I have Bipolar 1 Disorder. I hate taking all these medications and always going to doctors appointments, but life is too short to let mental illness get the better of me.


Often times life is a challenge, and nobody knows that better than me. I wake up wondering if this is going to be a day my illness overpowers my meds, and either sends me flying like a bat out of hell, or leaves me laying on the couch like a wet dish rag.


Thank all that is good in the world that I have an excellent support system at home.

Iam 19 years old and i live with my cousin becouse iam not able to live on my own becouse of physical disabilities i have and i don't get along with my mom and when i lived with my mom i would always do stupid stuff to get myself in trouble and iam sick and tired of getting into trouble and iam afraid if i go to my mom's for even just one day i will get my ass into some kimd of trouble becouse of the people i hang around with at my mom's i'll give you some kind of idea about what my sister and her friends and people that she hangs around with have got me to do that i wouldn't have done before.

Well, I know this probably isn't what you want to hear, but you make your own choices in this life. When your sister talks you into things, you choose to allow her to do so. You CAN choose to say no, and stand firmly behind that decision.

Don't let your mom get the short end of the stick, here. That's not fair to her at all. Your mom wants to see you, and I wager you want to see her.
So go do it, and remember YOU are responsible for YOUR choices. Say NO.

well im 18 female. and i had unprotected sex a month ago with my bf and a week later i ended up with a sore throat the was hurting soo bad that i finally went to the doctor for them to look at it.. the doctor thought it was strept throat butt they took a swab of it and it wasnt strept troat. it was either mono or gonoreaha. but they culdnt tell me for sure. so they gave me a shot and 4 pills to take and so after 4 days it went a away.. but a couple of days later i started to get my period but it was 4 days late.. and i took a pregnany test it came out clearly negative.. but after that i started feeling nausas and sick and i got heartburn and i had loss of appeitie cause i couldnt eat and i lost weight.. i went to the doctor and got tested for hiv an stds. they all came back negative. but after that i still felt symptoms of pregnacy..im feeling more tired then usual and my body kinda aches and i just dont wanna move at all. and my head hurts so bad sometimes. so since it has been a month now and i feeling all theses symptoms. could i be pregnant? cause im not getting any better

Since you had your period, I would guess chances are slim. However, false negatives are more likely than false positives on pregnancy tests. If you take them incorrectly or too early, they can show negative.

Best thing you can do is just take another test. If you still have concerns, make another appointment with your doctor.

Yes. Farts stink because the gas moves through your digestive track, whereas burps come back up from the stomach.

i coloured my hair black with a semi permanent yesterday. but i can see it fading away a little.. is there like a special shampoo, or tips to stop it fading??

Semi-permanent is meant to fade out. It's meant to fade with each wash, eventually washing out.
The best way to make the color last longer is to wash less often. Rather than washing daily, wash every other day.

My stomach aches for a while and then it stops, then later it aches again.
When I poop my poop is all watery, and it's been going on for 2 days.
Anyone know how to cure this?
P.S.: I ate in a not-so-goood restaurant that I had a bad feeling about and after a few hours it started aching...

Ok so ive been seeing these 2 girls over teh last few weeks and im close to both of them and ive found that i like one alot more than the other the only catch is that ther really close friends and for some reason they havent told each other about me and i dont know how to tell the one with out ruining there friendship cause she's eventually gonna see us together.

If they are willing to let a guy put a wedge in their friendship, that's on them, not you.

Why not just get it over with? Come right out to the one girl and tell her it's not working with her and you are going to date the other one.
She will find out eventually, anyway, so might as well be forward and honest about it.

Okay, so I dated this guy... A. Well, A wasn't who I thought he was. My friend told me he was trying to get into my pants. It turns out, she was right... AGAIN. Well, now, A is stalking me and being very rude. I wanted to stay friends, but now he won't be my friend and he's being really mean. I broke up with him a this dance and I was really scared, though. Everyone told me, since I wouldn't dance with him, he looked like he wanted to hurt me and stuff. I got scared, thinking if he tried to get his hands in my pants, then he wouldn't hesitate to hurt me, right?! I mean, I've had abusive boyfriends before, so I believed them and had my friend do it for me... And, he left the dance. Ever since, he's been saying rude things to me and being really rude. Of course, I ignored him, but now it's getting REALLY HARD to ignore him. What should I do?

