Hey, I'm a 14/f. I'm about 5'10-5'11 and i weigh 170 lbs. I would like to lose 25 pounds any time before the summer, and get flatter abs. I've been a little overweight all my life, everyone said it's just baby fat and it'll go away sooner or later and i just need it to gooo away already. my cousin lost 50 lbs in 6 months and she's been kinda gaining a few lbs back again and then losing them again -- how can i avoid this? i excersize A LOT, but i eat a lot too. please help! i'm very determined to lose weight, but usually my determination is to lose weight to look good and get the guy i like, but the thing is i get over guys quickly and begin eating again. is there another thing i can set my mind on and lock it? like should i keep telling myself how good i'll look in the summer in every bikini? please help!

Maybe because you want to look better in a bikini, or find cuter dresses for your dances, have your clothes fit better, be healthier. Stuff like that to keep you going and to help you stick to this. Since you eat a lot, you need to eat smaller porportions of food and have it every few hours. Replace the cookies & chips with healthier stuff. If you do want to have some cookies, have 2 or 3, not too many though. Since you exercise a lot, your fat will turn into muscle & that can also cause the weight gain. It's totally normal. The number of your weight might go up, but if you give it time you will see your body get toned down & change. Just be patient with it and keep motivated & you'll do fine. Just think if you lose weight, you will be very healthy and lean and you will feel so much better! Dont do it for guys, do it for you. And if it really motivates you to do it for guys, dont do it for guys you like. Do it for all the guys you'll see this summer at the beach! :]
Okay, heres how to lose weight in a healthy way:
Cut out all of the sugary and fatty foods in your diet. Basically all the junk food. I did this and that alone, helped me tremendously! I lost about 3 pounds in a few days, along with excercise. You said you excercise a lot, but you eat a lot too. Well, its best to balance it out. Eating too much is not good and excercising too much is not good. So, try to find a plan that works for you! Try eating a lot of fruits and vegetables of course. And eat 6 small meals a day, instead of 3. Also, for excercise for abs:
THE BICYCLE:
1. Lie face up on the floor and lace your fingers behind your head.
2. Bring the knees in towards the chest and lift the shoulder blades off the ground without pulling on the neck.
3. Straight the left leg out to about a 45-degree angle while simultaneously turning the upper body to the right, bringing the left elbow towards the right knee.
4. Switch sides, bringing the right elbow towards the left knee.
5. Continue alternating sides in a 'pedaling' motion for 12-16 reps.
CAPTAINS CHAIR
1. Stand on chair and grip handholds to stabilize your upper body.
2. Press your back against the pad and contract the abs to raise the legs and lift knees towards your chest.
3. Don't arch the back and remember to breathe smoothly.
4. Slowly lower back down and repeat for 12-16 reps.
THE PLANK
1. Lie face down on mat resting on the forearms, palms flat on the floor.
2. Push off the floor, raising up onto toes and resting on the elbows.
3. Keep your back flat, in a straight line from head to heels.
4. Tilt your pelvis and contract your abdominals to prevent your rear end from sticking up in the air.
5. Hold for 20 to 60 seconds, lower and repeat for 3-5 reps.
