I just started dating this guy like a week and a half ago, and his birthday is right around Christmas. We've been friends since the start of the school year, but I don't know if I'm supposed to get him a present...? We are only 14, and not very serious yet. Any advice? Do I need to get him something, and if so, what are some ideas? Thanks. (link)

If you plan on getting him a present get something small or else he will worry and think he has to get you something huge. Some ideas I got for my boyfriend is a gift card to EB games, Or you could go and get something like chocolate or candy, it really depends on your boyfriends personality. Good luck, hope this helped :)

Hi, I'm 14 and recently started dating one of my really good male friends. I really like him, and want to stay with him for a while. But I have had a crush on another guy who I've talked to like four times the whole year, and it didn't subside when this guy asked me out...but I had a crush on him too. What I'm saying is, is it ok for me to have a crush on someone else while I'm dating someone I like as well, as long as I don't make a move on this crush? I barely talk to this crush and there is no action between us, but I can't help liking him as well as my boyfriend. Is this okay? (link)
| |
Absolutly! I have the same problem. Dont worry about it, as long as you dont mess it up like I did saying I wanted to kiss my crush instead of my boyfriend to my crushes face, thts a big no-no. Just make sure you liek your boyfriend always more or else things could go wrongg, good luck and I really hope this helped :)

OKay well I am in 7th grade (Middle School) and ALL of my friends have boyfriends and i don't and I feel really left out. I am taller than most of my friends and some of the guys but My friend who is a little bit taller than me, still manages to get all the guys she wants. (link)
| |
Dont try to get a bf just because all your friends have one, there is always some guy out there who secretly will have a crush on you and height should not be a problem. I am taller than my boyfriend by a bit and it doesnt really matter. Hope this helped :)

Omg so yesterday I was combing my bangs bc they were getting alittle out of place, i accidentally started twirling my comb in my bangs and it got caught. I managed to get most of my bangs out of the comb but some of it (fair chunk) was still stuck. I twisted it all sorta of directions but nothing worked. Suddenly, the comb broke free and i thought i was fine. I looked down at the comb and it had the hair in it. It had ripped out a big chunk of hair and it is my bangs and i have short bangs tht are side bangs. I had just got my hair cut earlier that day and now I have a peice of my scalf showing and I dont know how to hide it. Please help me, school starts in 2 days :( (link)

Try tying it back into a clip, i have had the same thing, in the exact same spot. Good luck and i feel your pain :)

Ok so you know how every unpopular girl envies the popular people?well, I'm one of those envy people and I'm getting tired of just standing off to the side, watching the popular kids walk by like "hey i just got home from a French photoshoot" or something. So here are my bad sides:acne, bags under eyes, dark circles around eyes (i look like a racoon), and i have scars all over my body. :( so yeah... if you are a nice popular person, please help me! (link)
| |
I know how you feel, I once too was one of the people who envied popular people. Do not think of us popular crowd as snobs, or spoiled. It has nothing to do with that. I have some tips for you though, for acne you can use a different cleanser and maybe start using proactiv. Bags under the eyes are simple to get rid of st simply buy some concealer that matches your skin tone and it should come in something that looks like a lip gloss container and you take the wand thing and dab it under your eyes. It should erase the bags. Dark circles you can use the same thing and make sure you blend the concealer to give a natural look. The scars I cant really help you but heres another tip. Get a massage, facial, mani and pedi. They will help alot. Another thing is if you arent very tan in the face, you might want to buy some bronzer. It is a goldish colour and what you do is take a blush brush and spread it around your face. Get a makeover and feel beautiful, they will teach you how to do your make up properly. Good luck and follow the steps :)

I have a boyfriend, but I'm starting to have doubts on him.he might not be the right guy for me. A: he's not popular. B: sadly he smells. C: he's started to call me his girlfriend i don't really care about that part... so anyway, should i break up with him? (link)
| |
DO what you feel right, if you still kinda like him then tell him to get good friends and have a shower. He obviously likes you if he is calling you his girlfriend and if you choose to break up with him, then you need to do so gently. hope this helped :)

