heyy i'm andrea i was born in New York and i've lived there all my life. and yes i am very short but proud:-P i love singing acting and swimming, the sport of my life. i also like listening to music...rap, pop, rock, r&b, and country or whatever is on the radio. my friends and my family are the most important poeple to me and i love them soso much especially my younger sister Ashley(this was orginally her advice column but she gave it to me shes such a sweetie!)
i always try to give good advice and im usually very honest, which doesnt help my rating but thats ok lol;-) usually im very out going and loveable, unless im in a bad mood...but ask me whatever you want and ill try and answer it as best as i can i lovve getting stuff in my inbox:-) love ya's ♥

How do you naturally just "ask" someone out ot to hmcming?

pretty much what xokiss said... just say it conversationally like "who are going with to homecoming," if he saiz no one then,"do you wanna go with me?"

It works better then writing a note or randomly asking him if he wants to go with you because you can avoid embaressment if hes already going with someone. And its very casual and light and will be the least uncomfortable.

Well I'm a freshman in highschool & the first day it started, I had my eye on this one boy, he was new. Well not new, but from a different school.. and I had a crush on him..
Finally at the end of the day I forced myself to say something to him.. and we ended up having stuff in common, and the next week I went to his house and we hung out, and went to the park. I learned so much about him, but the thing is..
I'm not sure if he likes me, because alot of girls are always around him, hes not popular or whatever, he's very self consious he says. Some of the things he said were like "I think it so cute how you switch subjects, when were talking! :)" and i he kinda flirted with me.. but I'm not sure, and when hes in a crowd in the hallway he says hi tome. i like him alot, but i dont want to do anything, and get rejected.. what do i do?

Ask a friend to ask him who he likes. If he likes you, excellent, if he doesnt screw him and move on there are more fish in the sea. If he was flirting with you but he didnt like you, he doesnt deserve you anwayz:-)

okay...i'm very depressed. And a guy didnt even break up with me or sumthing. i just dont have a bf right now...and i really like this guy at school...we flirt ALOT..but i still have a feeling he doesnt like me...and ever since i've been really depressed...(plus, homecoming dance is coming up..that doesnt help)

Hey, you never know if he likes you until you ask him out. go ahead you have nothing to lose. Or just ask a friend to ask him who he likes. If he doesnt like you back screw him and move on there are plentty of fish in the sea:-) One guy is not worth being miserable over because there is so much more to life!

ok i was just wondering what the girls in like survivor and the amazing race do when they get their period. Cause there's not bathrooms round where they can change thier tampons and or pads and you should onoy have a tampon in for no more than 8 hours so like what do they do!?

Survivor isnt all it seems to be. They probably have facilities somewhere where the cameras dont go.

Well me and my boyfriend have been dating for a little over a month now...but one problem...he lives in Texas and i live in New York.I made sure that I got to know him before I went into anything with him.He's soo sweet...and hes constantly saying he loves me and that he's saying that he wants to fly up to visit me.Im 13 and hes 15.Most of my friends are fine with it...except for my BEST friend...shes always telling me that we dont really love eachother, and were only with eachother for the heck of it...how do I get her to except him?

If you love the guy, then why are you letting your friend interfer! And how would she know if you dont really love him! its your life, your choice. Now i dont think your friend will change her mind untill she actually meets him. maybe she is saying that stuff because she is worried he may not be the guy he is telling you he is, ya know? so you should just tell her you know you love him and you are 100% positive that you do. Remember friends are forever and boys arent, so you should value your friends opinions. If you starts nagging you about it listen politly then change the subject:-)

hey this is kinda embarassing but im 18 and im a virgin! most girls my age have lost there virginitys at age 14! i feel so lonley and left out! so i lie and say im not! its not that i cant find someone its just that im so picky! i want it to be special and want to be in love! wat should i do? should i lose it with some guy i dont know? or wait for the special one? and is this wiered? i really need some advice! i lie to so many ppl and i feel bad! i want to be honest with my friends but im to embarassed!

It think its better to just tell the truth. You may not be the only one not a virgin, other poeple could be lying too. And being a virgin is nothing to be ashamed of... your safe from stds and pregnancy and stuff.
You should wait until the right guy comes to you, which WILL happen. If you don't wait you might end up doing something you regret.And plus 18 is still very young. Now if your 30 and your still a virgin then there might be an issue:-)

There is a very very low chance of that happening. Like around 5% or maybe even lower. And if you did get stuck usually its very easy to get unstuck. i wouldnt worry about it:-)

ok well this is for the guys... is there a certain hair color that you prefer on girls? like do u tend to go for blondes...brunettes... red heads... please give me your opinion because i'm thinking of dying my hair and i'm not sure on what color but i want to see what guys like first. thanks! *i rate*

They did a study and it turns out most guys go for long-haired brunettes...but my guy friends say they go for any hair color as long as it looks good on the person. Personally i think you should keep your hair color and just get highlights, guys usually like natural girls. *hope it helped*

i can't seem to find a deoderant that keeps me dry enough i know this is disgusting but can anyone help me???

