well im not quite sure what jobs you could get at 14 but you could babysit or do chores around the house or you could try checking at stores like ask one of the workers that work there what age they hire at it depends on where you live most stores hire at 16.

Well my family is a family with 5 kids. We are running sort of low on money. How couild I help them out. I mean my mom could nopt even buy shampoo the other day!

try looking in the newspaper for jobs they usually have some jobs available or if you can't find any in the newspaper you could ask around where you live if anybody would like anything done aronud there house and they will probably pay you your only possibly is to get a job that way you could get the money to help your family with there money problems.

This may be an odd question, but I'll ask anyway, I was hangin out with friends and I was running through the house and hit my arm on the banister, now I have a huge bruise that has gone from purplish to greenish, to many other colors.
But my question is, is there any way to make the bruise not hurt that much, or to make it go away faster, because it's on the upper part of my arm but right near my elbow, so whenever I bend my arm it kind of hurts, so any suggestions? Or is there nothing I can do?

try putting ice on it wrap the ice in a towel or rag and put it on your arm where it hurts that should cool it down but don't leave it on too long or your arm will start to get numb try to rest it and try not to bend it it is just a bruise it may hurt for a few days and then it will get better it's normal for it to change colors and the best thing you could do right now is put ice on it and try not to move it around so much.
i broke my toe twice and it changed colors.

i have stage frite! when im singing w/ my music teacher or around my friends or for an audition for a play by myself, i barely sing! im so nervous! but when im by myself singing or singing to my cds, i think i sound pretty good! i mean i must be since i keep getting nominated for things like all county, nyssma, select choir, etc. im just SO nervous! how can i get over this REALLY annoying feeling? thanks in advance!

ps-i have another audition for a musical auguest 1st

well for one thing your not alone i have the same problem i get nervous when im in front of people what i do is i just grab all the courage that is inside of me and be brave and do my best and if my best wasn't good enough then i try not to get nervous when your on stage or whatever look at something elese in the room but just make sure it looks like you are looking at the auidence.

My bro is in iraq and its hard to deal with cause one of his friends was killed and the other one shot last week. how should i deal with it?

just think your brother is doing something good for our country just like the rest of the soliders down in iraq they all are protecting our country from any danger and keeping you and the rest of the world safe try not to think about him being down in iraq so much do some fun things to keep your mind off it~ like hang out with your friends,play outside,read books you could write your feelings out on paper that way all the anger you have inside you goes onto the paper that way nobody elese hears it or sees it but you.

im a 14/f, almost 15, and im around 5'4 or 5'5 and about 135 pounds, but im muscular. how many shots would be safe to drink? i drink for fun, but i want to be sure i dont get blood alcohol poisioning. what would the safe amount to drink be?

i would say two or three drinks you don't want to go over board and then cause health problems even if you don't get blood alcohol poisioning no more drinks then two or three.

well i don't know quite off hand what jobs hire 16 year olds you should try looking in the local newspaper or around supermarkets and stores or you could ask your family they should know what jobs hire 16 year olds or ask other people you think that would know.

I'm kinda scared of shots, and tomorrow i have to go to the doctor to get a physical and i have to get a tetnis shot. im freaking out. do u have any tricks to help me relax or to numb the pain? i need some advice asap b/c the appointment's tomorrow morning. thx!

yes i have had one before you just feel a little pinch nothing to worry about try not to look at the needle so much try looking at other things in the room such as pictures posters also you could listen to your favorite song and it will get stuck in your head then you will be humming it while you are getting the shot or just think of something good in your head until it is over they aren't bad either your arm will be sore for a few days but nothing to get stressed out about perfectly normal everybody gets them once a month or whenever. signed, the sun that brightens up your day~ sunshine 1232

well i never got bullied before but i would tell a teacher or an adult because it is bad if it is interfering with your grades i would say to them leave me alone but don't fight them because fighting is never the answer and there are other ways to solve your problems then if that doesn't work then i would suggest you tell a teacher before it gets worst then it already is just walk away they are probably jealous or tell your parents they could straighten it out by going to the school and talking to the princpal or another teacher. sunshine1232 hope everything works out good.
