I am twenty-one, soon to be twenty-two, and currently work in a loan servicing department. I truly enjoy my job, as well as college, in which I am reaching my last year to receive my degree. I am an outgoing person whom loves to have fun, be with my best friends and family, go shopping and most importantly, helping others.
Helping others has always been my passionate, from a young age I knew that I wanted to help other people and be a great influence in making someone's life turn for the better. i got accepted into every college i applied to (6 of them). i sent in my deposit for one and 4 of them gave me a paper to send back with my decision. it was something as simple as check this box if you will not be attending this university. but there was one school who didn't give me a paper like that...and i want to reject acceptance. so how do i tell them i wont be attending? do i type a letter and send it through postal mail? do i email them? i'm lost and may 1st is coming so they probably want me to tell them before then. thanks! Contact the college's admission office and explain to them your situation. They may just write it down themselves, or they may have an official form. You have nothing to worry about though, some people don't even contact a college when they aren't going there -- but I admire you for trying to contact them. :)

Be sure your settings allow Facebook to show your status on your live feed and to others. You may have the feature blocked.

i have an hp laptop that i got new in august before i left for school. today i noticed that it won't charge. when it's plugged in, the plug icon shows up by the battery so it recognizes it, but rather than showing the battery charging like it usually does, it just sits steady at a low percentage and when i unplug it, it's nearly dead. it'll stay on as long as i have it plugged up so it's gotta be recognizing the power source, but charging is the problem. what can i do? also i don't know much about computer problems and i'm a poor college student haha, so hopefully nothing too complicated! Some places I go and use my debit card, they ask for an ID. I usually show my permit ID, but I lost it. So is a school ID fine as well? (It has my picture and name.) (link)

Yes, as long as its a photo ID, it's usually accepted. Since it's your school ID, it's definitely legit.

Good idea! The bacteria that grows in makeup is so scary.

I live in a small town and there is only one shop that sells dresses. Now, I would like to have my promotion dress be different than everybody else's if at all possible in any way!

I just broke up with my long-distance boyfriend 2 days ago because I couldn't handle the distance. I really do still love him, and I'm not handling the break up well.
We decided mutually to be friends, but it's not really working. He's being unusually mean to me (which is to be expected I guess, since it's only been 2 days). This is too hard on me, and every time I end a call with him I end up crying. My feelings for him are still strong, but I do want to stick with my decision. Today we planned to chat at a certain time, and it's about 2 hours past & he's nowhere to be found.
My question is: should I cut off all contact? I really would like to be friends, but I can tell it is clearly going to take me some time. Also, if I do decide to cut all contact..should I tell him or just do it?
Btw, I'm leaning more towards the 'just doing it' option, without telling him, because after I talk to him it usually leaves me wanting to talk to him again. If I just stop contact, I won't have a chance to talk to him first. My only concern with this option is that when I am ready to be friends (maybe a month or so down the line), he won't want to speak with me/be my friend because I did the no contact thing without telling him. Ahh, please any advice would help!! I just want to be happy again. Thank you.

Unfortunately, as much as we still want to be friends with our ex's, it can be too painful sometimes. I think you and I both know that this is one of those times. I would cut all contact with him and not tell him because as you mentioned, that will only lead to more talking, more heartache, etc. I think you'll find yourself a lot happier when you can break the ties with this guy and move on with your life.
However, you must know that he may not want to be friends with you later on, but if he's being mean to you now, what's the point? Good luck, friend.

Okay so im 17 and im single, but this guy has liked me for about two years. ive told him once i wasnt ready for a relationship but then when im with him i dont let him kiss me or hold my hand but as the time goes by that day i get weak and we end up kissing. i dont know if this is bad because i want a boyfriend, i just dont want him as a boyfriend. If you don't want him as a boyfriend, and he has liked you for two years -- it's probably best that you stop kissing him. You need to explain to him that you're sorry for leading him on in any way possible, but the kissing has to stop because you do not share the same feelings for him as he has for you. I know this can be a tough thing to say, but believe me, it's for the best.
Never give it a shot with someone that you really don't want as a boyfriend because it has no future. Good luck, girl! :)

Okay, i went to new jeresy shore like 1 week ago, and i got badly sunburnt. So my skin is peeling really badly. i tryed aloe of all kinds, and its not stopping. what can i do to get it to stop. ill rate ;] (link)

Be sure to always wear at least SPF 30 and reapply as often as needed. Also, if your sunburn doesn't go away soon, go get checked out by a doctor just to make sure you didn't damage your skin any further.
