this month is my birthday and i dont kno what to do since im turning 14 and i am 2 old for a sleepover.. so what should i do?
House party !! Lots of music, food and games. Best Parties everr. Sleep overs you are deffinitly not too old for though. My friend had a few of her best friends sleep over, went out for dinner and it was awsome. And if you don't wanna do any of that, juss go somewhere to chill with your friends.

hey there,
theres this guy at school I really really like.
Before our xmas vacation,we had this party at school. Out of no-where, he just said "hey S".
A week later, he asks me about the yearbook comitee.
After the vic, we had PE together, he called my name and when I turned, he waved with a big smile on his face. I was so surprised, after that I developed a crush on him. But all he does is say "hi" and told me one funny thing my guyfriend did(they're in the same class). I really dont know, does he have a crush on me? Every time I decide to give up on him, someone says he glanced at my direction or was staring at me.
I really need your advice, should I wait or should I give up on him?
It seems like he does but you two shoudl really talk more. Next time he says hi, just be lyke. "hey what's up?" to get a conversation going. Then if you notive any flirting or anything, you'll be positive that he likes you. Goto the movies with him too with a group of friends or something. Everyone is always more social out of school.

hey im just wondering, if u cut is it like wrong.. is it that big of a deal.. if its not for attention it just helps you deal with yourself then does it matter? do you need help if you do cut?
Cutting is bad and it's best to get help. Some people do it for attention yet otheres say it so it'll take the emotional pain away. None of those reasons are good exscuses for you to cut. If this is you, or a friend who's cutting you best talk to a parent, cousler at school or someone trustworthy because you don't want anyone dieing from something that you knew could be helped.

how do you know if you have mono? like what are the symptoms? does it have symptoms? i dont know anything about it and so i dont really know if i have it...! thanks yall!
You actually don't get a fever from mono.. You do get soar throats though, and you're tired all the time. All you want to do is sleep. It'll keep you out of school for some time as well. Also, if you were either kissing or sharing drkins with someone a few months ago then there's a high chance that it's mono you have. It does take months to get.

ok, so my best friend's boyfriend raped her, and i don't know what to do. i know i should tell someone, but she's being dumb, and saying it was her fault, but when you get down to the point SHE WAS RAPED. i don't want her to be mad at me, but i should tell someone right? either that, or i could kill him, but i wouldn't do that. so help????!!!!! please. thanks everyone

Deffinitly tell someone to get her help! That's the best possible thing you can do as a friend right now. It's hard for some people.. things that tramatizinq. So no matter how much she hates you for it, she'll take you later.

ok, so there is this boy that i have liked for a while now. he goes to a different school, but we talk everyday and get to hang out a lot. he broke up with his girlfriend about 2 monthes ago, and i figured that i would wait until now to tell him how i felt, so he could heel. well, i told him, and he really likes me too. he tells me that i'm really pretty and funny and all that good stuff. but when i asked him if he wanted to start dating in the near future he started acting weird to me. so i left it alone a couple days before i talked to him about that, to see what was up, now he won't talk to me. i'm wondering if maybe he's not over his girlfriend yet, or if he was just leading me on. please help, i'm totally falling in love here, and i need to know what to do before i cry again. thanks to anyone who will help.

I can honestly say, I think its that he's not completely over his girlfriend yet. Tell him you don't want things to be lyke it is now, and you'd rather be friends than not talk at all. it's cool and fine if hes not ready to comit again. That way you can get to talking. He'll let you know whenhe's ready again. Promise.

Get his screen name or something and talk to him online because I find it really easy to talk to people that way. Then you'll eventally start talking in school, on the phone ect. And so your freind doesnt feel like your trying to steal him from her, invite her somwhere if you guys ever go out and she'll see how you guys are closer and she ont be so pissed off like your personally attacking her.

a lot of my friends tell me to dump my boyfriend because hes hurt me a lot. but hes also made me so much happier. i dont know what to tell them to stop them from telling me what to do. no matter what they say im not going to leave him. i'd rather die first. literaly. it just gets annoying when they do this to me. its getting me mad at my friends which makes my boyfriend mad at them because i get mad at them. and i havent had too good of friends in the past either. we've been going out for 1 1/2 years. i dont know what to tell them. any ideas?
Friesndy like that aren't good friends but some people don't realize how hurtful they're being. I'm sure they say what they say just to try to protect you because they care but they need to know when to lay off. Have a serious talk with them and just be lyke "guys, i'm happy with my boyfriend and as much as you tell me to break it off with him, it's not goind to happen.. i lvoe him too much. you can either accept it or not but lay off with all the negative coment and stuff. i dont need it." and from there see if they lay off. if not u dont need them.

