advice

I just got spacers in, and I'm getting braces next week, and my orthodontist told me I might not be able to eat solid foods for a while. Does anyone have any suggestions other than milkshakes/smoothies, mashed potatoes, and pudding?

i can relate to you A LOT.
on august 15th i just got my braces on.
the first dya i ate panera broccoli and cheddar soup, pudding packs (for like luches) applesauce (for lunches too).
cereal is good, it might have to be soggy.
i noticed that it is easier to chew with my back molars.
by the next night, if i cut normal food into smallsmallsmalllll pieces..i could eat anything..including chicken!

although i did not have a lot of pain, soon we WILL have straight teeth =)

before you go to get your braces on, swallow some tylenol, and put on LOTS of blistex.

I like this guy named Kevin, and i have for a while.
i have liked other guys, and had a boyfriend, but always had a crush on this guy.
We are pretty good friends, and we are coworkers
one day while working, i was like "hey, kevin, did you know i used to like you?"
and i said that because i didnt relize until a few days later i actually still liked him, its kinda a long story...
anyway, his jaw like, dropped, and i ended up asking him if he ever liked me, and after a really long and confusing answer, he was like "yeah, i did, it happened, its done" or soemthing like that.

So, i ended up telling him a few days later i still liked him, and he was like "okay" cause i kinda told him in this note i wrote him lol.

i was talking to him online, and i asked him what he liked about me before
he said " i dont know really, a lot of things, your looks were one of the things i'm sure...and the fact i can talk to you and it not be akward at all...that and a lot of other things"
so i said "okay, so what happened? my looks went bad and you cant talk to me"
and he said "no, i just cant trust you"

a few months ago, we made out, andi told a few friends, someone over heard, told a bunch of people, and too many people found out.
and someone told him i said he was a terrible kisser, plus,i have a fear of making out with guys with braces because i cut my tounge on this guys ones...

so thats what he means by he cant trust me...he says i critizes him too much because he still thinks i said he was bad, and because of the braces thing.

so, i flirt with him a lot, and he flirts back, and yet he says he doesnt like me anymore because of the trust thing...

then today, i was flirting with a lifegaurd at work (we allwork at the pool) and he got really pissed off
he was like "this is what i mean by the trust thing"
and i was like "you made it clear you dont like me, why do you care?"
and he said"because, if you really liked me, you wouldnt do that"

there was a lot more, and much more back story, but here is the question:
should i just try and gain his trust back somehow, and not flirt with anyother guys, and just focus on Kevin?
or should i tell him that since he says he doesnt like me, i dont want to be pressed on him all summer if there is no chance?

as for your actual question, it all depends. you need to figure out which is more important to you, kevin, or any other guy (like the lifegaurd).

if you do decide you like kevin a lot, totally focus on him. hang around him, forget other guys, and flirt MAJOR. he'll realize you put aside every guy just for him, and will trust you again. it may take some time, but its practically a sure in. i bet he does like you, i mean after all you did make out. but he's just worried. he wont be soon though!

however, if you do decide you want some freedom of whats left of summer, flirt with twice as many guys. kevin will move on, and most likely be jealous.
i wish i could tell you what to do exactly. but. i cant. its all up to you!

ok so todays my moms birthday and i kind of forgot to wish her happy birthday and she knows i know it is and she went out for a run with the ipod i share with her
she came back about 10 minutes mad because i forgot to charge the ipod and the battery was dead
shes still out now and i dont know really what to do
she wanted one of those mom key chains
me and my brother went out looking for them but could never find any so i just made her 2 keychains out of lanyard
before i woke up i really did know it was her birthday but she started the day off yelling at me for some reason so it kind of left my mind and i know shes really upset

im 13/f
whenever i go out in the sun and its like too hot or i run a lot or when i like get embarrassed my face starts turnin red its not becuz of sunburn and when i go inside and turn on the cooler my face turns normal again. Can u guys tell me what i can do so my face wont turn red like a cherry?



my friend has the exacttt same thing happen to her, except she also ends up getting sunburned!

the reason why you guys naturally turn red at the poool is because of the humidity. its just your faces way of reacting to being hot. so, a good way to prevent this is always bring a water bottle. if you keep yourself hydrated, the redness will either not occur at all, or just happen a little bit.

Well I'm going to Las Vegas for about 6 days. I'm leaving tomorrow and coming back on friday. I have no clue how much to pack. How many shirts, pants, shorts, socks? It's just something I'm not good at. So if you have any ideas on how much and anything else that I should probably bring that I'll probably forget lol. Thank you everyone!



(3) sets of pajamas
(4) short sleeved shrirts
(4) long sleeved shirts (you never know the weather!)
(3) pairs of pants
(4) pairs of shorts (always bring extra !)
(1) dressy outfit, just incase you go out to dinner or something
(9) pairs of socks, cause mine always get dirty
lots of underwear/bras (bras if this is a girl)
and of course, (1) cosmetics case filled with tooth brush, hair ties, brush, deoderant, shampoo/conditioner/soap, make-up (if you need it), etc.

if i have been discharging for a couple months and still havent had my first period yet, is that normal? people say that discharging a lot means that your period will come soon, but it's been months and i've still been discharging like, daily. is that normal?

Recently, this guy who went to my school last year but didn`t go to it this year, started talking to me again. We both liked eachother last year. We weren`t mad at eachother, we just lost touch. I REALLY enjoyed talking to him again, and he came over on friday. He flirted and all, and that night i was talking to him and he said that after talking and seeing me again he liked me. But he left for the beach yesterday and said he would call me today, and he did. He seemed like tired or not talkative or something. It really confused me, but he did say he would call me tomorrow. yeah. lots of guys think talking on the phone is girly. like, they will run out of things to say in the first 2 seconds. don't be offended. does he have a screename? lots of guys open up more on AIM. bring up subjects he can relate to tomorrow. like ; the beach (especially if he surfs or something), or what other things he loves.

i gotta motorola verizon. it NEVER scratches on the pink part. only on the gray part, which never shows (if that makes no since ask me again. sorry!)

I was at one of my brother's football games and was working in the snack stand for my community service hours. The guy I like...who happends to be on my brother's team kept coming back and bought seriously like 20 sodas. tomorrow i am gunna babysit my two little cousins. i always babysit, no problem but usually 1 and older... the younngest was just born in jan-february and im not really nervous but i just want to know what im basically gunna have to do. will i have to hold her the whole time or.. i dont know im usually nervous when it comes to really young babies.



OK. My sister just had a baby boy in early May and I have babysat him a couple of times. There are a few essential items you need the parents to give you before they leave;
bib.
formula/bottle.
pacifier.
You might have to bounce him/her until they fall asleep. If you don't already know this, this is probably how the day will go for the younger one. They will cry, you will feed them, you need to burp them until they burp or spit up, Theywill get bored, you entertain them/talk to them, they'll fall asleep in your arms, you CAREFULLY put them down in their crib/place to sleep. If they start to wake up whenever you put them down, put a light blanket on them, and rub their backs. Don't ask why. I have no idea, but it works.

what age can kids start to babysit other kids?



I wouldn't say there's an exact age ;; because there's some pretty immature 15 year olds. It all depends how trustworthy you are. Most believe around 12 or 13, but i started around 10 or 11.
