We love to feel special. We love to get compliments(but too many freak us out). We love special hugs (just not how youd hug your grandma).
We love when guys pay attention to us more than anyone else, like if carmen electra walked by, you wouldnt turn your head. We love when you are just as sweet to us when you are around your friends as you are when alone. We love getting shown off, like we are something to be proud of.
Girls hate show offs and guys who act posessive, just so you know.

ok so i think this weekedend im going on a hot air balloon ride for my birthday...woohoo...and now i am definetly not scared...yet haha...but i was just wondering if there was anything i might need to know...also what type of camera should i bring...i have digital and disposable, sorry if this is stupid!
Definitely bring the digital because that way you can see how your pictures are gonna turn out and you can have zoom and all of that good stuff. Plus you will be able to load them on to your computer fast and easily.
The only other thing I can think of is bring a jacket or sweatshirt in case its windy or colder. And if where you live is cold now, bring gloves.

a lot of my friends have drifted away. what are some activities/ things i can do to get them back and let them know i still care?
Invite them over to stay the night or for a party. Call them and ask them whats going on in their lives. Go bowling or to the movies. Make sure to talk though because that will really show how much you care. Call to see how their day went. Comsider their feelings when you try to make plans. Ask them what they want to do. Invite them over and make them dinner. Bring cookies for you guys at lunch or something. Anything really will show them that you are intrested, and you seem like a really sweet person so Im sure everything else will work out!

I was looking through a few questions on religion (Not a darn clue why, I just was) and I was reading a question about a girl who wanted to become Buddist.
An answer she recieved made me a little upset. This person that answered kept saying how she was choosing the wrong religion and that being Buddist is wrong.
I've noticed things like this before, strong Christians (yes, it is mostly Christians) criticizing other religions. They will rant on and on about how it's the wrong religion.
What is so wrong with believing in Buddah? Why do you have to criticize people who do not believe in God? We have the right to choose our religion and the right to choose no religion at all.
Why do you believe that your religion is the only "right" religion? This has been bothering me for a while.
I really don't want any Christians on this site to feel that I am directing this ONLY at you. But what I've seen on this site about 90% of the people criticizing people for their religion are strong Christians. So, I'm just basing my question on the majority.

Okay. I am a christian myself. I believe christianity is the only right religion. But I personally dont look down on other religions. And Like I said its my BELEIF. Im not saying everyone has to believe this, but its true to me. Christians are taught that There is one ticket to heaven, and thats accepting jesus christ into your heart as your lord and savior. Just because other religions dont believe in heaven and hell doesnt make it any less true. (this is from my point of view) And yes you can say some christians are hypocrites. Actually we all are in one way or another, because we are taught not to sin and to be like jesus, and No one is perfect, so please dont condemn us for that. But christians are not the only hypocrites. While I understand where you are coming from, and I am embarassed of the other christians that you say are being like this, but dont think all christians are like this. Not all buddists, hindus, jewish people, or wiccans are perfect either. I have been harrassed more than a few times for my religion by some of the other religions, but I dont look down on people because of their ignorance, but it does break my heart.
And I would like to point out to you that these days, christians are so, so discriminated against by the rest of the world and the government. We get sued for telling someone "merry christmas and god bless" because it offended them to hear it. They wont put the salvation army bell ringers (a great charity) in front of the target stores anymore because it has the word salvation in it. They have banned prayer in schools because anyone else who hears it is "offended" yet a lot of other religions are allowed to do what ever because if anyone says anything they holler "discrimination" even though they just did the same thing to the christians. I just read a story about a high school who had a rally for the gay people in the school that everyone had to attend to teach that its okay to be gay. The supporters in the school wore tshirts that said gay pride and such and expressed their beleifs. The next day, 4 christian boys wore tshirts that said "it was adam and eve, not adam and steve."
and said some bible verse on it to express their own belief. They were sent home and given a suspention for a number of days as punishment. To me thats not fair on 2 levels. I dont think that as a christian I would want to attend a gay rally because I dont believe that and I dont support it. Plus they were sent home for their own beleifs, which is discrimination. Not to mention the senator being questioned for haveing the 10 commandments in his office, but I wont go there. I could go on and on about how its getting worse for us. and I just wanted you to see it from some of our points of view. Im not trying to get on you at all, just giving a different sight.

I really need help. I don't know if the guy ment anything by this but it is really getting to me. Today I was on the phone with a good friend of mine,well then another friend got on. He knows I like his cousin. And I like his cousin a LOT! Well I talked to him for a lil' while and then I go okay let me talk to ________ and he was like 'fine just ditch me' and I was like 'I am sorry. But I still love you.' (they know I don't mean this) Then he goes' I love you to and if you didn't like my cousin I would so be hitting on you right now.' okay. IT GOT ME SOOOO confused. I don't know if he meant it or if he was just joking. And he is a Sr. while I am still a Fr. and well no guys really like me as a GIRLFRIEND but just as a FRIEND. And I doubt a SR. would even consider liking me because I am this short little girlish looking girl. So please HELP me. I don't know if this is really asking for advice or just to get people's opinions on what he ment.