How to tell her over the phone that i have feelings for her,but im shy to visit her how do i get over my shyness and stuttering, (link)
| |
Telling a girl over the phone that you have strong feelings for her may be alittle hard, if you are shy or nervous dont be it will only get easier with time :) Plus talking to someone over the phone may lead to awkward pauses. I would suggest talking to her in person but if you would like to talk to her on the phone thats okay too. You must tell her with understanding, these things are always hard, you must express yourself though, good luck :)

Hey there(: i was just wondering how you tell if it is the real celebrity on Twitter or not? Like I know they have the little blue check mark, but there are two celebrities on my Twitter that don't have a check mark, but I htink they're the real ones one if you wan tto see for yourself is C. Thomas Howell, his picture is him with glasses like behind a bright light, and S.E. Hinton and it is a picture of her with her horse. They both seem like the real ones but i'm not for sure like for the C. Thomas Howell only becuase he like answers back to everyone who asks him questions but heck I don't know, but do you think they can be the real celebrities even if they don't have they blue check mark? Thanks(: :P

Hello,
You can't really tell if they are real without the verification tick. There are 3 basic checks that may help:
1. Usually the one with the most followers is the real one.
2. Check their tweets and see if they are relevant/serious/expected.
3. The real people usually post a link to their official website in their bio.
Hope I helped :)

For the past year I've been really into organic/homemade bath products. (Soaps, scrubs, shampoos, bodywashes, aromatherapy, etc etc) Or even just things that are made to make your skin feel super smooth, soft, and take off dead skin cells - things like that.
The only places I know of that have the things that I mean are Belle Ame (http://www.belleame.com/home.jhtm) and The Body Shop (http://www.thebodyshop-usa.com/)
The soaps at Belle Ame are EXACTLY what I mean. Does anybody know about other trusted websites (ONLY websites that are online stores) that sell what I'm looking for?
Thanks! (link)

LUSH do all sorts of stuff: bath salts, soaps, etc etc. They have an online store:

Enjoy :)

Is it healthier and better feeling to sleep naked instead of sleeping in my guy's boxers? (link)
|
Have you asked this question before? Or is there just a mass curiosity suddenly regarding the comfort of sleeping naked or not? Either way, its VERY odd.
Why don't you try it? There is no health benefits or cautions in either. No-one knows the weather where you live, and so it depends on that. And no-one knows what you find comfortable! Some may feel they must sleep with boxers on at least, as they don't like everything flopping around. Some may prefer to sleep naked as they feel less restricted. Others may depends on the weather to make the choice.
What made you feel you had to ask people this is beyond me. Why don't you just use common sense, and try it out?!

I re-applied for job seekers allowance in mid november and noticed I had no money. I then received a letter asking me for details about somewhere I once worked. I sent off the form the very next day and then received a letter saying they had increased my allowance by around £2.
However I have had no payment all through December and it is now the new year so it is coming up to quite some weeks now. The office in Birkenhead has been closed most of the time I have called them so I have not been able to contact them about the issue.
My mum expects rent, I need new clothes. My sign on day has been moved to 9th January as would have signed on Boxing day but it is classed as a public holiday.
I have reached my overdraft limit also as it is a student one and they will not change it until I can present them with a passport (they cost most of my allowance). Does the bank have some involvement? As it is a student one it is an interest free overdraft as I chose the lowest amount for my own sake.
I also owe my partner some money also as he pretty much paid for his own gift for Christmas thanks to this problem.
I do not know to to go about solving this, any advice would be nice. (link)

