My real name is Christiana, but most people call me "Nina". I am 18 going on 19. I enjoy helping people--just not when they are still in middle school and asking about love or sex. I do alot of painting on canvas, creative writing, reading, and listening to music. I'm pretty mellow. I love sci fi and fantasy based books and movies. I love medieval history--really I like most history but sometimes I wish I could live in a time period that didn't deal with so many technological complexities. I guess you could say I love the simple things in life...

okay. i really need my braces off. like i got them in 6th grade. and im now a freshman! i dont wear my elastics, and if i wear them they'll come off. and to those that have already had elastics and braces, approx. how long will it take for my teeth to not have an over bite anymore? i really need my braces off!!!!

I've had my braces for six years. 5th-11th. I'm about to get mine off...I learned that I just have to be better about wearing my bands even though they do fall out. I know it sucks but really...take my advice.

My bf didn't kiss me for a long time because he was nervous and didn't want to do anything wrong. We finally did, and it was great since I care about him but otherwise, I didn't really like it. I don't really know how to describe what I didn't like. He opens mouths mouth too much and it's slobbery and wet. Kind of passionate, but wiping off my mouth afterward is definetly not. It reminds he of getting licked by a dog or something. Yuck... I don't know what to do because we've kissed several times since that and they all seem the same. Should I say anything? I don't want to hurt his feelings because I know how scared he is of doing "wrong". Please help!!! I care about him so I don't want kissing, a display of affection, to be what gives us problems. That just seems silly to me.

Tell him you want to play a game. Make him close his eyes and do whatever you do as exact as possible. Kiss him the way you want him to kiss you, if he does it his sloppy way tell him thats not how you did it. He'll be more conscious about it there after.

I would say babysitting, then again if I had kids I would want someone older than you to take care of them. Ask your parents if you can do anything for them around the house.

I'm 17. I've been dating my boyfriend for 4 months now. He's 24, and things couldn't be better. One problem. He's married to another woman. I had NO idea he was married when we got together 4 months ago. Had I known then what I know now, I wouldn't have ever kept up contact with him. So, I know, but he doesn't know I know. And I'm guessing the wife has NO idea about his infedility. I've known this for about two weeks. I taped us "in the act", in case I ever needed proof.



Question is: how should I go about handling this?

Should I bring it up to HIM first?

Should I somehow tell his WIFE? And if you think I should do that, in what form of communication do you think would be best?

Do you think I should just end the relationship suddenly without mentioning it to him, and then stay the hell away, or what?



I would like to know if MY significant other were up to no good. I know it's not so much my business, but I would have trouble living with myself knowing I kept such a drastic secret from a woman who has every right to know. :(

Can you really trust a guy that wouldn't even tell you he's married? You should inform his wife that hes been seeing you...its not fair for her to be left in the dark about it. Depending on how close you are to eighteen maybe you should wait a little longer to tell anyone. You definitely need to hint around the subject when talking to this guy see what he says.

Ever since i met my friend Sean* he has always been suicidal. At least twice a month he would say he wanted to kill himself, yet it would never happen. We'd always see him the next day. He was over emotional, the most over emotional guy I'd ever met.
We'd get in a fight once a week about something stupid, he'd insult his friends all the time but if you were to insult him he'd get this look on his face like he was going to hit you really hard.
We got in a big fight and i turned him into the guidance office at my school for planing to commit suicide to get him back for the fight and what he did to me. He knew it was me who told and went off on me for being a bad person. I didn't know what to say to him anymore, every reason i could think of why he shouldn't kill himself he had something to contradict it, he was hard headed and wouldnt listen to me easy. I dont know if you have ever had anyone tell you that they are going to commit suicide over and over again and put the stress on you to talk them out of it, but it is more stressful than anything i've ever experienced. And going through that once a month wasn't helping my already stressful life, now that you have the story, i'd like to ask you if you have any advice as to what to say to him to make him change his mind and want to live his life. I mean there are so many kids who have cancer, or they are disabled who would do anything to be a normal kid like him, yet he just wants to throw it all away. Guidance has no advice on what to say and either does my therapist. What can be done to prevent this?

