How would i make or find the url for a picture thats saved on my computer? I wanna use a picture for my background or sidebar for my colum but i cant figure out how to.

O.K., Im thinking about downloading AIM onto my computer, but Im afraid it will give me a virus. If I get a virus my parents will KILL me! Does anyone have it and can tell me whether its ever given you a virus or someone you know? Thanks! All my friends have it and they've never gotten viruses before, but I need to make sure. THANKS!
AIM isnt bad on viruses.. just dont get AIM+. It doesnt work very well, and I believe that is virus causing. In people's profiles, don't click any links, unless you know for a fact that it leads to an 'Extended Profile' (you can do this by moving your mouse of the link, and seeing where it will lead you, BUT dont click it).. another big thing is going into chatrooms, dont go into them unless its a chatroom you, or a friend of your started with people you know.
But other then that, AIM is good.

hey... my boyfriend and i just had a big talk and he wants to be in "time-out"
i have no clue what that means just that theres no kissing at school (so he said). now i dont know how to act around him or what to say to him

Time out is like a hands-off relationship, basically.. and if thats not what he means by it, then just keep it hands-off and let him make the first move..

ok i just found out that we might have to move, and if we do i wont be going to the same school. now heres the problem, we dont have the money to move or to stay in the house we have right now. so i dont want to move and im to young to work any where really.so what should i do?????????
Yard sales.. babysitting... doing yard work for other people, like raking or mowing their lawn.. fundraisers.. there are endless things you can do to help out.. it will take a lot of work though, you cant just expect the money to come to you..

for two years now i have been having white discharge my mum started at 16 and im 13 but i still think im going to start my period,
I go swimming every day which means i would have to where a tampon,where do you insert it, does it hurt and how often should you change it?

A period lasts about 3-5 days usually, sometimes longer for beginners.. Its occurs every 26 days, but once again thats when your period is regular.. when it starts coming it usually is irregular,
If I were you, I wouldnt worry about it until it actually comes, which is usually over night..most of the time.. No it doesnt hurt.. you should probaly change it every couple hours... I wouldnt worry about it, before you go swimming just check it.. if you're clear, then you are fine..and where to insert it, just read the box..it explains how and all..

i downloaded animation shop 3 and it works really well. anyway i`ll spend a long time on an icon and when i go to download it, some of the letters are erased or things are unproportional. how do i get this to stop?
The letters are getting cut off because the icon is probaly too big.. 48 by 48.. is what the size of an icon is.. if you have 50 by 50.. things will get cutt off.. you know? .. so make the box a tad bit smaller.. and everything should work..

I just got my report card this past friday. It said that my grade point average is 3.95 which is really good. but when i started look at what i got (A A-) it said I had straight A's, A-'s A+'s and I was confused. I get to see my grade a week before they come out, and my science teacher said i was getting a B- then, on the report card it said A+...i don't understand that..can someone explain?

maybe it was a weighted class... like some advanced classes are weighted so that if in reality you got a B-.. it will rais it to an A-... you might have raised your grade a little bit too.. who knows.. I would talk to your teacher.. it could be off..

OK i was at school to day and i saw 1 of my friends hitting this other 6th grader with his jacket. When i told him to stop he turned around and hit me as hard as he could with the jacket.... encluding the zippers and strings. He hit me so hard he left a huge bruse and its been red for a while. My question is this..... is that concidered harassment? the problem is i dont wanna tell because he is a friend of mine. thanx!!!!!

Hey! I got my teacher this awesome gift for the end of the year, and I want to make it from the whole class. I spent $25 on it, and I want everyone in te class to pay $1 to 'chip in'. Our teacher is rarely absent, and she never leaves the room. how can I distract her in order to get the $$$?
During gym or lunch.. or in between classes.. get a couple fo your friends to spread it amongst the class.. just be like 'Can you chip in a dollar for a present for the teacher".. this way if she does find out she still doesnt know what it is..
and by telling your friends to spread the word will look less suspicious.

Just shorts and a t-shirt..you can get them like anywhere.. tight shirts would make you look slutty since I'm guessing you're working with younger kids.. Nothing showy.. it doesnt matter, i mean kid dont really care about how nice and expensive their counselor's (or whatever your job is) clothes are.. to be honest..

i decided i need to get into shape. so today i did 100 sit-ups (within 15 minutes.. i know, that's a LONG time =(..). is that too much to start with? does anyone have any other good exercising tips, for your stomach? (besides sit-ups and crunches).
also, can you do sit-ups by laying down and then going up, instead of bending your legs? Because i don't bend my legs.. so maybe it's not considered a sit-up.

Um. You shouldnt do sit ups everyday..no 100 isnt too much to start with it you do them in like 25 sit up intervals..if you want you can do 150 sit ups everyday doing 25-50 at a time, then take like a 2 minute break..
And you're supposed to bend your legs so they dont move. And when they arent bent, they do move and help you with your sit-up, which does next to nothing for your stomache.. try putting your legs on a bed or something and lay on the floor and do then..they work pretty well.

hey evryone! this is kind of a weird question, but i need help. see, i write HORRIBLE stories! it's not because i don't have a good imagination or anything, just that i always have a bad time starting (how to start, WHAT to start on, etc.). then, when i finally do, i think up this awesome story, but then i can't stop! i have so many ideas, that in the end, since i don't have time to write it all down (my awesome story) i end up having to end it with something quick and dumb. so i have a great beginning, and a very detailed middle, then in the end i write the first and quickest thing that pops into my mind and that kills the story and it sucks. so how can i find a way to start a story in the least amount of time, and how do i control all of my ideas so that it doesn't take too long so that my story doesn't suck?
When you do come up with an idea.. put it on a web diagram thing.with the circles..and like.. go by the web, add a little more though when you right the story..but not too much..just follow the web as if it were the bible.. (sorry if you arent relgious) ..but web diagrams help a lot.

Its normal..the white stuff is discharge..and when your 16 and dont have your period, then you should start worrying then.. usually once you're around 105 pounds is when it will start..

Well. you're going to get a first impression no matter what.. if you hang with the girls, then the guys will think "Okay, she might be lesbian"..if you hang with the guys the girls are going to think "Wow, what a slut"..basically, but after 2 weeks maybe that will go away..and just try to find a 'clique' with guys and girls in it, it will make it easier..
and yes I agree, guys are much easier to be friends with. they dont care about looks, weight, nails..that is if they are just friends..

ok, my mum stopped smoking for a good few years now and i was so proud of her but now she's started again because shes under so much pressure (she does an art course at college) it also puts pressure on me and she says she understands that but its something she wants to do and i support that. She said that she will stop smoking at the summer and i was fine with that but ive not to tell anyone thats shes smoking again, but now shes smoking all the time and i feel sick around her but i CANT tell her that. Well, if you really dont mind her smoking, but you mind her smoking all the time..be like "I dont mind you smoking, but just dont smoke infront of me, all right?"..or something like that..and if you want to joke about it be like "Do you have a cigarette? Well the differences have all ready been mentioned..and it was also said that they make acne worse, but when you wear it, just make sure you wash ALL of it off before you go to bed. Or it does get worse.