There is no law against being rude.
However, if he is stalking you or harassing you, then that is against the law.
Talk to the police, explain the situation, and find out from them what is the best thing to do.

does bleaching your hair damage it a lot. my mom really doesn't want me to bleach it because she says it will never be the same. i have super soft hair. will it have any long term damages on my hair? will it make my hair less soft? :/

Any chemical you put in your hair damages it.
Perms and hair coloring permanently damage your hair in effort to curl or color it permanently.

Outside of perms, bleaching, highlighting, color stripping, or putting blonde hair coloring in your hair are the worst things you can do to it.

Your mom is right- bleach/color/perm your hair, it will never be the same.

Long term damages? None on the new growth if you allow it to grow out, of course, but the only way to get your hair back to it's natural color/healthy state is to grow it out and cut off the chemically processed hair.

As for bleaching and keeping super soft hair, your best bet would be to get highlights. With highlights, you don't have roots blazing out at you that cause you to have to constantly re-bleach your hair.
With regular conditioning and weekly deep conditioning treatments, you can re-soften the hair. But that does NOT reverse the damage.

If you bleach all of your hair and want to keep it what way, re-bleaching will eventually cause your hair to be dry, brittle, breaking, split ended, etc.

ok so im trying to decide what to major in, for college. I am really intested in animals, and would really like to major in animal sciences such as; wildlife conservation, veterinariay med, and other related things. The problem is that I'm not very good when it comes to science. I took biology freshman year and got a B, but i have trouble in this subject and I am afraid that if I major in these topics i will struggle all through out college maybe even flunk out. This really is the only topics i am intested in... is it a hopeless cause to try and major in one one these subjects???

You could major in them and if trouble arises, get a tutor to help you.

My mom and dad are in a lot of debt right now. It's really hard on them I can tell so I try to not complain over stupid stuff anymore. Well my mom is taking it the hardest I think. I mean school's comming around and we see those adds for back to school clothes and stuff and I can tell she feels bad because we won't be able to do that this year. There are a lot of other things we can't swing anymore and I really want to tell her it's ok, and that I don't need any new things. But it seems like when I tell her that she just gets upset. Maybe I should just leave them alone? It's just nerve wracking to wake up and see my parents stressing over bills and things, and I can't do anything or say anything. What do I do?

Leave them alone. Your mom probably gets upset because she knows it's a problem between her and your dad, and has nothing to do with you.
However, say your mom takes you school shopping. That is when you'd say something like, "Oh, I don't really need that sweater/shirt/etc."

but my bf (my parents dnt know he is) wants to go to vegas with me for 3-4 days. he already bought the tickets and its for august.

Okay so here is the story.

I have been dating the same guy since I have been a teenager. We have been dating for 9 years. I just moved in with him. I really cannot complain about our relationship. The only thing is we are complete opposites. Just sometimes I wish I could know what it would be like with someone else. The only problem is, is that I am afraid to give him up.

So the problem is that I have been in a band for a year. I really like one of my band mates. We have a lot in common and we flirt really bad with one another. There is an obvious attraction here. We complain about our other halfs to each other all the time. Well he proposed months ago and just bought a house. It seems like he is second guessing himself as well.

I do not think that either one of else will ever say anything to each other. I just do not want to make things wierd and I do not know if I would want to leave my bf. Maybe I would leave if my band mate felt the same way. Im just confused. This situation is just too crazy.That is it in short. He does tons of stuff to let me know he is interested, so do I, but no one is saying anything!
What do I do?

The only thing I can say to you is this:
Ask yourself if this guy is really worth throwing away your 9 year relationship.
Would you have even considered these thoughts of being with someone else had this guy not came along?
