I have dark brown hair, and I want it to be lighter without dying it....because its damaging

Are there any hair products that could make my hair lighter?? (Creme, shampoo, etc)

Well I know when it starts getting sunnier and warmer outside, your hair will usually get lighter. Also swimming in a pool with chlorine will usually bleach your hair. I just got my hair dyed with only a few blonde highlights and it looks really good. It won't be too damaging to just get highlights and not use a lot of product in your hair. You could ask a hair stylist what they think you should do about lightening up your hair.

Well, a lot of my friends in real life are the type of people that take a picture of everything and stick it on their MySpaces. So obviously they take a lot of their friends.

And in every pic I'm either smiling or poking my tongue out and that gets quite boring after a while. What are some cool/funny/entertaining camera poses I can do?

The peace sign is classic, or the Victoria's Secret pose, which is like putting your pinky nail a little in your mouth. You can blow kisses too, which usually looks cute =]

Ok you guys might think I'm crazy but...
I have a huge crush on zac efron. Yes the celebrity. He's so hott. Its like I can't control myself. I have so many posters of him. I find myself thinking a lot about him. Like I even have dreams about him. And no I'm not crazy. I have a boyfriend and sometimes I wish I was kissing zac. Its crazy right?. What's wrong with me. Also, you know that new video vanessa hudgens has with zac efron called say ok. I got really jelous. I just want to meet him so badly. What should I do?. Do you think vanessa and zac will go out or like eachother?. I can't stop thinking about him. Its like if I've meet him before. I don't know. help please.
Also, is there anyway I can meet him? And do you know any good acting agencies around newyork like queens or manhattan. Thanks in advance.

Okay..yeah, maybe you're not crazy, but you're really obsessed. I don't think it's healthy to be so obsessed with a guy who is a celebrity, who you don't even know. And I read in a magazine that Zac and Vanessa are a couple. It's okay to think he's hot and want to meet him, but the guy you need to want to be with is your boyfriend. It's not fair to him that you're thinking about someone else when you're with him.

Okay, i'm like soooo in love with the guy who lives next door to me. Last summer we talked sum and we told each other that we liked each other, but now, we don't talk at all. And, i still like him....ALOT!!! How do i get him to talk to me again???

Maybe he's lost interest..you should make the first move and try talking to him again. If he seems distant, then don't push it. If you try talking to him a few times and he doesn't act like he cares, then just let it go. At least he'll know you're still interested in him, and then if he wants to speak to you again, he will.

I think it means he can be comfortable around you enough to touch you, and know you won't mind =] It sounds like he likes you with how much you two hug and flirt. I'd probably ask him out since you are already friends with him.

How can you tell if someone is being a good friend? and what does exacly "being there for them" means?

Being there for someone is like always being able to help them when they need help. You're always there to talk to them if they need someone to talk to their feelings about, and you're just a really nice person to them. You'd never talk about them behind their backs badly to other people, and you're always truthful with them. You can also be yourself, and not need to feel fake or uncomfortable around them.

I think you should drop a few hints that you like him. Smile at him if he looks at you, and just be nice. Don't over-do it though, in case he doesn't have the same feelings back. If flirting with him here and there makes him talk to you more, and he starts to show interest, just keep talking to him. See what happens after that. If he doesn't flirt back when you flirt with him, or answers really simply to your questions, then he probably isn't interested.

ok i am a teenager and i really need help! so i just got my period and there is one problem...when i tried to put in a tampon>>>i couldn't find the hole it goes in :-*( please dont laugh at me...it is extremely embarassing and i dont know what to do... i know it is there though HELP.

If you just got your period for the first time, I wouldn't suggest using tampons. You could get Toxic Shock Syndrome if you leave it in too long, and could possibly die. I think you should start with pads for now. Don't be scared though, most girls can't find their 'hole' when they start using them. Ask your mom or sister (if you have either) to help you if you really need to use a tampon.

A while ago (Nov 25th '06 to be exact...)I was at my sisters house. Shes 19, Im 14, and her boyfriend is 24. She decided that it would be super fun to get me drunk and it sounded like fun so i went along with it. And then her b/fs friend came over (call him John...) and he was nice and all. And then later when him and her bf were outside, she told me that 'John' wanted to make out with me...John was 20 years old...I was like...ew no hes old..but my sister insisted that it wasnt weird. So then later My sister and her bf went to sleep and it was just me and John...and i layed down on the couch and he was laying next to me and he asked "would it be wierd if i kissed you?" and i was like "yeah...i dont know" and he said "let me help you make up ur mind..." and he started kissing me and we started making out (im still drunk btw) and it got pretty intense and it realized how wierd it was (id never kissed, let alone made out, with anyone before...) so i got up and left. and ever since its been branded into my brain and im just haunted by it. BUT ANYWAY. Ever since, Ive been having dreams that i have older boyfriends and ive been attracted to older (18, 19, 20 y/o) guys and im just not sure what to do.

