Q: I have really noticeable blackish upperlip hair because i have hormone problems with my ovaries. Its not bad to the point where it looks like a mustache. I just dont like seeing it and knowing its there. For months I used facial hair bleaching kit, but then I felt it looked more noticeable. So I bought a facial hair WAXING kit. A week later my hair grew back! I think the wax kit really doesn't work.. but i want to get it professionally done. How long will the professional waxing last for? I heard 8 weeks. I don't care if its longer than a month, but i don't want to have to go out so often for it tho, like every 2 weeks. Or do you think I should just keep bleaching it? Thanks in adviceeeeeeeeee.

i get it waxed and it lasts over four monthes but if it grew back so quickly with the waxing kit i would say it would grow back in about a month the bleaching will only take away the COLOR of the hair but not the ACTUAL hair. you coul try Nair for your face and it shlould last a week or so. good Luck!

Q: Well I'm not sure and I mean I'm Really not sure if I like my guy friend as a close friend like a brother or as a boyfriend. What are some signs or things that tell I probably like a guy as a more than a friend and as just a friend?

Q: ok one of my best friends (lest's call her B) broke up with this guy (let's call him A) 2 weeks ago. we all got invited to this party, but B didn't go. when i got to the party, A was flirting with me and tried to get me to dance with him. then he just kind of held me when i told him no. i guess i looked kind of sad because he asked me what was wrong. i told him nothing, but i guess i still looked sad because he tried to make me smile. then he just started kissing me on my neck, on my cheeks, and then he just leaned in and kissed me on the lips. i didn't kiss him back, but he did it again and i just stood there. i didn't push him off because for some reason, i just felt kinda weak...but at the same time it felt so wrong. then he started blowing in my ear and whispering things to me. now i feel really bad because it feels like i'm stabbing B in the back. now i can't get A off of my mind. i'm just really confused...what should i do?

you shouldent feel bad. HE came up to YOU! and also, theyve been broken up for 2 WHOLE WEEKS already! i woulddent worry about it. you dont need to tell her. unless you think shell find out some other way then you should tell her. explain to her that you really like him. dont go itno details about all the things he did because it could make her sad

Q: Ok so I went to my school's dance last night. It was my first year there. I've never danced before like at parties or anything. I was just fooling aroud with one of my guy friends and well we sort of started freak dancing. My dress started going up but im not sure if anyone saw. I kind of felt weird, and i kind of regret it. I'm not even sure if it looked stupid or not, and i wondered what people thought. Did anyone feel this way after their first freak dance? Should I not do it again?

at dances people are more concerned about having a good time
they just want to party and dance
i dont think theyre main concern was if you were freaking properly or whatever. i dont even think they noticed. and if they did, you can explain to them you were just dancing and having a good time, just like they shouldve been.

Q: I am really bored.People tell me to get a life.How do I do that.Please tell me how I should get a life,get rid of my boredom,meet new people and make new friends. Any answers are appreciated

i think you should try to get a life for other people. if YOU feel like you need a life, you could try not spending weekends or after school time alone. try henging out at the mall or having partys at your house and sit with people at lunch. kind of focus your life on becoming in the "inner circle". i dont suggest that you do that though. your grades might completely drop because yu might not have time for hw or to study and being "in" isnt the most important thing. but im just a girl from an advice column why listen to me?still you should work on building your self confidence. wither way, i think the most important thing a girl can have is confidence. good luck!

Q: One of my very close friends is a soldier in Iraq right now and I have made a commitment to him that I'll talk to him every night. The problem is, he isn't able to talk until about midnight every night and then wants to talk for several hours, when I have to get up at 8 or 9 in the morning every day to go to class. I drink coffee in the morning to wake me up but I still feel pretty dead all day. I know that most of you are going to say to just stop talking to him so I can get on a regular sleeping schedule but it's not that simple. We're very close friends and enjoy talking to each other a lot, so I can't do that...I don't know what to do...help?!

i would go to sleep as soon as your done with your work or whatever as soon as you get home and set your alarm for 12:30 or 1 and then call him and talk as late as you want that way you wont stress.

eh, preppy has different sides.
the girly wich is like a pleated mini skirt with knee socks and tennis shoes with a cropped colared shirt. that kind of preppy is "fake preppy". they dont abide by all the "preppy 'rules' " like the "less is more"
orr the preppy that wears clothes from stores like Polo, Lilly, Brooks Brothers, Lacoste, and LL Bean

Q: I have straight, long, and layered hair. I have no bangs. Can someone give me ideas on what to do with my hair, like a different style for each day of the week. Thanks! But don't suggest scrunching unless you have good tips because my hair is too straight to be scrunched, it would only stay scrunched for like an hour.

