight

Question Posted Thursday July 6 2006, 11:17 pm

I really want to gain weight, but the right way.
I don't want to sit all day and eat cheeseburgers to gain weight. And I wanna gain 15 pounds by august 26th. Any thing I can eat that is good for me that I could gain weight off of. Or any like things i could do.
♥

well instead of eating only 2 or 3 times a day eat 5 or 6 times. make your meals larger (not too much larger) eat dessert and go out to dinner like 2 times a week if possible. for lunch eat high calories like hot dogs or bologna. for dinner eat steak or burgers or pasta. those arent bad for you but overtime they will help you gain the weight.

there is one thing that is good to do and also healthy..

eat more calories then you can lose

for instance make your meals biggger then usual.(dont over do this)

eat 5-6 days(recommend by doctors) and just eat more of it. hope this helps.

Easy, Work out to build muscle. Don't feel bad if you are not able to gain a lot because for some people it is harder to gain weight than others, but jus gain some extra muscle, but if you are a girl than try to get muscle all around the body instead of having bulging bisceps

Stick to high protein, low (saturated) fat foods like tuna fish (and other seafood), chicken breast, turkey, lean meats, rice, pasta, fruits and vegetables. PASTA IS A MUST FOR WEIGHT GAIN!
Start eating 500 calories MORE then you normally do. So, lets pretend that the day you counted calories you counted 2000. For the rest of the week, you would now eat 2500 calories a day.

At the end of that week, weigh yourself. You'll notice you're gaining just after one week! Now, don't expect to see a 10lb increase. Gaining anymore then 1 or 2 pounds a week is unhealthy and means you're putting on way to much fat. So look for 1 or 2 pound gains at the end of the week.
