i wanna get a lip ring but i think ppl will think weird of me because im the type to wear abrecrombie everyday. can sum1 tell me the pros n cons about liprings ?

To tell you the truth you shouldn't care what everyone is going to think. There is no law saying you can't wear a lipring if you shop at abercrombie.
You should definatly go for it if you're sure you want it done. I'm not 100% sure on the pros and cons because I've never had it done my self but I'd say one pro is definatly the fact that it looks nice and one of the cons I'm certain of is that it can get infected easily.

Maybe instead of a lip ring you can get a nose ring or your belly button peirced. If you decide to get a nose right get a little tiny one<< i think those are sorta cute. I dont think you should get your lip peirced because it hurts really bad and their are numerous infections you could get. I hoped i help make your decision

*If you decide you're sick of it,when you take it out it might leave a scar.
*It can get infected.
*It will probably hurt.

DONT GET ONE you can get and infection and the person who will do might punch the vein in yourlip causing you to have some serious problemos.

Hey, you don't have to label yourself like that. Just because you wear "preppy" clothes doesn't mean you're not allowed to get a lip ring. So don't worry about what others think. If they give you shit because you don't fit under one stereotypic category anymore, then they're retarded.
Just make sure that you know what you're in for if you get a lip ring. Make sure that you won't get tired of it after a while, and make sure that you're responsible enough to take care of it and all that.

I have thought about this myself.At the end of the day its up to you i would have it done but thats me. As for the cons it looks cool but not all employers will be to happy about it, there is always a risk with piercings of infection if it is not kept properly clean. Dont just go to a random shop, make sure you have looked around and found a recommend shop. good luck!
