Is there any food from the McDonalds menu that is SLIGHTLY HEALTHY: such as a salad, that comes with the monopoly stickers?
I know that mcDonalds is just very unhealthy overall, but what are the healthiest things on the menu (that come with the stickers?
You might as well enjoy the burgers and fries and soda while trying to win.
Come on- Even when I go into McDonalds Iam not getting a caesar salad- Iam going all out with a Big Mac and super sizing it. Once in a while of course ;-)
I'm going to the doctor tomorrow to get an antiobiotic filled. I have also had a problem with my hands sweating all the time. I mean all the time, except when im sleeping. It interferes with school writing and my job. Ive also had underarm sweating problems that i treat with drysol but i tried for my palms and it didnt work. So do you think the doctor can prescribe me anything for my hand sweating?thanks!

How many associate's degrees would it take to look as impressive/qualified as a person with a bachelor's degree? How many bachelor's degrees would it take to look as impressive/qualified as a person with a master's degree?
Obviously a person with 20 associate's degrees looks more educated and impressive than someone with 1 bachelor's degree, but where can you draw the line? (3 associates=1 bachelor's, 4 associate's=1 bachelor's, etc.)
If you have 20 Associates degrees then you have a shitload of money to spend and 40 years of school under your belt; call me crazy but that's a bit ridiculous. If you have one Bachelor's degree it shows that you have direction and know what you want.
I know in the NYPD you need at least an Associates degree to become a police officer and if you ever want to go above P.O in rank then you need a Bachelors degree. If you want to go into federal law enforcement then you need at least a Bachelors. Iam just citing these as examples, but my main point is that you might as well go get a 4 year bachelor's degree because it's becoming the minimum in a lot of places for when you want to be considered to be promoted and you never know when your priorities will change and you won't have time for school to finish your bachelor's degree and you'll be stuck with an Associates. You might as well just go ahead and find what really interests you and get a BA or BS in it while you're still young. Figure if you go to college right out of HS at 18 you'll have your Bachelors by 22, that's very young and you won't have to worry about school anymore unless you really want/need a Masters.
okay so, i just got back from vacation almost 3 week tomorrow. So when i got back i weighed myself. 125.5. During my presence back at home i've been eating less just a fruit for breakfast but then i've eaten alot of lunch and dinner. a little bit less then normal. Last night i weighed myself i weighed 119.5, i've lost about 6 pounds in 3 weeks, non-diet. is that normal? also there are little bumps around my armpits area like pimples sort. please tell me whats happening. i've also been having diahhrea.
Actually fruit has a fair amount of fiber in it so you're always having to go because of the fructose fruit sugar and the traces of fiber. You're only losing water weight, you aren't losing bodyfat because you aren't eating enough. This diet is going to fail sooner or later and you're going to totally pig out one way and send your hormone levels through the roof. Eat more, more often- just eat smarter.
I'm 5'5", female, 165 pounds.
I know that Im overweight, but it's a lot better than the 195 and 5'2" I used to be.
I've lost weight by eating around 1200 calories a day (sometimes less) and exercising most days (running or walking, crunches, and Pilates)
Now I;ve hit a standstill and I'm stuck around 160-165. It fluctuates because.. well. you can probably guess :]
So I was wondering, what should I be doing different? I have an elliptical, home gym, total gym, and a treadmill (but I always walk outside)
I'm starting to think that I'm not eating enough and starving myself?
I'm not exuactly sure.. but I guess my question is why am I not losing anymore weight (my doctor wants me around 120!!) and you seem like the best person to ask.

