harassment?

Question Posted Thursday April 14 2005, 5:10 pm

OK i was at school to day and i saw 1 of my friends hitting this other 6th grader with his jacket. When i told him to stop he turned around and hit me as hard as he could with the jacket.... encluding the zippers and strings. He hit me so hard he left a huge bruse and its been red for a while. My question is this..... is that concidered harassment? the problem is i dont wanna tell because he is a friend of mine. thanx!!!!!

I suppose it couold be considered harassment, especially if he does it a lot. It's really more of an assault. If you don't want to tell on him don't. I would let him know that you won't put up with it though.

Yes, this is considered harassment because you were hit physically by a jacket and its zipper and strings. If someone hits you, that's considered harassment no matter what. If this guy is your friend, then he really isn't a good one because he wouldn't have done this to you. You really do need to tell someone because he will just do this to other people and you don't deserve him as your friend.

you can get him in trouble big time! no one is suppose to do that to you...unless is freakin self defense...which he had nothing to defend from because all you said was "stop"...so yah, you can get him in trouble and i think its abusment or w/e..but since he's your friend i understand...but you should've hit him back or something...shiuuuu xoxo effy

yes.your friend?a friend wouldn't hit you!Unless he's on some wacky medication you should find a better friend who doesn't hit you for standing up for what's right.

Some friend he is.. yeah it is considered harassment..

well thats all you really asked, I personally think you should find new friends, like friends that dont need to beat up a 6th grader to feel cool.. but thats my opinion
