Caffeine doesn't give you a happy high, you just get jittery, paranoid, feel absolutely horrible (I almost passed out a few times at work because of it). Really bad for your heart, and you can develop a dependence really quickly- I started taking one every few days to stay awake for work and before I knew it, if I didn't have caffeine, I had a massive migraine. (I remember chugging 3 bottled cokes on my fifteen minute break just to make it go away- gross!) It also makes you super starving, to the point where you feel sick, all the time. It flushes water out of your body (bad thing), so you're dehydrated and bloated. And they will make you crash....I know someone who took someone to stay up all night and study before finals, then she feel asleep during the actual final.