Hmm...well it sounds like you're getting a fair amount of calories each day but you can probably get away with around 300 more. You should most likely be doing your exercising different. If you walk 2 miles, then walk 3, if you do 15 mins of the same pace on the elliptical, then do 10 mins at a really hard pace or do it in intervals instead. Little tiny things like adding a little more intensity or another minute of a new level on a machine can make a big difference in the outcome of breaking a plateau. Also consider adding more spices to your foods, this will speed up the metabolism and be a welcome change. Plateaus suck, but we all hit them and they're pretty easy to break out of with just a little change of this and that.
And I think I have a prettyyyyyy good idea about why your weight fluctuates :-P (A little better nutrition and a lot of vitamins can help that situation a lot by the way.)
You know in the gym places, they sell those pills that kill fat. I dont know the name in English sorry about that. Anyways, I work out a lot but I have a lot of fat on my body and everybody insists that this fitness aid, the fat killer (not its real name) causes no damage on your health at all. Its not like its hormones or steroids or anything. Should I proceed or not?
I am huge, I work out a lot, never ever consumed anything before, I am 110 kilos and do 60 pull ups every day and run for 1 hour every single day. I am pretty much the strongest person I know, and the biggest.
I usually don't put it this way but I'll say it-
In my PROFESSIONAL opinion I highly recommend that you steer away from those pills. I am not going into specifics, I am just going to say that they aren't for you.
ok, this is very random but i was watching a movie about a murder and i was wondering, if someone is arrested under murder charges and someone bails them out, later they go to trial and are found innocent, do they get that bail money back?
Bail is just a perp's way of saying that he will show up in court on the dates he needs to. It is in lieu of jail and is only granted if the judge finds it acceptable. For murder..you better be rich and famous to afford bail if it is offered.
Don't take what you see in the movies too serious about bounty hunters and bail bond agencies. If someone jumps bail- an arrest warrant is issued by a judge and the REAL police go after the guy. Local police go after whoever it is as long as it isn't federal...if he's a federal fugitive then the U.S. Marshals come after him; you do not want them coming after you if you jumped bail.

Lots of places give it, but it's like having a kindergarten degree nowadays. Even a 4 year bachelor's degree is like a GED nowadays because everyone is going to college and college just isn't what it used to be. You have to go beyond an undergrad setting if you really want to stand out. If you think that someday you're going to get hired over someone else who applies for a position that actually went to school, then you're wrong. If actual school is an option, do yourself a big favor and go to school.

A guy at my school does all of these "magic" tricks with cards (making them "float"), his shoelaces (self tying shoelaces), and quarters (bending them). I figured them all out except for two.
He took an old quarter from me then, took my finger and started rubbing it against the edge of the quarter while bending it up. I thought he was just moving the quarter up but then he gave me the quarter and it was bent! He did this with several other people.
The next one was.. he took a card off the top of the deck and showed it to me. He then placed the card under my shoe and took the next card in the deck. He flicked the card a couple of times and told me to pick the card up from under my shoe. When I looked at the card.. it was the other card! I don't know how he could have done it.
Does anybody know how he did either of them?
I know how he does everything he does...the Self Tying Shoelaces are a David Blaine classic and I GUARANTEE you didn't figure out how that was done. Am I going to ever tell anyone how we do it? Hell no. That would ruin the whole effect.

I'm a 15/f and swim quite alot and I do weight lifting. I'm in good shape and have a ntaurally high metabolism... I do eat alot 'cause I swim so much. Below my belly button I have a little bit of fat that just won't go away. I do a ton of crunches every day and I've even starved myself for a few days and stuff but it just won't go away, any suggestions on how to lose that lil flab of fat?

By doing that you have caused your body to hold more water and retain more fat since it had a lack of energy from a lack of nutrients. Your hormones secreted way too much and you put a lot of stress on your body, leading to more Cortisol production which leads to an expanded stomach and a thicker layer of fat.
Simple English= Eat better. Not less.

okay im not skinny but im definitely not fat.
i weigh 145lbs and am 5'7 or 5'8 and wear a size 5 jeans. but i have stretch marks all over and i dont know how to get rid of them they keep getting worse! what do i do?
and also for some reason i am getting side handles really bad how do i get rid of them?

Hun; I've addressed this concern many times before about ab and oblique exercises and if you look back at some previous answers on my column you will find the answer that you're looking for.
From the sounds of it thought you seem like you're doing OK because you're a bit taller than most females and you're going to have more body mass. Iam sure that whatever your concern is it is just cosmetic and can be remedied by a little less calories and more cardio work. If you read my stuff reguarly then you know Iam always stressing the point to everyone that diet is everything..you really are what you eat.

