well i'm going to a baseball game with 2 friends and the k id i like.. i really want to impress him and i dont know anything sbout mbaseball buti really want to be cute.. I need to know how to act, what to wear, and stuff about baseball. I REALLY WANT TO IMPRESS HIM!!
Well I think I know a little bit more about baseball and its history than the average fan and I could tell you things to say but Iam not sure how big of a fan he is. If the count is 3-0 you can almost guarantee the pitcher is going to throw a fastball so if it comes to that you can say "Fastball on the corner of the plate" before the pitcher throws it.
If a double play is turned you can really impress him by saying what kind of double play it is- for example- a 4,6,3 double play or a 3,6,3 double play. How you determine that is by the rank as follows:
Pitcher-1
Catcher-2
1st Baseman-3
2nd Baseman-4
3rd Baseman-5
Shortstop-6
So if a ball is hit to the shortstop for example and he flips it to the 2nd baseman and the 2nd baseman records the out on second and throws to the 1st baseman and the runner is out its a 6,4,3 double play.
If you don't want to go the whole game knowledge route then you can always down some serious hot dogs, take part in all of the chants and wear whatever team he likes' hat...that's always good lol. [ MikeCFT's advice column | Ask MikeCFT A Question ]

Whenever there's a grounder to the shortstop, you MUST say, "That's at least a double!"
Whenever there's a pop up or fly ball, say, "Dig it!"
