my best friend, hes amazing, loud, hiper, HOTT (!), and depressed. and i cant help but have feelings for him, i mean im a horney girl (lol). but i miss him, he was admitted to the phsc ward in a hospitale. and i havent talked to him in 3 days. and i need to talk to him sooooo badly. but like he knows my number, and i know that there is a pay phone there. but i know he has like really bad depression and i know he gets embarrassed easily, and i know he likes me. and he dosent know i know hes in there. but his mom told me (and his mom told him to call me). and i know he has feelings for me. do you think hes embarrassed? what do you think i should do?

It seems like he thinks that you'll think less of him if you know that he's in the hospital. But since he hasn't called yet, and his mom told him to call you, you should just wait for him to take his own sweet time and when he's ready, he'll call you (that is, if he wants to.) You might be tempted to call HIM, if you are able to, but that will just make matters worse because he might be embarressed about the fact that you know he's in the hospital. So just let him call you on his own, and take things slow for now considering you can't communicate so well with him right now.

So everytime i like a guy, and they start to like me, i stop liking them like the second after, and i have no idea why, it makes me mad, and i feel horrible about the boy. I don't have commitment problems, and i know i'm actually a pretty good girlfriend, i just, don't know what to do. And its not because i'm immature or not ready, i've had serious ralationships before. Am i afraid of being hurt, ugh, i don't even know.

You could be afraid of getting hurt, and also of being "let-down" (if you know what I mean.) You probably realize that when a guy starts to like you back, you find some imperfection or something to use against them in some way, and then you start to back away. When you were in serious relationships, I'm sure you were able to see past those imperfections, and this is just what you should do -- only when you find a guy who you don't run away from. And don't go out looking for him, let him come to you (as corny as that sounds,) because in the end you will be happier.

Hey, I'm a 14/f. I'm about 5'10-5'11 and i weigh 170 lbs. I would like to lose 25 pounds any time before the summer, and get flatter abs. I've been a little overweight all my life, everyone said it's just baby fat and it'll go away sooner or later and i just need it to gooo away already. my cousin lost 50 lbs in 6 months and she's been kinda gaining a few lbs back again and then losing them again -- how can i avoid this? i excersize A LOT, but i eat a lot too. please help! i'm very determined to lose weight, but usually my determination is to lose weight to look good and get the guy i like, but the thing is i get over guys quickly and begin eating again. is there another thing i can set my mind on and lock it? like should i keep telling myself how good i'll look in the summer in every bikini? please help!

You should set your mind to a personal goal, something that you personally would really like to accomplish. A good body in a bikini is a good one, because it can keep your mind set on losing weight for a while because we still have quite a bit of time until the summer starts. In fact, if that is something you would like to accomplish, then go for it! It is a perfect goal to set your mind in. Just stay determined, keep your head up, and smile. :)

ok. so i bought black leggings to wear with my jean skirt. but i just dont know what to wear with them.

right now i have 2 choices.

dark jean skirt
dark grey long sleeve shirt w/ white and greyish flowers on it

okay well ima virgin and i missed my period and im kinda freaked out bout it am i pregnant? i had the flu during the time i was supposed to get it. do you think that thats y i missed?

I mean, if you're a virgin, then you 100% are not pregnant. It's completely normal to miss a period, and your flu might have been a factor in why you missed it, or it had nothing to do with it. But don't worry, you're fine.

I went to watch some bands play tonight - and I made the mistake of attending the after party.

It ended up being between 15-20 people in one side of this duplex. When we originally decided to go, no one had alcohol and it was getting too late to buy anything. However, when I got there they had a few mostly empty bottles, but they were nearly empty from before. I don't think a single person there got drunk.

There was a noise complaint~

The police showed up, someone answered the door - then slammed it in the officers face. The person then proceeded to lock the doors, turn all the lights off, close the curtains and get everyone upstairs.

A 15 year old girl had to leave due to curfew, and since neither she or I drank, I decided to walk her out and see what the cop situation was outside. The police came up to us and the three officers asked us a few questions. They asked if we had been drinking in there - we said "no", they asked if we had been smoking pot in there - we said "no", they asked who owned the house, we gave them as much of an answer as we could - since they were already running the address trying to find the owner.

Then they asked how many people were in there, we said we didn't know most of the people in there, and we hadn't been there long. But we thought 7 or 8 people were still in there.

They ran the plates of all the cars parked outside, and they claimed to have seen a person holding a beer while they were looking through the windows. They took our word for it that we didn't drink, and they let us go without a breathalizer or a search. They just ran our ID's.

The cops eventually got inside of the house by contacting the owner of the house and getting permission to enter.

After that semi-long story, we get to the question:

Since kids were drinking inside (some/all of which were minors by a year or two.) but I wasn't. I left and gave the police all the compliance they asked for. Since i'm 18, and I was there - even though I didn't drink at all - Is there anything the police can do to me at this point?

I agree with rainbow cherrie. There's probably nothing that they will do to you. After all, they only wanted the information that they asked you about, and you did your part and answered them honestly. And kudos on not drinking! Relax, you did the right thing :]

i really like this kid who is in my eight grade classes, nearly all of them. He sits next to me & we are like constantly laughing all day. hes really nice to me...should i tell him i like him?& how?? im not real good at this stuff. im 13/f if that helps. okk, please try to help.

If you think he'd be into it, then go for it! the worst that can happen is he'd say he didn't like you back, but if you guys are flirting nonstop than that is highly unlikley. Smile & be confident because that's what guys love. :)

You definitely should not even think about peircing your own belly button. It could get infected and that would be so bad that you might have to see a doctor.. I would recommend going to a Piercing Pagoda and a parent's signature. Good luck! :)

what are some symptoms of depression? the way i eat, sleep & think has changed.. i hardly get any sleep, eat a lot & dont want to really ever do anything outside of the house.. there might be an ocasion where i try & get myself happy & it works & i do go places but other than that no.

Consider the fact whether or not you actually think you're depressed. It sounds to me like you're tired, and sad because you have nothing to do. Then again, it totally depends on how you are and what you see of yourself. Smile because that's the first step to raising your self esteem if you actually are depressed ! :D

I bought a silver Motorola Razr V3 last December. I lost it a week ago, and my mom is really mad. However, she said that I have to have a phone, so I'm going to have to pay for a new one. This isn't a problem because I have enough money for it, but what I'm worried about is my address book in the phone. It has 90+ numbers in it, and there's no way I can replace them all. There are also pictures in my phone, but those aren't as important to me. They are all stored on the SIM card. Is there a way to send the contacts to my new phone (same phone number, same plan, same everything, different phone) without having the actual phone? There's still a chance of me finding the phone sometime so I can retrieve that stuff from the SIM card, but I was wondering if I can get the contacts transferred from my old phone without actually having possession of the phone. Thanks.
