I'm afraid that once you have stretch marks, there is no magic way of getting rid of them. The skin has stretched beyond what it was capable of and the marks are the result. The good news is that stretch marks will fade. Sorry, but once you have them, you are stuck with them. To make them fade faster you could try using Cocoa butter. Apply cocoa butter cream on affected stretch mark areas in the morning, after showers, and at night. You'll be gaping at the results within' a few months. You could buy cocoa butter at most local pharmacies or even at bath and body works.

I'm going to the USA in September of this year. Yes, I know that's quite a while away but this is going to be a busy year for me as I'm starting college. Anyway, I found some good air tickets on Qantas for $1100 and I have a week to nab them. I have the money and all.. I'm just curious. Should I wait until further on in the year? Or get the tickets now? For my own peace of mind I'd like some confirmation of when I'm going and that I'm definitley going, but I'm worried a better deal will come up.

I personally would get the tickets now only because that's one last thing for you to worry about. I mean you have the money saved up already; you are going 100%, the price is pretty good then what's stopping you?! Please don't tell me it's because of the risk of finding a better deal later on! You cant live your life waiting for a better buy to come along, if you do that then you'll never get anywhere in life. Let's say you don't buy the tickets now and all the prices go up then what?! You'll have to pay a lot more then you could have in the first place. You got nothing to lose. I say go buy the tickets and worry about what you really need to concentrate on.

It's safe to use hydrogen peroxide anytime. Some people even use hydrogen peroxide as a home remedy to whiten their teeth. If you could put it in your mouth then trust me it's safe to use on your infection. when i got my belly button pierced they told me to use hydrogen peroxide in order for my belly NOT to get infected. I suggest you do use hydrogen peroxide, and you should also betadine.

I actually saw both, the movie and the opera.
I got the chance to meet the actor who was playing Erik in the show and i asked him that exact same question. He said they use special kind of glue that keeps the mask on for hours. I'm pretty sure they do the same in the movie.

My friend is a crybaby. I'm sorry if I'm being harsh, or freakishly blunt, but come on. The girl is thirteen years old, and she burst into tears when these two kids in my class wanted to see her yearbook. ALSO, she takes everything WAY too seriously. Every time anyone tries to offer helpful criticism, she gets all mad and starts talking shit about you to other people.

Most of the time people tend to close their eyes on the faults in people and open up their eyes on the good qualities. If you wanted to be her friend, you would have never even questioned your friendship. Obviously you do not conceder this girl your "real friend"! Why continue this relationship if you are unhappy!? i am really pale. i'm 15 and i can't drive yet, so i can't drive myself over to the tanning places, and my mom never wants me to tan. i've tried the mystic tan stuff before but it looks too orange on me. is there any kind of products that will make me look like i have a natural tan and that actually work?

Honestly all the products I have used pretty much sucked, and I bought some of the best self tanners out there. You could try Jergens Natural Glow, it was pretty good at first but then the color started to fade every time I used it. But it's worth a try. I personally only go tanning because it's the only thing that works for me. If your mom won't drive you, can't you take a bus?! Maybe ask one of your friends to take you, or convince one of your friends to go tanning with you, that way you'll have company and a ride.

There's this talent show coming up and I want to sing in it. I've been singing for a long time in a choir and I've been very well-trained, but one thing is that I'm worried about. I don't know whether I have a good voice. When I listen to myself singing I think I sound good, but I recorded myself on a tape recorder (mind you, not the professional kind). It sounded too horrific to describe in words. And I know it's not because I'm not trained/have no vocal technique/straining/no breath control and/or not breathing correctly/no support/whatever, because I am none of those things. It's just the sound of my voice. I heard that tape recorders don't record accurately and everyone things they sound bad on a recorder, but I'm still worried that I have a bad voice. At the talent show, it would be very embarassing if everyone thought I had a terrible voice and no one has the gut to tell me, so I need to know before this happens. Is there any other way I can find out what I really sound like without expensive professional tools? I don't want to go to my friend and say "Let me sing for you and tell me if I'm good or not" because I can never know whether my friend is being honest or just doesn't want to hurt my feelings. Any ideas? Sorry this was long, but I need help.

