My question is about the rule of underage users on the Advicenators website. No need to say that it's for insurance purposes or what-not because I have researched the site for that. What I would like to know, that since you have to be 13, is it allowed to get someone who IS of age to ask the question for you. Everybody has problems, at any age, so I don't get why this would be faulty. Any aditional information is welcomed.
(In case you're all wondering, I am 16.)

It's actually NOT for insurance purposes. It's because there is a federal law (that they really crack down on) that limits the amount of information that an underage (under 13) user can give.

Yes, it is okay for someone to do that, as numerous other people on the site ask questions for friends and such.

Can you ger arrested by using Limewire. Are there any examples?

Limewire in and of itself is legal, downloading music that you do not own a license to download (such as iTunes does) is illegal.

You could, in theory, get arrested for it. Will stealing one or two songs get you arrested? Probably not. I think it's immoral to steal from musical artists or whomever else because you're too cheap and lazy to get the real music, video, software, whatever.

I know its January, and I'm in Britain so usually all the wasps here are dead my now, but yesterday I got stung twice by a wasp, on my finger and on my leg, and it hurt so much! I was just wondering how long wasp stings usually take to stop hurting.
I was at school yeseterday morning when it happened, and the school couldn't put any spray or cream on it to stop it hurting then (apparently they're not allowed to administer anything) so it hasn't been treated or anything.

If you are 100% sure it was a WASP and not a bee, put lemon juice on it, and take a pain reliever, such as Tylenol or Advil (not sure what brands you have over there. Take something with a main ingredient of acetaminophen. I'm not a doctor.)

If it were a bee, just for future reference, you could put baking soda on it.

The reason for this is that wasp stings are very alkaline, and so to neutralize them, you need a strong acid, and vice versa for bees.

I'm 16/f. I'm a virgin. I'm not plannin to have sex til I'm married. I'm just curious how do you get STD/AID?. I know for you to be able to get those diseases if you're havin sex wit a person that's already have it. But WUT IF I don't have it and my bf doesn't have it.. we have sex.. wut would the risk of me and him gettin STD/AID?? can you get STD/AID from havin sex w/o a condom?? or you can only get it if you have sex wit the person wit STD/AID.

If he has no STDs (and has been checked by a doctor), and you have no STDs (and have been checked by a doctor), then you cannot get an STD from unprotected sex.

If you use a condom, you eliminate 98% of these chances of getting something. Some diseases are transmitted through body fluids (saliva excluded), and some are transmitted just by skin-to-skin contact in the infected area. If he has an STD in his mouth, and you kiss him, you could ge tthe same STD in your mouth.

If you are a virgin, however, you aren't necessarily "clean." Unless your mother had a C-section, when you were born, you could have gotten any and all diseases your mother had.

AIDS is the result of HIV and is fatal and much more complex.

ok.. this is going to sound really stupid but i'm deadly serious. i'm 15 and i've never actually got in with a girl. I really need advice because if i like somone and want to kiss them, doing it wrong will probally screw up my chances with them. I'm not ugly and i'm not weird, i've just never actually kissed a girl :/

I, too, am 15 years of age and have never had a serious boyfriend or my first kiss. I'm sure, had I conveyed that I were sluttier, it would have happeend by now, but I have more self respecct than people who are 12 and running around shoving their tongues down people's throats, or even worse, having sex.

Any girl that will dump you because they think you're a bad kisser liked you for all the wrong reasons. You're better than that, I'm sure.

i asked the question about singing earlier. thank you for your help. but i still have a problem...im not at all musical and don't play an instrument or anything so don't really understand. isn't there any other way i can train my ears?

I seriously told you how to read music and how to practice intervals. The Wikipedia article has ways to measure intervals without reading music.

So, my answer is no.

And, I don't really play an instrument either. I'm professional about what I do, annd quite frankly, I expect anyone else that is serious to do the same.

If you want to sing well, LEARN how to read music. Plus, studies have shown that people who read music are smarter than those who don't and their test scores go up.

Next, you need to work on your ear. See, the thing about many poor singers isn't that the quaity of their voice is bad, it is that they are sharp or flat, usually flat. So, by improving the way your brain measures intervals, you will become a better singer. I suggest

i got put in this art class at school, and i'm the only girl in it! there are 2 other freshman guys who i'm kinda friends with but they're like bffs, and there are 3 junior boys who don't even talk to us. and idk i really hate being the only girl in class its soooo awkward but if i drop out of that class, i'll have a study hall by myself and i reallyreallyreally don't want that! help??? oh yea this class is every single day too, so i don't know what to do. but it's fine arts credit and it's something to do! and i rlly like art, but mainly cartoons and stuff not really "design" and stuff we're learning here.

What do you want advice ON, exactly? You don't describe a thing in your closet, and expect us to be psychic and create a fabulous wardrobe for you.

I live in ultra trendy Los Angeles. I wear a lot of kimonos and dresses, sometimes over jeans. I am in love with plain, white Hanes t-shirts over shorts with a thick bracelet pushed up on my arm with cute flats or flip-flops.

