alright, i have a question. my parents decided not to go to curch for awhile...but we ARE going back. i HATE the people at that church. none of the kids in youth group are nice to me...or talk to me. and im a shy person so i dont want to go up to them and to top it all off the teachers are MEAN! and they have no clue wat theyre doing! how do i tell my parents i dont like it and i want to go to another church?

p.s. my mom and dad LOVE the church

Gee, you're going to church but you "hate" the people...in the Bible doesn't that say hating someone means that you would kill them? Just tell your parents about how you feel, and maybe you can invite some of your friends to go to your church, and then maybe you'll have more fun since your friends will be there. Tell your parents you want to browse for some new churches..they might find one they like more! If they say no, just accept it and go to the church (it's only one day a week, right?). Or, as I said, invite some of your friends.

14 yrs old. 180 lbs, im a girl. I'm 5 foot 7, and have a big build to begin with, like i have broad shoulders. Im a major tomboy too, so all my clothes r kinda baggy, and i wear long shorts and football jerseys. Will guys EVER like me? Why is everything based on looks?I rate high

YES, Guys will still like you! There are different "types" of people in the world, and I believe that no matter how old or how different looking someone is, they'll find someone that can love them. And you're right, why is everything based on looks? One girl wrote, "How can I be skinny and popular?" as a question, and I was like, "You don't have to be a skinny stick to be 'popular'". I am kind of overweight also but I've found a few guys that like me, and I'm happy with my weight and not gonna change just because someone else wants me to. As long as it's not unhealthy, why change who you are?

Well there are two things you can do: Either keep your feelings to yourself and never find out how he feels about you, OR tell him how you feel and you can see what he feels about you. Telling him is a risk you have to take, but if you never do tell him, you might never have the chance later (like if he gets a different girlfriend or something). I waited to tell my crush how I felt (bad idea since he just got a girlfriend) and should've told him before he got together with her. But, it was a good thing because then I found out what a jerk he was, lol. Well good luck with your guy!

13/f--->Hey guys, i have a weight problem, i weigh about 215 and well i never realized how fat i was until i really looked in the mirror. I started to run and im doing volleyball so we have to run for like 2 and a half hours straight and i'm going to start excersizing with my friend.I also don't drink any soda or eat junk food now. Keep doing what you're doing. Since you're becoming a teen, these body changes will happen. If you need advice on losing weight, just talk to your doctor about it and he/she will give you the best advice. Drink water (a lot) and don't eat breads and sweets often. It's good that you're not drinking soda, because that is a drink that is really unhealthy. Instead of eating like a sandwich for lunch, eat soup and salad.

How can I show my boyfriend that I REALLY love him, but not by making out?

Well, just tell him how you feel about him. Instead of making out with him, you could tell him how you think of him a lot, and really want to stay with him. Hug him when you see him, cuddle with him when you watch a movie together. Look into his eyes and make him feel like you really want to be with him. He'll feel really loved, and it'll make him want to do the same back.

Im going to the movies with my boyfriend on Friday, all we do is hold hands and a couple times before he put his arm around me. How do I know if he wants to kiss me but is too nervous?

He must be too nervous to kiss you in front of other people. When you're in the movie theater, just gently squeeze his hand, and when he looks over at you, look into his eyes and move your face closer. This will give him the hint you want to kiss him. If he doesn't get the hint, then wait until the date is over to kiss him, so he won't be nervous.

When you're alone with him, you should just look into his eyes, and when he gets the hint you want to kiss him, he should bend over and kiss you back. It shouldn't be a problem since he IS your boyfriend. It might be embaressing at first, but it'll be worth you get your kiss.

Well im supposed to get my period tomorrow..but sometimes its late. and i need to go swimming all weekend and next week. but i dont use tampons..so is it ok to swim with Pads? thanks

Your pad will fall apart if you go swimming with one on. When I was at camp I had my period so I couldn't go swimming (I didn't want to risk it so I just didn't swim). I didn't want anything to happen, and I don't want anything to happen to you either. I suggest using a tampon.

how do people get boyfriends? i cant get one.

Lol, it's not really that hard. If a girl likes a guy and wants to go out with him, she needs to find out if he likes her, and then just ask him out or wait for him to ask her. You can't just "get" a boyfriend, you need to share your interests with a guy and spend time together. Finally, when you guys both wanna become boyfriend/girlfriend, it'll just happen.

Well some hints to show a guy you like him is to:

1. Smile at him when he looks into your direction (show your teeth).
2. Touch him when you talk to him (like touch his arms).
3. When he talks to you, look into his eyes and show that you're really interested in what he's saying.
4. Ask him to hang out with you and all of your friends.
5. Make him feel needed. Like if you need some help with a project at school, ask him for that help. Guys like to feel needed.
6. Ask him out.

What do you think of a girl in her young teens(say 15,16) starting a relationship with someone thats about 11 years older then her. Say, this guy really does like the girl and the girl totally loves this guy. What are your thoughts on this? They've kissed and really do feel for eachother, but the guy lives a couple hours away, and how would this girl tell her parents if they were to ever start a relationship?

Okay, I agree that age shouldn't really matter with love, but this is kinda weird. This is against the law first of all, and think of it this way: When he was 11 years old you were born. When you think of it that way, isn't it kind of odd? Actually, my dad just got remarried to a 30 year-old and my dad is 42, but it isn't a big problem since they're both ADULTS and able to make their own desicions (and it's legal). I know you don't want to hear this, but it can't really be love if he's that much older then you. You should want until you're 18 to have a boyfriend that much older.

Uh it depends on what kind of things you and your boyfriend like doing...you could go bowling or just rent a movie from Block Buster or something. Block Buster is really has good prices and you can find a lot of good movies there. If you look golf you could do minature golf with him. A nice thing to do is just stay at home and be together without doing anything too expensive, such as watching a movie at home alone with popcorn, so you won't have to pay much.

Ok, I was just wondering- how do you know if a guy likes you when the only time your getting to talk to him is online. Because it's summer and you can't really see him. How would you say would be ways to figure it out?

Well start flirting with him. If he flirts back, then he must like you. It might not be him though, it could just be one of his friends using his screename. If he starts chatting with you first, then that means he wants to talk to you and spend time with you. Tell him your phone number, so you know it is really him you're talking to. When you get to know him better, ask him out or ask him to "hang out" sometime.

I know im only 13, but I need some advice. If you know his phone number, you need to call him and talk to him about this. If he has an email, send him one stating that he needs to call you. If any of your friends know him, ask them if they've seen him online. When you get together with your boyfriend, kiss him. Since you're his girlfriend, suprise him with a kiss on the cheek, and then maybe he'll reply by kissing you back. If you're comfortable with him, it shouldn't be a problem. He sounds like a good person.

When you dye your hair with kool aid, how long does the color stay in for??

and also...how do you do it?

Um I don't think Kool Aid would stay in your hair for a long time...I suggest just buying colored hair spray you can just buy at Brooke's or another small shop. I got blue hair spray once from a small shop and it looked really good. Ask one of the people who work there if they think it is good quality.
