A deleted file is easily retrievable until it is overwritten with other data. Disk Investigator ([Link](Mouse over link to see full location)) would be able to show you the name of the file - even if you've deleted it and emptied the recycle bin - and recover it until it has been overwritten.

To overwrite the file (and all other deleted files which may be retrievable), download Eraser from [Link](Mouse over link to see full location). Install it and open 'my computer'. Right-click on the drive which had the file on it, and select 'erase unused space'. Click 'options', select 'pseudorandom data', click 'ok', and click 'yes'. It will proceed to overwrite the unused space on the drive, including the movie. No, this won't erase any files which haven't been deleted.

Eraser can be used to overwrite files that haven't been deleted, which saves you from having to overwrite all unused space every time you want to get rid of something. To do this, right click on the file or folder and select 'erase'. It's good practice to use it on any file you don't want people to see.

haha great song by the way, but dont worry about it. if you pressed delete and emptied the recycle bin (hopefully you did) then you have nothing to worry about

even if the parentals see it, just tell them what happened..im sure they wont mind

if that program keeps hasseling you, try Morpheus.com and download that.

The easiest way to do that is simply (unless you have other things you wish to hide) to tell your parents "Hey look, I was trying to download a music video and it turned out it was a pornographic video. I deleted it, but I thought I'd just let you know so if it didn't delete and you guys found it somewhere, then you'd know where it came from."

Seriously, if you have a good relationship with your parents, that should work just fine.

If you don't... Listen to other people's explanations on how to REALLY get rid of that stuff.

ok there's a few things you should do.

1- go through alllll the folders. every single folder you have haha =) juss to be extra careful. if you deleted it out though & that pop up came up "are you sure you want to send items to the recycle bin" & you clicked yes you should be fine.
2- go to the recycle bin. make sure everything sent there is deleted.

you can't really do anything else about it. as long as it's deleted from the recycle bin then you should be okay. you might want to run a virus scan juss to make sure there wasn't any viruses er anything like that. if something does happen & they find it which is unlikely, then juss explain that to them. if its in your recycle bin & you delete it yourself, then its most likely deleted.

-hope that helped!♥

Hey

Eshh porno you say?! I actually have limewire and my guy friends always download porn on my computer. If you deleted it then don't worry about it. Just make sure you also deleted it from your recyle bin.
If anything just explain the situation to your parents. Trust me they'll understand.