Honestly, if someone is really going to commit suicide they won't tell anyone. Sounds to me like he just wants your pity for his "oh so horrible life". Don't feel sorry for him ---thats just what he wants to make himself feel better.

What is the best possible way, form, time, and place to ask a girl to be your girlfriend? Well, maybe not the BEST, but a pretty good way. I have a feeling that this girl I know and talk to a lot likes me, and I like her. I'm 15/M, and she's 14/F. Thanks! ^^

If you know her pretty well, buy her a flower with a note attatched (I know its cheesy...) (or even a stuffed animal!) We, (girls) love this sorta thing. Make sure you include a couple of things that you really like about her in the note...but try not to sound obsessed.

If you and your boyfriend barely talk--and yet you can talk to this other guy freely who do you think you are more COMPATIBLE with? Its important to date people you can really talk to for hours on end. If I were you I would try to get out of your current relationship as quick as possible (to avoid any avoidable extra hurt feelings) and get to know this other boy better.

soemone i kno died and im really bad at dealing with it its been awhile and i still get thoose days that i just miss them so much is there anyway i can cope better?has this happened to you?if so howd u deal?

My brother died four months ago. I think of him at the most random times, I miss him more than anything. I cope by looking through pictures of the two of us, eventually it will help me "let go". I've also lost two BEST FRIENDS to drunk driving accidents (over a year ago) and I still miss them from time to time also. You just have to take it one step at a time and eventually it won't hurt as much.

okay well lately the area around my vagina has been really itchy. like since firday (today is wensday). its like really sore and pinker than usual. i told my mom but she didnt think anything of it. she thought it was a reaction to the soap so i tried the kind i used before and it still is like this. before my discharge was just white but now its like yellow and smells gross. should i go see a doctor and if so what do they do? and what should i do/not do before going?

I am not a doctor, but you may have a UTI. Not too much of a big deal but if you don't go to the doctor it will just get worse. Drinking cranberry juice really helps.

On sunda is my boyfriends little sisters birthday party. It will be the first time I have ever met his parents! I want them to know I am a really nice girl and that I love there son alot. What kind of things can I do to show them that I am really nice and that I will treat there son well. I love him and I want to be with him for ever!

Well for one, you don't want to be TOO nice, parents especially can see right through that. As nervous as you are you really do just have to be yourself. Tell them how much you enjoy being around their son and that they have done a good job raising him--they would really appreciate hearing that.

1. Which is worse for you, cigars or cigarrettes?

3. Does smoking have a major impact on your voice, or is it only slight?
4. Recently, I tried to stop, and I threw a bitch fit at my friends.. I just went crazy! Was that an impact of the cigs? Am I addicted?

1. cigarettes are worse for you, with cigars you arent actually "inhaling".
2.I started at thirteen and quit at the age of 15.
3.Unless you are a chain smoker it shouldnt have a major impact on your voice.

My boyfriends birthday is coming up and I have no clue what to get him! I've asked him for some ideas but he doesn't give me any good ones. Any Ideas????

Well what I did for my boyfriend (out of the blue) was I got one of those small "treasure chest" from an arts and crafts store. Then I cut paper into about 100 small rectangles and wrote memories/ reasons I love him. Baking him a cake or batch of cookies could never hurt either (:

Are boxers a good dog to have as a family pet? I want one, but I have 2 little ones at home (2years & 6 Mo.) would a boxer be a wise decision?

Boxer are gentle and fun loving with adults and children, although they are wary of strangers.
My niece and nephew (ages 3 and 1 1/2) have a boxer and love him, majority of the time he is very gentle with them.

I know this isn't a "hip-hop" dancing movie but Dirty Dancing is a "classic" for that sort of thing.
