Grr, I hate this! My family hates who I am and what I am. They want me to be just like a prep and shit! I so totally don't want that. I'm a full on metal head and I usually never go to church since I made my communion. They listen to Ja Rule and all this pop bitches like Britney Spears and Hilary Duck...and freaking spanish songs. I hate that shit and like I don't know how to tell them to fuck off and let me be who I want to be. Some one help and no fucking lables please, no freaks or else I'll laugh in your face!

Let me just point one thing out and don't get me wrong- I'm not trying to be a bitch. You said "I'm a metal head skater punk goth chick" and then you said "Some one help and no fucking lables please, no freaks or else I'll laugh in your face!" As far as I'm concerned, skater, punk, and goth are all <b>lables</b>. Anyway, talk to them tell them that you don't want to be a "prep" and that it's not your style at all. I can guarentee your parents think it's just a phase and that you'll be disgusted by people that shop at Hot Topic eventually. For now, let them know that it's your decision to dress the way you want and let you be YOU. Tell them that trying to change you into something you're not isn't going to make things any easier for them. I used to think I was so bad ass shopping at Hot Topic and crap, but then I realized it wasn't me. Although when I did dress like that, my mom had a problem with it and would try to get me to dress like in her words "a normal child" by buying me things from Abercrombie (I hate that store) and other places like that. I told her to stop doing it so she gave in and for Christmas I'd get the Hot Topic gift cards (yay for me at the time). Tell them to let you be who you are. Them telling you what to do, how to dress, who to be is just going to make you rebel against them. I'm sure you're parents don't want you to be a rebel child. Let them know how you feel. Parents are a pain in the ass, but talking to them is worth a shot.

Like everyone else was saying, you are who are! Nobody can change that, be who YOU want to be, not who others want to see. So many people have trouble finding themselves, and your lucky you know who you are. Keep your head up, and don't let people tell you who to be. Tell them to accept you for who you are, and you're not going to change whether they like it or not! Goodluck.

You need to have a serious talk with them and tell them that your you, and you dont need a label...and that they need to learn to respect who you are.