If you enjoy singing why care what others think. You say you were at choir, then why not ask your teacher for her honest opinion. She won't lie to you that's for sure. Don't worry, sing for all your friends, Not all of them will lie to you just to be nice, thats if you don't sing well. Ask as many people as you can, and if you see that most of the people like your voice then your good to go. Here's another idea. Instead of singing alone make it into a group thing. That way even if you are scared that your not good enough it wont matter, you'll have back up. No matter what you do if your hearts into it, you'll be great. Just keep your head up high and smile your way through it!

Well there's no real reason for you to be worried so relax! You could either have your mother write your teacher a note, have your mother call the teacher, or have your mother see your teacher in person. If you rather not do this then buy some tampons and use them without letting your mother find out. What she doesn't know won't hurt her, and after all it is YOUR BODY, not hers. It's completely up to you and ONLY you. You are 15 years old, and that's old enough to use tampons.
Since you don't know how to use them, why don't you ask somebody at school. I'm sure some of your friends use them. If anything you can comment my inbox if you do decide to use them and i'll be more then happy to help you. If you don't feel like lying to your mother, maybe you should have a long talk with her about why you think you should be able to wear tampons. For school, we had to read the book "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee and I really didn't like it. Not to sound shallow or immature or anything, but the whole racism theme was rather dull (not saying that racism is dull, but I mean that it's dull to read about when you could be reading other things. If you want to read about racism, go take a History class and learn about it from a text book), and the background setting of a dusty little town in Alabama and the boring, nosy, gossipy people without lives was not appealing. It's not exciting to read about. And Scout wasn't a realistic person. I mean, what 7-year-old uses words like "morphodite"? Take Les Miserables, it's about redemption and is very dramatic and exciting---a renounced thief on the run.I am the only person in the whole grade who didn't like TKAM. Whenever I talk to anyone about it they always go "OMFG I LOVED IT HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE TKAM?!" Now, we have to write an essay about whether we liked it, and saying that it was not appealing and Scout is not realistic is not tangeable. She'll say it's off-topic and has nothing to do with the meaning of the book. I understand the meaning of the book, but I still don't like it. I talked to my dad and he just said that I'm not mature enough for such advanced literature, which is not true. What am I supposed to do?!

I read that book too, last year and let me tell you something, I HATED IT! I found it to be boring, and even though it did have a great meaning to it, it was formed in such a dull way! I couldn't stand it. Also just because you didn't like the book, doesn't mean you are not mature enough for such advanced literature. I have no idea why your father said that. About the essay well your teacher wants you to write YOUR opinion, and an opinion can NEVER be wrong. Don't worry about it. Write in that essay exactly how you felt about the book. If anyone says anything to you, be like ummm excuse me it's my opinion and if you don't like it too BAD! Phantom of the Opera is ONE OF THE BEST shows/books i ever read, and saw. I don't understand why you are feeling guilty about this. It's perfectly normal. Actually I would say it wouldn't be normal if you didn't. Everybody on this planet no matter what age, or sex thinks about sex, and a lot of people please themselves as you are doing. There is no harm in doing it. If you feel embarrassed then, there's no need to, because it's a personal/ private thing. Nobody else needs to know about it. But if it's really bothering you that much then try your best to control yourself. For example every time you feel like fingering yourself go get some gum or and food and chew on it instead. design a short play. Make several characters trapped in one room, setting, car, anything. describe what happens. form a good plot, strong characters, and enjoyable story. this project is extra credit.

what if several people that live in the same building for many years but never said one word to each other, got stuck in the elevator. All of them, have different life styles, religions, and cultures, (I'll leave that part up to you, its best if you pick them yourself.) They have no choice but to start talking to one another, and learn so much from each other.
