Genrawks2 answered Sunday July 8 2007, 8:23 am: Naw, it doesn't matter.
Just like everyone says, age is just a number =)
But still, it's odd in teenage years.
When youre older, you dont see much difference in 30 and 33 but there's difference between 10 and13, and difference between 14 and 17. You two are on different mental, emotional, and phsyical levels, unless you're mature for your age. Then again, most boys never even mature until their 20's.
bitterxsweet answered Sunday July 8 2007, 1:18 am: i think its perfectly fine. i dated an 18 yr old or two last year when i was 15. i think thats not a bad difference, but 4 or more yrs older can get a little iffy. ANYWAY esp. if hes a family friend that always makes it easier =] good luck! [ bitterxsweet's advice column | Ask bitterxsweet A Question ]
soilikethisboy answered Saturday July 7 2007, 10:03 pm: To me it seems a little strange but my brother went out with a 13 year old when he was 16 so its not all that weird. But then again She was very mature for her age and he was imature for his age so I suppose it all depends. [ soilikethisboy's advice column | Ask soilikethisboy A Question ]

A Good Idea? Probably not.
Three years is a long time when you are a teen.
Imagine dating an eleven year old. There may not be as much physical difference between a fourteen year old and a seventeen year old then a fourteen year old and an eleven year old, but there are just as many mental and emotional differences.