Pig tails. i know it sounds dorky but only people with straight hair can pull it off. not the babyish high pigtails with the bows in it tho. two low tight pigtails with ponytails the same color as your hair so the ponytail not really noticable.
or you could do a braid and put it to the side.
if you want curly hair, ill teach you how. this is best to do in the morning. when you get out of the shower, brush out your hair and squeeze some of the water out. part your hair to the side. then, devide your hair in half so that the front has a side part and the back has a middle-part. take mouse (about the size of a quarter) and put it in the first half. devide it into three EQUAL parts and braid it really tight. get as close to the bottom of your hair as you can. repeat on the other side. it would be best if you left this in for close to 24 hours for it to last the rest of the next day. when your ready for curls, take the braids out and smoothe smoothing serum through it. spray it with anti-friz and look at it in the mirror. if its too flat, shake it out with your head upside down. ittle make it bigger.
another aproach would be to put your hair completely up in a messy bun
or in a ponytail
or a cute headband
or french braids
or, if you go to the beauty supply store, you can get collorfull clips that you stick in at your roots and it gives you streaks. you can do this in every color and it mix"s it up.

i personally think tight jeans look kind of gay. and super baggy jeans where you can see all of a guys underwear are like ew. but normal not to tight not to lose jeans arent bad. if we can see like the band of your underwear or a little of the top half its not that bad. and T shirts. normal T shirts. and spiky hair but not to the point where it looks like if you would touch it, it would kill you, you know? anythin else lemme know

Q: What does putting Vasoline/Petroleum Jelly on your teeth do to them? Does it make them shiny or white or what?

Q: I'm 21 and i'm engaged, my fiance is 24. I kmow you thinking that i'm to young but we have been together for almost two years. Recently we got in a fight about when we were going to get married. We originally wanted the date to be somewhere around April, but when I told him that I was thinking about waiting until I finished college he got so upset. He kept saying that us getting married wouldn't interfer with my work but I really want to wait. Planning a wedding takes up so much time. So anyways he just left afterwards and said that he would be back later. I stayed up and by 2:00 he still wasn't back and I started freaking out. I called some of his friends, but he wasn't with them. So by then I was really freaking out, then he came home around 2:30 drunk. I started yelling at him about how much he scared me, and he just blew up and started screaming at me. We've hardly ever gotten into a fight before, not like this. He started saying a lot of crap and practilly accused me of cheating on him and sleeping around, and also saying that I didn't love him. So we were fighting and then he hit me. He's never done that before.I ran into our room and locked the door. I cryed myself to sleep after that. The next morning I could tell how sorry he was when I woke up. He somehow managed to unlock the door, there were flowers and chocolate on the bed next to me and a note saying how sorry he was. When I got out of bed he was cooking breakfast and when he saw me he walked over to me and kissed me saying how sorry he was and asking for my forgiveness. He said that we could wait to get married as long as I wanted and started going on about how he could skip work and we could spend the day together. Does he honestly think that that would make everything okay? Was it supposed to? I told him I didn't want to spend the day together, and went back to our room and started packing. I din't want to be their. He tried to stop me from going but I just told him I would be gone for a while and left. I needed to think. Now it's been a week later and i'm staying with my friend who lives in Boston. (I live in New York)But I feel guilty for leaving, but why should I it's only fair. He walked out on me didn't he? And I miss him. I don't want to miss him, and I feel stupid for missing him after what he did to me. Am I being fair? He's called me a zillion times since then. I never answer the phone, but he's left a bunch of messages saying how worried he is about me and how sorry he is, and I guess part of me wants him to feel bad, even though I love him. I do still love him I just don't know what to do. I'm I being selfish in ignoring him and running away from my problems. I'v never ad to deal with anything like this and like I said I don't know how to deal with the situation. What should I do? Should I go home? Should I forgive him. I mean he just made one mistake, granted a big mistake, but everyone makes mistakes right? I'm just so confused. Please help!

i dont actually think you should listen to a 13 year old girl whos had absuloutly no experience in love, but i think you should stay away. he walked out on you and HIT you. thats BAD! he cant hit you! now you know how he acts when hes drunk. if he ever gets drunk again your going to have to deal with the same thing you are dealing with now. i would call him and tell him he blew it. that you dont want to be with someone who walks out on you and accusess you of things you didnt do and then hits you. tell him you need a month or two to work everything and youd like it if he would leave you alone. thats going to hurt him bad, you walking out on him for a month. after, you can come back and decide if your ready to forgive him or not. if you are, call him and tell him your willing to take him back if he promises not to do that ever again. everyone make smistakes, you just need to make sure he dosent make the same mistakes again. best of luck on your engagement!

Q: For girls: if a girl has a pimple do other girls notice? if like she has many pimples but they're all on like..you know when you have a pimple and its clearing up but not totally because there's like a red cirle there but you can't feel anything when you touch it? well what if your face was liek that but you have a HUGE pimple, do other girls notice? yeah, girls notice those things. but its not like they look at them and say "omg that girl has a zit shes so wierd" they say "she has good hair, pretty eyes, and a tiny zit by her nose" and thats it. girls would notice just as much if you wore cover up. i wouldent worry about it.

Q: ok heres mr problem... i never like one guy for a long period of time. Q: Can you get headaches from tanning, or tanning too much. Because I just started tanning again like two weeks ago, and I've been having headaches, in the front of my head. I don't know if it's from stress from exams last week & starting a new sem. today, or from tanning? i want to hear what your going to say! sorry im very nosy but if you could tell us what it is Id be eternally greatful. i would try breathing. i know it sounds incredibly retarded, but try sitting with your legs crossed indian style and breathing. maybe stretch out a little and concentrate on the sound of your breathing instead of what your going to say. when your about to tell the thing which you still wont tell us, try digging your nail into somwher e on your arm and it kind of burns off come nervous energy. good luck!

you could try Sculpey 3 clay. it molds really easily and you can bake it in your oven. if you take a picture and photocopy it into black and white, you can transfer the picture onto the clay by rubbing it facedown on the clay with a spoon. then you can mold it and bake it. it has really cool results. if your intrested, i can send you websites that give ideas for modeling clay. lemme know!
