hair dye

Question Posted Monday March 14 2005, 4:19 pm

I want to experiment with highliting my hair. Are there are specific home kits i can use that are really easy and not too hard to follow? Also if there is a certain kind that the color fades away over time? (i've heard of kits that do tat) that'd b good too..if anyone knows some good products that'd be great, thanks.

I use revlon frost and glow. You put on this plastic cap that comes in box. Pull a little hair through the marked holes...real easy. You may have to have someone help you do the back.

Herbal Essenses has a new highlighting kit that you can buy at any store that sells hair dying kits. I have never highlighted my hair, I only have dyed it so I can't help with a kind that makes the color fade away over time.

Well one thing is if you are going to dye it darker than your natural hair color it is most likely to stay in longer than if you lighten it up. Really the best way is to go to a hair stylist and get it done professionally because the ones at like Rite Aide or wwhatever is pretty crappy. But i'm sure if you buy one from there they all pretty much work the same. so just get the prettier or more professional box!

Try a herbal essences highlighting kit. They are really east to apply to hair. cuz all you do is put the highlighting kit stuff in the comb and put it in your hair. They dont fade away for a really long time..like a year or 2..unless they grow out when your hair grows. make sureto get a color that blends with your hair well. Like black w/brown or brown w/blond or brown w/red..or mix and match them your self! Good Luck!! Hope i Helped!!