Theres this thing called "certian dri" you put it on at night and it shrinks your pores so you dont sweat much. you should also use "ban" deoderant it works great:-)

I like american eagle favorite v-neck tee's. The only problem is, now that school is back in session, they're a little low for school. I trie wearing one of the those spagetti-strap tops, but it added extra bulkage and made me look fat (im not ruler thin). What do I wear under this that won't add extra bulk, but will add some coverage?

Maybe like a sports bra that has a straight cut on top? thats what i do:-)

There's this one guy that I like. The problem is that he has a girlfriend. One of my friends told him today that she thought me and him would make a cute couple. He said 'sweet.' Then she asked him if he would ever go out with me and he said 'probably.' And so asks if he likes me and he said 'not really but as a friend I do.' Then 'But it's kinda hard to like someone else when you have a g/f.' And to me it seems like he doesn't even like his current g/f, even though they've only been dating like 4? days. And it's a long distance relationship. I even give him a hug when I seem him at school. And he hugs me back. And I'm right there and his g/fs not. So I was just wondering what you guys thought about this? And if you think he likes me?

It sounds like he likes you but he is afraid to because of his girlfriend. You should just just wait for them to break up, it sounds like it will be very soon. Trying to make them break up will only cause problems. So if you be his friend for now and flirt a little, he'll realize he wants to be with you, not his current g/f then ask you out.

yeah you look wayy better when you drink a lot of water. but if you drink too much some water gets into your lungs or something its rare but definatly not good. but you'll know when your drinking too much water, you'll start feeling kind of sick.

Im having trouble with my homework. I have to make a graph with a "break symbol" & I have no clue what that is. I searched through my math text book for a definition or example & I couldnt find one!

a break symbol symbol comes after the 0 in a graph. it symbolizes a space between the 0 and another number. it looks like a "z" tilted up. so for example, you would put a 0, then on the line above it the break symbol, then a 40,50,60 etc.

it could be the beginning of your period or if you've just become a non-virgin. i dont think it has anything to do with being pregnant, but i would take a test just in case. if none of these are the reason, you should see a doctor.

tuesday i turn 15. and i have lived with my mom since i was born. her and my dad got a divorce when i was realy little. i go to my dads every other weekend. my dad hasnt really been the kind of dad he is suppost to be. but i still love him. Well my dad lives in newnan and i love it down there all my friends are there and i have so much fun down there. My mom lives 2 hours away in lawenceville and i hate it here. We moved here a couple months ago and i have been in this new high school for 1 month now. I have no friends, everyone is stuck up and annoying there. I want to move in with my dad. Not because i love him more, but because i like it better there. my mom is always complaining that we dont have any money and i spend too much. Well i love her verrrrry much but if i tell her i want to live with my dad, she will get very upset adn like cry and all. What are some good ways i can tell her without her getting so upset? any help is wanted.

you should tell her in person something like, "mom i think it would be more convienent for me to live with dad because my friends are down there and i would do better in school. i know it'll be hard for us but i think that's whats best for me." tell her how you dont like the school here and that its affecting your grades(well i dont know if it does but saying that may prevent her from taking it personally). i dont think its a good idea to mention the money problem.
sure, she might get a little sensative, but when she does tell her you love her and youll call her everyday and visit her as much as possible, like every weekend and on holidays. your mother should want you to be happy.

well im a girl but i've learned a lot from my guy friends. usually they...
-> tease you, take your stuff, flirt a lot
-> some guys will do the opposite and try and avoid you
-> they stare at you
-> they show off when around you
-> they smile a lot at you

if your guy friends are sending you mixed messages, the best thing you can do is just ask them who they like! if they stutter and say no one, its probably you! or have your other friends ask them. good luck!

anyways we think of e/o as bff and all, but some days, idk she seems kind of ticked. like i say something and she doesnt really respond and i'll ask her whats wrong and she will freak out.
Say we are sitting in math(our first clas togeter) and we both dont say anything. then i say something like 'wow the day is going by fast' or 'did you hear about mr. jo's pop quiz?' and she wont respond, she just sits there. then i ask her whats wrong and she goes: NOTHING! I Am Just Tired! in a real annoyed voice.

maybe like...hormones or something must be effecting her lol...well i get pretty crabby sometimes to my friends too.

when she starts acting like that its either because she really is tired and in a bad mood or jus wants attention. either way, when she starts acting like that, you should just ignore her. wait for her to be in a better mood or when she talks to you first. if shes like this constantly, you could just stop being friends with her. she will realize what a brat she's been and hopefully apologize. if she doesnt, then i guess shes not worth being friends with anyway.

basically anything that comes to mind! like ask him what music he likes, what sports he plays or watches, how many brothers or sisters or something interesting on the news lol. or compliment his shirt and ask him where he got it or something like that. its amazing how just one quistion or comment can lead to a whole conversation. so if you say anyhting that comes to mind ill bet youll be fine:-)
