katholeen answered Saturday July 2 2005, 4:46 pm: IP codes or address are the series of numbers and stuff that identifies you computer from all the other computers and has all your files and that stuff. I wouldn't give it out to anyone... You might get a virus or something, iono, but don't. [ katholeen's advice column | Ask katholeen A Question ]
Napalm350z answered Friday July 1 2005, 2:54 pm: It's not an IP code, It's an IP address. Unless this person knows what they are doing then they can't really do anything(but you can't know, so don't tell if you do know it). To change it you just unplug your modem and then plug it back in. Do not tell people your IP because someone could find you that way. If you don't know this kid in person, it could be a stalker trying to find you and where you live. Be careful!
MummuM answered Thursday June 30 2005, 9:43 pm: Don't give him your IP Code! An IP Code is the code that runs all your computer, with all the programs and files, etc. If he knows your IP Code he can hack your computer and pretty much go through everything that you have on your computer. He can see everything you've been looking at, read all your chat history, go on everything that is on your computer.
