Ok, I've been going to private school for 9 years, and for the first time I will be going to public. I'm really freaked out. Is public school really as bad as everyone says? No. People make public school seem sooooo horrible. I went to a private school for 3 years and when I went to public school I was totally freaked too. But it's fine. People like public school more than they like private I'll tell you that!! Hope this helps!!!

i was outside for a while a couple nights ago and now my body is covered in mosquito bites. how can i stop them from itching and make them go away and not scar? i got bitten like this last year and my legs were covered in scars for a really long time. i have a ton on my feet and my feet scar wicked easily.

Buy some Goldbond! It helps stop itching soooo much. And if you don't scratch there will be no scar! Hope this helps!!!

I just started talking to this guy. I thought he was going to be ok to hang out with, but he knows I have a BF, and the other day he started to kiss me. It kinda my fault in a way though, he was crying so I hugged him and kissed his forehead. Then he stoped crying and started to kiss me. I dont know how to make him leave me alone, and im afraid he will bother me at school.

Just tell him that you ONLY want to be friends. Nothing more. Tell him the kiss you gave him on his forehead was to make him feel better. That you have a boyfriend and only like this guy as a friend. Hope this helps!!!

Ok i went to Wal-Mart last week and i bought a straightener. (Havent opened it yet) It cost like $30 and its a Conair Ceramic Ultra Slim Straightener 1 5/8" plates. DOes anybody have this?? Its a really bright shiny red and its slim. I just wanted to know if it works or if anybody thinks it will work or whatever. I have thin/thick NOT thin but not think hair if that helps...

Conair products aren't really the best to buy for straightening or for curling hair, I have a Chi and it's the best on the market. They cost around $150 but it's worth every penny!! Hope this helps!!!

School starts soon, and I want a new hairstyle, but I don't know what to do. I always left it down last year. This year I want to try something new. I have thick,straight,blonde hair. Like if I should cut or highlight etc. Any ideas would help, plz!

I think that you should get it cut if it's long and put some low-lights in it. Maybe a light brown color and ask the hair stylist for tips on how to get the look that you want! Hope this helps!!

my bf && i have pretty much made if a habit to talk everynight past midnight. i have my cell on vibrate (i have free min) & he calls from his house. we hadnt gotten caught after 3 nights of that but today when my dad woke me up, he saw the phone on my bed & asked why so i said it vibrates at night b/c i was still half asleep. i dont know what else to tell him if he asks! ok so we are on a plan that we share and he pays...will the time & number of the call show up on the bill? please help! any info is important!!

I'm pretty sure that all the info will show up. I'm not allowed to talk on the phone past 10 during summer so if I would get caught I would just tell the truth cause if you get caught in a lie it only makes things 10 times worse and you could end up getting your phone taken away for good! I'm 13/f. I just discovered that the person I have had a huge crush on for two years (he's really cool; the smartest kid in the grade and he's really nice and he's my only guy friend) doesn't like me back. I feel awful. He doesn't know. Is there anything I can do? How can I deal with this? Should I try to stop liking him and move on? Please I know that a 13-year-old's problems aren't as important to you as an older person, but still it would be really really nice if someone could help me.

I have the exact same problem as you. Just keep on going as friends and he'll eventually see what he's missing out on! Just remember if he doesn't like you there are plenty of other fish in the sea. Hope this helps!!!

I like this guy and his mom is friends with mine. The onyl thing is hes not my type but i still like him hes also kinda poor and he lives in the ghetto. In my opinion...you really are stuck. If you go out with him, there's a chance you guys could end up doing it and you could get pregnant or get an STD. But on the other hand if you don't go out with him you'll be hurting (not physically) and you'll want to go out with him and be crushed when he gets a girlfriend. There's this new guy at our school. We've already become really good friends and I've introduced him to some other people. But he doesn't seem to open up in public. (like on AIM we talk for hours, but at school it's just a simple "Hi") What can I do to make him feel more welcome?

He's the knew kid. He's going to be shy and feel unwelcome in a new school. He's not that way around you because you've made him feel welcome. Maybe you could ask him to come hang out with you and some of your other friends so that way he could get to know more people. Hope this helps!!

Today, my family and I (14/m) were out playing sports. All was well for a while. Untill my lil brother started to misbehave and be uncooperative.I got vexxed, but i controlled my rage untill we got home.

At home, i was still vexxed.
(since my birthday is about a montn away)My mom asked me what i wanted for my birthday. I told her "i want my brother to be gone for my birthday. that would be the perfect gift."

She got vexx at me. so vexx she couldn't speak. Sheleft the room.

I went to look for her later and i found her crying. what i said really got to her emotionally. she just looked at me like everything was lost.

but i dont know what to do.

What should i do?

Personally, what you did in the first place was really STUPID! I know how you feel about the little brother thing, I have a 4 year old little bro and he can be soooooo freakin annoying! But what you need to do is show you mom that you are SINCERELY sorry. Maybe you could play with you little bro or take him out to ride bikes or play football, just something that will make your mom smile and see that you really didn't mean it. Hope this helps!!

ok this might be long.. im 14/f.. im best friend who i love so much is going out with this very possesive guy.. hes always with her and always wants to be with her.. hell get mad when shes with me, and if he doesnt see her he will get mad.. they always get mad at eachother for stupid things.. and shes always in a bad mood when im with her because she knows her bf is mad.. i hate it when shes in bad moods because she never was until she went out with this guy.. i mean they dudes a great guy but hes just way too possesive.. so they got into an argument when i was at my best friends house.. my friend ran upstairs crying and i had no idea what to do.. i went up and i heard her crying so hard.. ive never heard anyone cry like that before.. she was taking all the pictures of her and her bf and throwing them everywhere.. slamming picture frames against the door.. i didnt know what to do i just hugged her.. so we went out that night.. her bf apologized and wanted to go back out with her.. and of course she said yes and they were hugging and kissing not even 4 hours later.. they are a real serious couple.. but you dont understand how pissed i was to see them like that.. i have a feeling that he knows he will always get his way.. my friend didnt know if she should go back out with him.. but she did.. i dont know but it makes me angry.. im invisible to her when shes with her bf but when shes mad she always expects me to be there for her.. and i am but she cant be doing this.. i dont know what do you think?

What a JERK!!! Your friend doesn't need a guy like that. One of my ex-boyfriends was really obsessive too and when I broke up with him he called my best friend a bitch. So in my opinoin you need to get her to break up with him one way or another!!! He might end up hurting her. Hope this helps!!

Time-out is when he can't hug you or kiss you or touch you or anything cause he thinks you guys need to take some "time-out". It's really stupid and most guys who take time-outs take them because they might want to break up. Hope this helps!!

how do you become out goin? i mean im really out going and funny when i get to kno someone really well. but its realy hard for me to just meet someone and hit it off right away. what are some things you say to like a cute boy you see at the mall or someone you see that looks like alot of fun and want to talk to?