Hello! Most of the users of this site are American. Being British (and a former JSA claimant) I may be of some use.
Now, have you had your first sign on date? If not, it can take anywhere up to 2 weeks to process a new claim. Then from this, you need to sign on. When you go to sign on, it will take 3 working days to get paid. E.g. if your sign on day is monday, you will get paid thursday. If you get paid on a friday however, you will not get paid until wednesday.
This christmas + new years etc doesn't help. All the bank holidays obviously will mean no-one will process your claim, and when they return to work, there will be a large backlog, especially from people who have lost jobs after christmas temp jobs or whatever.
I think what you should now, is to ring the job centre. When they gave you your little booklet, there will most probably be a sticker on it with a bunch of numbers. I think you need to call 'benefits enquiries'. They are now open as per usual now that bank holidays etc are over, and so ring today! Keep in mind that they will keep you on hold for a long time. DO NOT HANG UP! I've done this, and its even worse the second time! So ring up and ask whats happening with your claim. You will need your national insurance number, and your other information.
If you can't find the number, use the below link to find your local office, and call them:
http://los.direct.gov.uk/default.aspx?type=2&lang=en
or use: 0800 055 6688 which is the number for benefit claims.
Also, make sure that you stick to it, and if they say "ring tomorrow" for whatever reason, get up at 8 and be sure you're on the phone by 8.30.
The reason they probably asked for your last job was probably to check how much national insurance you paid. I won't get into the complexities, but theres 2 types of JSA, one contribution based, and another one which I cant remember. you were probably under contributions based. But I don't know, thats not really relevant.
In regards to your bank, you can't be sure if its the bank problem. When you ring the jobcentre line, they will say whether you have been paid etc. If they say you have been paid, ask why you haven't recieved your money. If they suggest its the banks fault, ring them straight away and see.
Your interest rate will depend solely on your bank and account type. Your best bet is to go on the banks website, search for your account type, and see the interest rates.
Also keep in mind it is against the law for a bank to take overdraft fee's out of your benefits. It won't stop the bank however. When you notice this though (if they do charge), head over to your jobcentre and ask them for a letter from them, to your bank saying that they must pay you the overdraft fee back. This is a letter stamped and authorised by the jobcentre, and then go to your bank with your card, ID etc.
So heres my advice in short:
1. contact the job centre
2. see what they say, and call the bank if needed
3. stick to it, ring back, and don't hang up when on hold
4. check what interest rates your bank will charge you
5. get a certified letter from the jobcentre saying that the bank cannot charge you fee's from your benefits.
In reference to the last point, remember that they cant take money from your JSA. When you put money into your account in another form though, It will be withdrawn.
Hope I helped, and good luck with this situation + the job hunt! :)

Why don't you get a job?

do u pregnant by givin a blowjob and i was havin ma periods!
(link)

Of course you don't. You can only get pregnant if sperm enters your vagina. So unless your vagina is located on your face, then no, no you can't get pregnant.
Quite frankly, you shouldn't be sexually active if you don't know how babies are made.

Investing in currency is a personal and important financial decision. The typical demographics of this website is the 13-19 year old teenager who won't have a clue about economic management and the complexities of investing in currency.
You should really consult a currency broker, an investor, or your financial adviser.
The fact is, if you have to ask on this website, then it probably isn't best. You really need an understanding of inflation, GDP, and basic economics and the currency market to invest. And even if you did invest (assuming a little amount), you wouldn't make a huge amount of profit.
So either consult a broker or financial adviser.

Hi, I'm searching online for cheap textbooks for my classes and I'm having a lot of trouble finding reasonable prices. Ive been to abebooks, chegg, and a few other sites but the used books are still disgustingly priced, and I'm not interested in renting. Do any of you know any other sites that will sell books for CHEAP, and not just say they're "cheap". I don't care if the book is falling apart as long as I can read the print. I just cant afford anything else. Thanks.. (link)
|
1. Amazon is your best bet. Its the one stop shop for used books, and most people go here. Retailers know this and this is one of the first places they advertise their books. Chances are if you can't find it here, you wont find it anywhere.
2. Saying that, bookfinder.com searches the cheapest establishment that sells you book you search for.
3. Check in your local used book store. Check in your local business directory e.g. yellow pages to find one near you.
4. Advertise on your campus to see if students that have these books and no longer need them are willing to sell them to you.
5. See if you can find the books in an e-book version. E.g. on amazon kindle. You don't need a kindle to read these e-books, just a computer and the amazon kindle software which is free and easy to download.
6. try checking on websites such as ebay and craigslist.
Good luck, and I hope I helped :)