Yea, that would be cute. I applaud your efforts for trying to impress a guy by taking part in his sport...very cool. You could easily complain and say how you hate sports but you're taking the high road...if he's anything like me with his love of sports he will be sure to take notice and be drawn in by this.
Well I think I know a little bit more about baseball and its history than the average fan and I could tell you things to say but Iam not sure how big of a fan he is. If the count is 3-0 you can almost guarantee the pitcher is going to throw a fastball so if it comes to that you can say "Fastball on the corner of the plate" before the pitcher throws it.
If a double play is turned you can really impress him by saying what kind of double play it is- for example- a 4,6,3 double play or a 3,6,3 double play. How you determine that is by the rank as follows:
Pitcher-1
Catcher-2
1st Baseman-3
2nd Baseman-4
3rd Baseman-5
Shortstop-6
So if a ball is hit to the shortstop for example and he flips it to the 2nd baseman and the 2nd baseman records the out on second and throws to the 1st baseman and the runner is out its a 6,4,3 double play.
If you don't want to go the whole game knowledge route then you can always down some serious hot dogs, take part in all of the chants and wear whatever team he likes' hat...that's always good lol.

Looks like you have the foundations of good muscle tone and pretty low body fat. Some ab specific workouts devoted to rope tucks, crunches and lots of cardio along with less sodium in your diet and an overall cut of about 500 calories per day should put you where you want to be.
What is a good fast way to gain muscle mass?
You know what- I was going to hold my tongue on this but I can't.
Let's make something clear; muscle mass doesn't come fast and if you want real mass then you're going to have to work at it REALLY hard. Yea that means 9 hours of sleep a night, 5 meals a day and gut wrenching hours in the gym among the other countless variables.
Personally, as someone who has busted his ass in the gym for 5 years now I find your question stupid and insulting to people who have put the blood, sweat and tears into gaining and keeping respectable muscle mass. Why don't you go and actually WORK for it and not ask questions looking for a shortcut?

I'm a small girl, about 5' and 110 lbs. I'm a size 0 or 2, but it's really hard to find clothes that fit me well. Pants that fit around my leg don't fit around my waist because my inner thigh is not toned. I'd like to have my pants fit me better.
I'm not trying to lose weight; I'm just trying to tone my inner thighs. Do you have any specific exercises or websites that might expedite this?
Oh, and just exercise...no food plans or whateever.

Hun, I can tell you all the great exercises and hype it all up, but Iam not going to do that.
At 5 feet and 110 lbs and a size 0-2 I would bet 5 $30 sessions that you don't have a serious problem and you really shouldn't stress out about it. If you really truly feel the need that this is a major problem then you should target your legs by doing squats and lunges mainly and "Toning" anything all comes down to diet. Before you overexert yourself and stress about the inner part of your thighs just ask yourself "Man, is this really a big deal?" Good luck with it and Iam sure whatever the problem is it will be remedied easily because of your stature.
Is it better to do dungbell curls or machines and what are the advantages or each. I do machines like bicep curls, shoulder press, chest press, push downs, and things like that.
Freeweights all the way. Dumbells and barbells not only work the muscles that are being targeted and do it effectively but also help to work the stabilizer muscles that come into play as well. Machines have a very strict range of motion and don't allow for a lot of movement and true muscle activity. Machines should only be used in 2 situations:
1.) You're lazy and dont feel like stacking weights and cleaning them up off the floor and bar
2.) You're too scared to use freeweights and that's a real lame excuse lol.
I noticed that you didn't list one single leg machine which indicates that you are most likely a guy...and even if you aren't; stop focusing so much on the upper body and start doing your legs with squats, lunges and leg extensions. Squats especially will build more total body endurance and (Yes Iam going to say the word every trainer hates) "Tone".

Ok...allow me to set it straight.
-You're 13 years old and complex diets have no place in your life yet. Your body simply isn't ready to handle the rigors of a diet based on deprivation.
-If you were doing the 20 carb a day diet then the real question would be what exactly carbs would it be that you eat and not what you eat in place of them. Fruits, veggies, whole grain breads and lots of fiber would be the answer to that.
-You shouldn't be doing these stupid ass diets, no one should. Period.
Now that's my advice as someone who is both a certified trainer and someone who is a bodybuilder who's been at this game for quite a while now. You can listen to someone who's going to tell you it's the greatest thing since sliced bread and that you're ready for it or you can listen to me saying that it isn't your best option and that there are other plans out there that can suit you better. Your choice either way.

Yes they most certainly are 4-1. They just beat Purdue 35-21 on Saturday. And yes the university is located in South Bend, Indiana along with the College Football Hall of Fame. This is a question that could have been Googled..but because you asked about ND..it's all good in my book :-)
