hey so i had mono a few weeks ago im almost over it now, how long do I need to wait to make out with my boyfirend again????

I just got over mono.
The incubation period is 30-50 days (meaning that it takes that long from when you get it til when you get sick), so chances are he might have it already.
My doctor told me to wait 5 weeks.

I am a waitress and have really long hair, so i have to wear my hair in a pony tail at work. Basic pony tails are boring, so i was wondering what are some cute, more interesting pony tail styles and how do i do them. I tried the pony tail with a poof in front, but haven't be able to get it to look decent and stay. Anyone know an easy way to do that? Thanks.

You could do a high pony, low pony, bun, messy bun, braid, wear a headband, do barrettes. Depending on how strict they are, maybe 2 pigtails or braids?

hey, advicenators!

so my best friend's boyfriend and i both want to throw my best friend a surprise sweet 16 party!

we have comprised the guest list and pretty much all the little details and it's going to be at her house. our other friends will kick her out of the house and take her shopping or something and we'll invite a few people over to decorate the place, then invite all the people before she gets home and surprise her! both him and i will stay late to clean up the place so that she has NO STRESS and can only concentrate on having a GREAT time.

the way we're organizing it is that we're going to have a facebook event and allow people to wall post what they want to bring (e.g., x napkins, x plates, etc.) or have the option of donating so many dollars in cash. there will be ~ 30 people there so it's not THAT huge of a party. her birthday is in january.

does anyone have any suggestions for the surprise party? there is no theme and everything will be via facebook event except the RSVPing will be "CALL THIS NUMBER TO RSVP:" and give my cell number.

I heard that Sodium Lauryl Sulfate causes cancer. I noticed that it's in my shampoos and toothpastes (I'm sure lots of other things too). I was reading that using shampoo with Sodium Lauryl Sulfate in it will cause brain and skin cancer. It also said that Sodium Lauryl Sulfate may also cause cancer in the mouth, throat, and bones (teeth). I do not want any type of cancer!

I KNOW this ingredient is used to create the foaming action in other products, but I don't understand why someone would put such a dangerous product in things we use daily. I am really hoping that this whole thing is a hoax/myth about Sodium Lauryl Sulfate causing cancer, but I have no idea and am getting frightened!

If it does cause cancer, I definately want to find products not containing Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, but I've been searching through the stores with no avail. I don't want cancer because I washed my hair every day!

So, does Sodium Lauryl Sulfate actually cause cancer? If so, can anyone recommend products that do not have Sodium Lauryl Sulfate included so that I can avoid such a cancer risk?

If you mean the powder foundation, I use it and love it- even more than the expensive ones I used to have. It makes your skin look glow-y and amazing, is natural but totally evens out your skin tone without looking fake and cakey.

are caffeine pills like safe and everything? i took one and it worked well and i didnt crash or anything! i was a little surprised because i was a bit nervous before i took it about what would happen but my friend took it (hes the one who gave me one) and the day before my boyfriend had and the only thing that happened to him was he was super hyper but thats expected lol. he kinda crashed but i didnt. anyways i was just wondering the risks and stuff because i dont want anything bad to happen! thanks :]

Really, really don't do it again. I used to be addicted to them, they're horrible. Caffeine doesn't give you a happy high, you just get jittery, paranoid, feel absolutely horrible (I almost passed out a few times at work because of it). Really bad for your heart, and you can develop a dependence really quickly- I started taking one every few days to stay awake for work and before I knew it, if I didn't have caffeine, I had a massive migraine. (I remember chugging 3 bottled cokes on my fifteen minute break just to make it go away- gross!) It also makes you super starving, to the point where you feel sick, all the time. It flushes water out of your body (bad thing), so you're dehydrated and bloated. And they will make you crash....I know someone who took someone to stay up all night and study before finals, then she feel asleep during the actual final.

Please just try to get sleep, so much better for you.

As for makeup, make it natural. A little concealer, set it with powder, some blush for a glowing look. Very, very subtly line your eyes using the thinnest line you can, then smudge. You're going for feminine, not hooker. Use a champagne colored shadow on your browbone and inner corner of your eyes, curl your lashes, apply mascara. For your lips, use a subtle shade of lipstick (something peachy or subtle pink), pat it on. Blot your lips with a tissue, repeat 3 times for a lip stain that will last all night. Apply a yummy flavored lip balm over it, like Smackers Strawberry, just in case. ;-)

Apply a SMALL amount of subtle perfume...try Victoria's Secret Vanilla Lace.

It's not really "from" anything, it's in a lot of things. Kind of hard to explain, but you say it after someone says something that could sound sexual. So, like, if someone says, "it's so long!", you'd say "that's what she said" (meaning in bed, not referring to anyone in general).