A SR. WOULD DEFINITELY LIKE YOU!!!! Its not that big of an age difference anymore (not like in middle school) Trust me. A lot of guys in my school (I'ma sophmore) go for the younger girls. Also, don't let flattery get in the way of you liking his cousin. Since you didnt like him before, then it should mean nothing to you. Just keep being friends with him before. Maybe he will eventually bring it up and explain what you meant. But even if he does like you, dont ever go for him unless you are over his cousin and are sure that you like him and its not just flattery. (I know that you didnt ask anything about that, but if it comes up in the future, I hope that helps you)

Well a lot of people cant change their ways, but some do. So I think if you really like him you should give him a chance, but only one chance. Then he can prove that hes changing. If he screws up then it shows that hes not changing. You seem like a really good person thats concerned about herself, and I respect that and so should he, so explain to him that you want to keep out of trouble, but you really like him, so he needs to keep out of trouble too. And make sure he knows if he cheats on you, even if its just once, that hes gone! You deserve better than that.

It means he could be looking for another girl, but hes keeping you around for if he doesnt find one, that way he at least has someone. like you're just his back up.

Only stupid girls think that all guys cheat. And only stupid guys think that all girls think that. Its just a stereotype. Why are girls labeled as the sensitive ones? Why are guys said to be less compassionate?
And how is it proven that girls cheat more than guys? No one could actually know that. Okay so someone took a survey of 500 people.. thats just a pecentage. Same as no one can prove that guys cheat more.
Overall.. all cheaters suck, guys or girls, and no one really knows who cheats more. so good luck with finding your answer...

Hey has anyone seen SAW 2? Can anyone tell me if it was scary? like REALLY scary? Or what about SAW 1? was that one scary? like REALLY REALLY scary, like would it make a girl cry? Saw was about this killer that teaches life lessons in a twisted way. He picks people that dont aprecciate thier lives and puts them in situations where they must get their lives back or die trying. Such as, a woman who abuses drugs must cut open the stomach of a man who is drugged but alive in order to retrieve a key that unlocks a reverse bear trap locked into her jaw...In 60 seconds. This woman is in saw 2 also. The plot centers around two men trapped by the killer, or so we thought. The movie has a twist ending that you will only get if you watch the movie.
Saw is scary, but in a more psychological thriller way. I mean there is blood and stuff, but it really makes you think.
It is a good movie for a date, it definitely gives you excuse to cuddle.
Just tell him you get scared easily and you heard this movie is really scary!

On sunda is my boyfriends little sisters birthday party. It will be the first time I have ever met his parents! I want them to know I am a really nice girl and that I love there son alot. First of all that is really sweet of you. Its really great that you want to please his parents, so good for you. Smile a lot at them and talk to them like you would any other adults. Show respect, and ask them questions about themselves and their lives. Show general intrest in them. As for your boyfriend, be respectful while in their home. I dont know how old fashioned they are, but dont get too touchy feely. Holding hands and hugs are okay, but no hands on thighs and such. You dont want them to think that youre all about the physical aspecg of a relationship. Oh and I dont know how old his little sister is but make sure you talk to her. If shes young, play with her a little bit . If shes too old for that, make a little conversation and treat her like shes your friend. His parents will probably notice that and see you really are a nice girl.

Hey...I need help agian! If you have never had a boyfriend, you are in 8th grade, 13, never even kissed a guy...Then do you get one! I want a boyfriend but no one has asked me out...I don't even think anyone has ever liked me! Okay hun, dont worry at all. You may feel like you are way behind, but you arent. 13 is really young and you have high school (and college perhaps) ahead of you. You just have to let things happen with this guy you like. You cant make a guy like you. You have to be yourself and maybe throw out some signals that you like him by flirting a little. But whatever you do dont try to change yourself, as cheesy as it may sound, but you need to just be yourself because if you change, then he wont really like you, he will like someone fake. About not knowing how to kiss...Dont Worry! I was the same way. When the time comes, it will all come to you, its an instinct. You just cant think too much, because it will overpower your instinct. If you try and plan it out, it will not be nearly as good. I can be sure guys have liked you before, trust me. And Im sure you are really pretty if your friends tell you that. Maybe guys are just intimidated of you. You need to be outgoing and smile a lot, or guys wont think you are open to them and that you dont wanna talk to them. Plus guys LOVE girls with confidence.

To be honest if you are crying just because a guy said your boobs are small then you are way too immature to even think about making your boobs bigger. The only way to do that is to get implants. Or put on some weight. But by the way you asked this question and your horrible use of grammar tells me that you are about....12..13? Your boobs are no where near their maximum and you need to chill out and stop worrying about it. If you are older than that, then you are really immature for your age and need to grow up.

Well If you went along with it because you were scared or pressured, then its really not rape, and you cant get this guy in trouble. But If he physically held you down and made you do it, then it is. But you only had 3 days after it happened to get a kit done at the police. So You can tell your parents but really theres nothing the police can do.

Yes I have read it. Its not historical, or as far as anyone knows, its just demonstrating the feelings of Shirley Jackson. You see, the people did this every year, and no one knew why, they just knew it was tradition, so no one fought it. Its kind of a story showing that people need to question and fight back against what they dont believe in.

You have to tell her. You need that test and your mom is the one who is going to be able to help and support you. But a 24 and a 49 year old and you are 14? Well Idk what state you live in, but I know thats definitely under the legal age of consent, so if your mom wanted, she could take them both to court for statutory rape, which is when an adult over the legal age of consent has sex with someone younger then the legal age of consent, even if the younger person was willing. Just be really outgoing, and let everyone see that you are open to new friends. And try to talk to more people. Compliments are good ice breakers. After you start talking to somenew people, then maybe invite them to the movies or to your house or something. Keep hanging out with your best friends on the weekends and stuff, but dont be soo occupied with them that others think you dont want new friends. And smile alot and seem friendly, so people wont be shy toward you.
