Everyone is always saying "I hate tanlines" blah blah blah. Is it wierd that I actually like them? Like if you wear a tube top after wearing a bathing suit that ties around your neck, or if you had cris cross straps on your back. I think its kind of like a sign that you tan. idk, I think its kind of cool...is that wierd? I don't like tanning lines after you wear shorts, or a farmers tan...

ok so like i have those type shorts that everyone wears and they have a little cut on the side. Right you know what i am talking about? Well i have a bunch of those. Plus i have long legs with awesome thies and caves. My sister thinks i wear them way to short. I just think that the shorter the skinnier i look. When they are long i look short and fat. Then my sis gets some and she wears them shorter than i do and she is 10!!!!! I brought it up to her and she got p.o.ed! Isn't the reason we wear them short is b/c girls feel like they are sexier? Please help! Atleast now my sis can't blame for wearing them short! help!!!!
Maybe she is influnced and admires you wearing them short? lol, I think its kinda a style compliment. Maybe she wears them short for the same reason you do?

i am SO ugly. i know most people think they're ugly when they aren't, but i AM. i've been called ugly before, i've seen mirrors (unforunately), and they look horrible lol! how can i sort myself out so i can look pretty? my hair is kinda frizzy, i've tried SO many products on it; frizz ease, pantene pro-v, andy collinge, herbal essences, sun silk.. and loads more. anyway, none of them prevented frizz or 'flyaway' hair. i have straighteners that aren't really all that good, worth about 60 quid. i want some ghds but i'd have to wait until like august to get them, for my birthday (unless it's worth spending my bank account on them?). and then there's the fact that i don't wear make-up. i haven't got a clue how to put it on. i don't even wear stuff like lipgloss, i'd probably get it all over the place, and if i tried eyeliner/mascara i'd end up poking my eye out! lol! so anyway i'm clueless when it comes to make-up, any tips on how to use it/the best make up to buy would be so helpful! i've worn lipgloss before, but it just feels so.. greasy, and uncomfortable, it was from the body shop i think.. anyway, if you can help me look pretty instead of an ugly duckling, i'll be really grateful. thankyou!! xo

My family is extremely well off money wise. And so are the kids that go to my high school but my family kind of has more money then most of the people in our neighborhood.
Well, I've been talking to a few girls at school about our prom dresses and theirs are around 200-500 dollars. Well, I found the perfect dress but it's 1,500 dollars. I'm supposed to go buy it this weekend but there's a problem. It's not that we can't afford the dress, because we can and my parents think that it's a good amount to pay for it. It's that I don't want to be the only girl there that paid over a thousand dollars for a Prom dress. I don't want people to talk about it or anything.
Should I get the dress even though it's 3 or 4 times more than what everyone else is going to pay for theirs?
Well, I would buy it anyway honestly. It doesn't matter how much it costs, as long as you like it, and if you can afford it, what's the big deal? Yeah, you might intimidate some people, but just don't brag about it. I know how you feel.

Okay, don't be self concious about it. I know its easier than it sounds but alot of girls have this problem. Guys only notice if you point it out. I have a friend and she has hairy arms but no one notices, I didn't until she pointed it out.

every1- i have a huggeeeee prob with my school dress code. for gradutiation and confirmation were expected to dress up. as for the dress, it has to cover shoulders! ive looked EVERYWHERE for a semi-formal dress with some kind of sleeves...plz tell me where to find one! 14/8th grade/f
Try David's Bridal, Nordstrom, or any formal place that sells wedding dresses, I've seen them in ads because there was a thing in I believe..Seventeen? About a Mormon girl who couldn't show her shoulders or w/e and they found nice dresses for her there.

I need help with my hair. I just got it cut with an Ashlee Simpson style and I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix it (straight) and also I want to do the bang thing she does. Where she pulls them up and it looks like a big bump on her head. (I know it sounds crazy but I have a pic if u dont know what i'm talkin about.
Okay I kinda know, I've tried this alot. You have to have a good clip that will hold alot of hair and then clip your bangs back normal like that, if you get what I mean. Then you can take ur finger and poof it a little bit lol =]

The most important makeup tip ever: DO NOT OVERDO IT.
You want a natural look. I'd reccomend Tutti Dulce lipgloss by Bath and Body Works [$10, but can be on sale] in Angel Food Cake, especially if you have light eyes, it brings out your natural complexion. I'd recommend a light goldish brown eyeshadow, don't overdo it tho and eyeliner if you know how to apply it correctly =]
Neutrogena makes a great coverup/foundation!

Models are airbrushed. Watch the special celebrities without makeup lol. Besides, you don't have to be a model to look and feel beautiful.

Grr, I hate this! My family hates who I am and what I am. They want me to be just like a prep and shit! I so totally don't want that. One of my best friend's brother died in a car crash because of street racing. Tomorrow I am going to his funeral with our friends and to be there for my friend. I really dont know what to wear and what I'm supposed to do there. Do I bring a gift. I feel really bad. He was onlt 17 years old. Please help.
I am soo sorry to hear about this. I'd reccomend wearing something plain, nothing too bright, maybe a white shirt and black pants, nothing to bring attention to yourself. I'm sure you being there will be enough, but you might feel better sending flowers to the family, or giving a small yet thoughtful donation in his name, to a fund.