If you live somewhere where there are actual seasons, these outfits really aren't practical.

im soooo bad at giving speeches. i dont know why i am. but whenever i get infront of a crowd my voice starts trembleing and my hands start shaking. i practice all the time doing my speech before hand...like to my friends and parents and i do fine. but whenever i get in front of a crowd its like i freak, it feels like im out of breath. even sometimes in class when i get called on to read out of the book i panic and my voice gets all shakey and i mess up on words. i can read fine i just dont no what it is about talking in front of a crowd. Even if i practice tons. any help?

Quite frankly, it's something that you're born with.

I haven't give a speech in a few months, and the speech that I gave was a perusasive speech to a group of classmates. We were allowed to throw things at the speechgiver if they were doing poorly, and a bunch of people were going to throw stuff at me, but then my speech mesmerized them, and so they didn't. I was one of three people to get an A.

I make eye contact with people when I give my speech. You can't just read a piece of paper-what you're talking about has to flow through your blood.

Try acting and performing in plays. I really think that it will help, though I can't put my finger on why.

Today at cheering I got switched to one stunt group to another. So all of a sudden this little immature girl in the group that flys sees that i'm her backspotter and automatically goes "woooah" and turns around, and starts raising her eyebrows and saying something to her other friend thats the front spotter. The front spotter is like "i miss taylor" (the old backspotter) and raises her eyebrows to jen the flyer. This is even before I have started doing the stunt. Well all throughout the stunt i'm doing my best and the two girls just keep whispering. In my head i'm like "OH MY GOSH. DO YOU ACTUALLY THINK I DON'T FLIPPIN' NOTICE YOU?"
So finally i'm so pissed off, after one attempt of saying ever so nicely "if i'm doing something wrong, jsut tell me." So finally I say "You know i can just leave now if you want." and I say it in a pissed off tone. The coach is like "DON'T TALK TO YOUR TEAMMATES LIKE THAT." then she asks what is the problem. I say "I would really appreciate it if they just tell me when i'm doing something wrong so I can be better." My question is do you think I was rude/ a bitch?

My friend Mimi (size 6, but looks like a 4) went to a flea market and a woman was trying to sell her jeans. The vendor says to Mimi in a sheepish voice “I have jeans I am selling. You are a size 10, my daughter is a size 10.” That night when Mimi went home she told her friends what the vendor said and her friends said to her: “The vendor just wants to sell her jeans, she would say the same thing to a size 2.” My question: Do you agree with Mimis friends?

Some brands fluctuate. For example, I am a tiny, petite girl, but at some stores, I wear a size 5 or 7 in jeans. This could have happened to your friend.

However, being a flea market vendor, we just want to get rid of the stuff.

I can envision the seller's motives to be either moral or immoral.

ummm hello,im 13 curently and when i was about 3 my sisters dressed me up as a girl for a joke to show my mom. (she had her girly friends over for thre night) anyway they used ballons for boobs.evr since i just wanted to see wut i would look like as a girl..ive wondered if i would be a prety girl lolz. anyway now that im older i can sneek in there bed room and get there makeup and maybe a tight shirt.im a skater and right now the style here is tight jean so i get girls jeans. thats all taken care of. but i dont kno how to make it look like i actually have boobs wut should i do?and for makeup how do i put it on right?

One of my friends has decided that she wants to run away. She's tired of living with her abusive step dad. She's asked for me to help her go somewhere where nobody will find her, like out of state. We're both only 14... I don't know anything about what to do. She doesn't want me to tell anyone else. What should I say to her? I'm so scared for her! What on earth should I do?

If she is an abusive situtaion, she needs to get out of there immediately. My guess is that she does not make/have enough moey to become emancipated, so she needs to find someone who is willing to become her legal guardian.

After she has that secured, she should call either the police and child protective services. She will most likely need to go to court to prove this whole shenanigan-make sure she gets evidence.

Also, she should talk to someone face to face about this. It really does help to get everything out and in the open.

If she is ever physically abused, she can call 9-1-1, and the police will come. Well, duh.

Ok, so I really really really like this guy at my school. and the other day i went to my friends house and she had his number so we called him 2 times. i kept his number, just in case i wanted to call him and ever talk to him, since i have a huge crush on him haha! anyways, i really want to call him again, just to talk but i am sooooo scared to. when my friend was there, it was no big problem. so, should i call him? or just talk to him at school, which i do all of the time. idk what to do!! because, when my friend and i called him, i think he was kinda in shock because we called, he wasn't expecting it. and today he asked " why were you guys calling me?" and i was just like idk, we just thought we would. so..what should i do?? oh yeah, by the way, he doesn't know i like him. thanks guys!!

I am the conspiring, scheming type. I'm not going to lie.

What I would do (if I had the guts to actually carry through with this, heh) is call a friend and pretend to start a fight with them (a guy friend) and call him to ask for advice. After a little bit, I'd say, "Whatever. I don't care about him anymore, what's up?"

Of course it'd be better if you didn't have to lie. But I can envision this going well with my crush, and I hope you find this helpful!

I recently got almost 9 inches
cut off of my hair and it is not
sitting right on my shoulders.
My problem is I have an oval-long
face, so this cut isn't flattering.

on how to style my newly short hair?
I'm used to long and curly, but curly
doesn't look good this short.
(I also straighten it)

A lot of people I know with short, curly hairleave it curly and pin it up.

If you don't have bangs, get them. As long as you straighten them, they will take height off of your face.