I want to forget whaat happened but i also want an older guy..is that wierd/???

Wow, that sounds like a messed up situation. That's totally illegal, but I bet you already knew that. I don't blame you for liking older guys though, most girls do. I thinky you should stay away from guys that are 18+, because it would be illegal if someone were to find out. It's okay to be with a guy around 16 though, who is still older but not old enough for it to be wrong. Just try to forget about what happend with you and that older guy, or talk to someone about it (that you can trust) if you're having problems dealing with it.

I had to deal with this for awhile, so I started using Dove deodorant. I love the way it smells and I never sweat after putting it on. If using deodorant doesn't work you should probably talk to a doctor about it.

So, i decided to ask my boyfriend of 5 months if he likes any one else. Well, at first he kinda wasnt answering me straight and then he went to get a drink at the water fountation and then hes like not really i was like its a yes or no question and he got another drink and i was like hello! answer me hes like i told you yes. When he kept saying not really. and so he told me and stuff. And i said something like why dont you go out with her then and hes like well because shes dating somebody and i was like what?? thats your only reason?? and hes like no and because shes half black and stuff but you would think he'd be like well no because i love you and stuff butt NO.

I would have broken up with him right when he said he liked another girl. He sounds like he's starting to lose interest in you, since he JUST started acting like this. I really think you should break up with him, since it's not fair to you.

there's this guy i really like and have been pretty good friends with for more then a year... anyway, we hooked up this one time... and sence then we haven't really hung out outside of school. so because it's spring breack i asked him if he wanted to hang out, he said yes, deffinitly but then the day came for us to hang out and he canceled... but then i said we should get together the ext day instead, he said yes... but the next day came, i drove to his house and he came out and told me that he couldn't hang out again... so my question is, do you think he's avoiding me... or do you think he's just no good at keeping his word?

Sorry, but I think he's trying to mess with your head. I wouldn't call this avoiding, since he's still talking to you, but I think he's trying to hurt you. It seems like hooking up with him was a one time thing, and now he doesn't want to hang out with you because he doesn't care. Don't talk to him for awhile, and see what happens.

Well I straighten my hair everyday because its really curly. But a few hours later it starts to curve inward. I see all these girls at my school with PIN straight hair and it lasts all day. Does anybody know how to keep my hair pinstraight all day.

My hair is really thick and curly too, and I straighten it. My hair used to get really frizzy and start to get wavy, so I started using this gel after I would straighten my hair.

If she is already bulimic, then there isn't much you can do to convince her. You have to get her help, and talk to her parents, even if it's hard. Eating disorders shouldn't be taken lightly. She needs a counselor, and all you can do is support her and be a good friend to help her stop.

Cause the basic trend is dieting your butt off and you rarely see 'fatties' getting bf//gfs.

I really think that guys do look at girl's personalities along with their looks, and just because SOME overweight people don't have boyfriends, doesn't mean you won't get one either. There will be someone who finds you attractive, even if you don't think you are. I see a lot of girls that are overweight with really hot boyfriends. It really just depends on your personality and how you treat him. If you treat him well, he will appreciate you.

okay i am super shy. i am almost sixteen and i cant seem to get a boyfriend for nothing. i just dont really know how to approch a guy. like not neccessarily a guy i know but how do i approch a guy if i am like out of state and just want to hook up and hang out. like what is a good line to start with if you are just meeting someone. help would be great.

It's not a bad thing to be shy, don't worry about that. When you meet someone new, give them a big smile (guys love nice bright smiles) and introduce yourself. Say random things to start conversations, and make them laugh. I say the word 'sexy' a lot (weird right?) but it makes people laugh and makes them comfortable. Talk about things you have interest in, and if you feel like you've said something dumb, don't think about it. People don't really care if you mess up, and if they find it funny for a second, they'll forget about it later. Just be yourself.

Drinking a lot of water helps your stomach to feel full when you're trying to lose weight. So instead of having an unhealthy snack when you're not really THAT hungry, people drink water to help them feel full without the calories. It also cleanses your body =]

No, I don't think that's bad. There are a lot of good things about being tall. People find tall girls/women really unique, that's why so many models are around that height. I heard guys love tall girls, because of their long legs and usually thin bodies. Being your height, you'll always be remembered =]
