I have curly hair a little below my shoulders and I really want it to be straight. With the straightener I have right now it takes me about two hours to straighten my hair after I shower, so it's starting to prevent my from showering as much. What kinds of good cermanic hair straighteners/products are there? I did some research on an Oblivie Hair Straightening System, does anyone know anything about that?

Well, you could get it done in a salon, but that might be really expensive.

Wear can you get those girl pants that are like plaid and they aren't quit capris are they are boy short length.

Look into your mirror and take some time to notice all of your good points. Whenever you feel a little less confident, remember all of these points.

about a year and a half ago i did something so stupid. i cut a strand of hair in front of my head thinking it was no big deal because i just wanted it gone. then i realized it would grow back. so i shaved it but then i let it grow for awhile..then i couldnt take it and tweezed it.. that lasted for awhile but then recently i couldnt stand the random baby hairs i had in the front of my head from tweezing it so i shaved them off. you think i wouldve learned after one time..but no. so now im stuck shaving this area of stubble in the front of my head 2 times a day..which gives me razor burn and since its on my head it looks like acne. i just dont know what to do anymore. any suggestions of how to undo this mess?

Stop shaving them! It'll get really irritating letting them grow out, but when they're long enough, spray them down with Pantene Pro-V. That stuff works really good.

So i just put on a temporary tatoo, and i love it but i hate how they come off like right away.

try henna. you have to draw the design on by yourself, but it lasts a long time if you do it right. you can buy it at and asian-ish store. follow the intructions on the box.

and wash the stuff off with coconut oil to make it really dark. if you have no idea what i am talking about now, you'll figure it out when you read the intructions.

so i'll start by telling you a bit about myself.

i am 15 f. i don't want to sound arrogant but yes, i am popular which is why i don't get what is going on. I am vasrity cheerleader as a sophmore and have no trouble w/ guys and have alot of girl friends. so this is my question...

i got into a figth with this girl and it got bad, but girls are catty. she tried to ruin my reputation, but i ruined her life =] i got her kicked off of class vice president and her friends hate her. but to be fair, she really deserved it im not kidding. she posted pictures of me that were like edited and crap to make it look like i was naked, like photocopying my head onto the pic or w/e. and posted it on alot of the lockers. idk why she did it, shes just jealous b/c im dating her ex bf. seems to me like SHES the sociopath not me...

so after this i got in trouble, the school sent me to a therapist to talk about why i act the way i do. he diagnosed me a sociopath. But um... sociopaths are psycho anti-socials and im the center of attention. Im not a freak, i love shopping and guys and they say just b/c im a little decieving and like it my way, makes me a sociopath???

can somebody please explain to me how a popular varsity cheerleader can be a sociopath because i am way not antisocial.

Okay. Well I have alot of guys that like me. I like a few of them, some more then others. This has always happened to me. Always. Guys like me, I like them, nothing happens. honey, you're not gonna get anywhere if you keep distancing yourself. nobody wants to get hurt because of a guy, but you have to take chances. if you find someone who you really like, make it clear to them that you like them! you should flirt with them, and make plans with them a lot, until they get the picture. and hopefully, if they're smart enough, they'll ask you out.

Seriously. You HAVE to go tell someone. You can't just sit there and not do anything! Tell a counselor, tell her parents, tell YOUR parents, tell anybody who can help! Sitting around worrying isn't going to get anything done! But here's the thing... if she's HAPPY about killing herself, she might change her mind when if actually comes to it. I can understand if she was depressed, she might just do it without regret. But not if she's happy.

Remember to give her a heeeuuuuge hug and explain to her how much she means to you. Explain to her that a lot of people love her and will miss her a lot. Remind her that she'd be ruining a lot of people's live!

I want to get my cartilage pierced. How old do you have to be? And does it matter how old you are if you have your parents permission? And does it hurt more then just getting your first hole in your ear pierced? What does the pain feel like?

it only hurts for a little while. the actual piercing doesn't hurt at all, but it might sting a little when you brush up against the earring or sleep on it for a few weeks after that.

My school's choir is doing a cabaret show and I have a solo in the song "Popular" from the play Wicked. I can sing the solo very well but I have a problem with singing infront of my class. I can sing infront of other people just not infront of the class. I need to practice with everyone so I can get it down perfectly. So, my question is... How do I get rid of my nerves or atleast be able to sing without a shakey voice? I try to tell myself they will judge me no matter how I sound but it doesn't seem to help.

try singing in front of a mirror right before you sing for your class, and when you're up in front of them, close your eyes. it helps.

i got my cartilage peirced on saturday and it was fun that day and sunday but monday it started swelling up and its been five days and its red and swollen is that normal? when i clean my piercing it doesnt hurt and when i rotate the stud it doesnt hurt at all but the redness and the swelligness makes me feel weird. can you tellme what i can do?

okay, i can relate. my cartilage piercing got infected, and it doesn't hurt a lot, but it can look gross. don't get super-freaked out. just keep putting neosporin on the part where the earring touches your sking (front and back). keep applying it about 3 times a day for a few weeks, and it will start to get (and look) a whole lot better.
