okay... well everytime i get a boyfriend... i cant date them for along time....and when i actually started dating this guy i really liked... i just felt soo weird.... [[becuase
1. hes like wayyy shorter than me... so tht makes me feel sorta like watched....]] oh and also... right after he kissed me.. i started feeling different.... i felt like i didnt like him that much at all...
so we broke up... and ten when he flirts with my friends i get toaally jelous...
so yeah... any advice why i only do "hook-ups" and not "relartionships" ?

I used to be just like that. I'd like a guy, then once I actually had him, I didn't want him anymore. I just realized that I didn't want a commitment. I decided to just have fun. It was a good choice. Enjoy being single, and stop looking for a boyfriend. When you find someone really special, you'll know it, and you'll know that it's time for a relationship. Until then, just have fun =)
depending on your face shape does the color of makeup you wear affect how you look? that was kindof confusing but i cant think of how to word it?
example: would a square face shape be ok with blue eyeshadow?
or does it not matter?
Face shape doesn't affect how color looks on you. It's your hair color, eye color and skin tone that you should look at to figure out what colors to wear.

I have no idea what kind of books you're into, so sorry if I'm waaaay off on your taste =)
But...
I like anything by Sarah Dessen. She writes wonderful books for teenage girls. This Lullaby and The Truth About Forever are my two favorites.
I also like anything by Augusten Burroughs. He writes funny books, but they are definitely R rated and written for adults. Running With Scissors was good, but I liked Magical Thinking better.
You might be into the Gossip Girl series. Or perhaps The It Girl, Private, The A List, or The Clique. All series that I have read. Good books, kind of trashy and shallow, written for teenagers, but entertaining.
Also, White Oleander is an amazing book. It's more of a serious book, not directed at younger readers, but still really good.
If you like books about more serious issues, you could try Go Ask Alice, Crank, Second Star to the Right, or Cut. Go Ask Alice and Crank are about drug use, Second Star to the Right is about eating disorders, and Cut is about cutting, obviously.
And, if you haven't read it, I highly suggest you read To Kill a Mockingbird. I read it in 8th grade for the first time, and it really did change my life. I love it so much, and even though most books you have to read for school are a drag, this one is really really good.

Browns and Greens with gold highlights are great for green eyes. Dark purples, coppers, golds and plums work well too. Metallics are great too.
Avoid blues and silvers.
For eyeliner, instead of going with black, opt for a steely grey or chocolate brown. If your eyes are small, try white or gold to open them up.

Ok is it wrong to go out with a 17 year old guy if you are 14? even if you really know him because he is a friend of the family.
A lot of times older guys go for young girls because they are vulnerable and naive. Just make sure he has good intentions. Otherwise, no it's not wrong.
Okay, so i like this boy. He's a sweetheart. He's 17, going on 18 and leaving for college at the end of august. i'm 15 so it's hard to hope or look forward to anything. he said he liked me back, and he also told a trusty friend that he wasnt sure what would happen between him and I. He's not the type to use a girl.. and i'm not just saying that because i like him, it's seriously true. he's had one girlfriend ever, which was during his senior year. it's not like this is a full on question... i just need some opinions.
Don't go for him. You two are at different stages in your lives. You don't want a boyfriend that's off in college, trust me. I've seen too many of my friends go through it. Odds are, it won't work out. So save yourself the heartache and find someone that's not going to leave in a couple months. With your lives being so different, the relationship will eventually fall apart. Long distance relationships, at your age, are not worth it.

No, this doesn't make you a slut. However, he might think you're easy, so maybe don't give in right away next time. Also, I wouldn't make a habit of this behavior. Word will get around, and you will earn yourself a negative reputation.
okay, so i'm 15/f and my bf is 17.

but he told me something about a promise ring and i do want one...but do you think it's too young? i mean we are waiting till our 20's to get engaged and married and it sounds a little far fetched, but we really feel like we are that close...

Honestly, yes, I do think you are too young. Not only are you too young, but I think it's too soon. I understand that you two are in love, I don't doubt it. However, you don't want to have such a heavy commitment at such a young age. You have the rest of your lives to make these promises. Since you two aren't going to break up anytime soon, what is the rush to get these rings? Just wait it out. I really wouldn't even think about getting one before I've been dating someone a year. At the very least.
And no, promise rings don't always hold the meaning you intend them to have. Sometimes one wears a promise ring to symbolize that they are waiting for marriage to have sex. A lot of religious people I know have promise rings. The idea behind it is that they won't have sex until the ring is replaced by a wedding ring.
And you can wear it on any finger on either hand. Its traditional to wear it on your ring finger, usually of your left hand, but these days, a lot of people wear them on their right hand ring finger that way others don't confuse the rings for engagement rings.

You didn't specify where the cuts are, so I'm going to assume they are on your wrists. Wear long sleves. Or wear something on your wrists, such as bracelets, hair ties, wristbands, or a watch.
I really urge you to tell your parents. If you really want to get better, their support will be very helpful. Please, at least consider it. Good luck, and Congrats on getting help.

I've always heard that the left side is most common. Mine's on my left. But it doesn't mean anything, so go for which ever side you want.
Here's my advice: Do you part your hair to the side? If so, pierce the opposite side. Like, if your hair goes to the right (Part on the left side of your head), pierce the left. That way it'll be a balance =)

That's really nice of you. Put the link in your myspace and AIM profiles. Ask your friends to do the same. Tell everyone you know about it, and ask that they add it. Also, try putting up a little section in the rememberance profile asking people that have already added it to help spread the word. That way a lot of people will be helping you out with it.

Once you're in college, you will make rules for yourself, especially if you're no longer living with her. If you get to the point now where you want to make a boy your boyfriend, ask your mom if maybe she can meet him and get to know him that way she will be more comfortable with the situation. Respect her opinion, but find comfort in the fact that she won't run your life forever. I don't know how old you are, but maybe when you get a little older, she will ease up. Chances are she will. Just wait it out, and don't worry about it until it actually happens.