I'v always had low self esteem and latley i'v been feeling a little better about myself. I always wish how i had a bf or someone who cares about me like that but i never ask guys anything cuz im to shy. I'm kinda the type of girl who mostly has guy friends but not the really hott popular ones because im to shy to talk to them. I'd just like to have someone there for me thats more then a friend but i never think that anyone will like me. I hate having low self esteem and i try to do things to help it but nothing ever works. is there a way to make me feel better about myself besides a "make over" cuz im not tha girly and its juss not my thing, and is there a way to maybe get noticed more?
I honestly belive that there's someone for everyone and you jsut havent found him yet. He'll come soon enough. Just be concirned about making friend with people not looking for a boyfriend. Then eventually you'll find that person who you feel comphortable around and maybe something between the two of you will work out. Get one of your freinds that you talk around alot to introduce you to some guys also. Sit with them at lunch and the conversations will flow since you have someone you know well and talk alot to there. Also, just wake up in the moring feelg a little more confident about yourself knowing and actually beliving your beautiful. He'll notice that in you. Don't worry so much about it.

Everyone has a differnt breaking point. Maybe it takes something major or personal to you for a more personal side of you to come out. When someone trips and falls and get a little bruise or something, it's not your obligation to get al teary for them. Or even if they broke their arm, i mean yeah some people would have a little sympathy but it's find if you dont cry over it. No matter how much you know it or not, you'll always be there for you friends and family caring, and being concerned if something bad happened so don't worry about how you feel over little things. it's normal.

I think you should stay with your boyfriend. So? hes a little shy about making the first move. there's ntohing wrong witht hat and i'm sure he'll move fast the mosr compohortable he feels. As long as your happy with him and he's treated you well, there's no good reason to leave him. Jake sounds like he only likes you cause he wants a little something. Atleast you know your boyfriend won't preasure you into anything.

My friend has a similar problem so she got this stuff called bite it. It's white nail polish (probably shows up clear) and the label on it says BITE IT with a big red slash trhough it. It taste exra bad and makes the taste stick with you so you won't want to bite again. It also doesn't come off easily so you don't go"oh jsut a quick bite, ill put the nail polish on after this. " lol

My friend is soo depressed, that everytime I'm with her, she brings me down too. And I try to cheer her up, but she just gives me one of those fake smiles. It is breaking up our friendship now, and I don't want that to happen. What do I do to help her?!
Take her somewhere where she can't help but have fun. Lyke a comedy movie(hitch is a good one), bowling is never boring. Stuff like that to make her smile for real. Stuff lyke that never fails and she'll be so giggly around you that it'll be back like old times.

Ok, there is this boy named Eryc, he's in 4/6 of my classes. My friend thinks he likes me, and I kind of believe her, kind of don't. Sometimes he can be such a bastard! But then when I need help he stands up for me. My friend is only in 1/6 of me and Eryc's classes, so she wouldn't know at all what I go through with him and what he does. But in the one class she is in, she thinks he likes me. My question is do you think he has a crush on me?
That's sweet how he stnds up for you !! but I still say, you can never know cause guys can be so confusing lol But nots or friends always work! Write him a note befor one of the classes where you dont share so he'snot ocwardly reading it infront of you simply saying something like "i do have a crush on you but i dont wanna make things uncompohrtable so its cool if you dont lyke me back. you should call me sometime tho -your digits-" OR just get a close friend who will tell you the truth if he likes you. Either thing will work

I wasn't completley sure what category this goes under, so I took a guess. My dad always tells me not to pop/crack my knuckles. And he always yells at me when I do. Is there a certain reason why you shouldn't? I heard you can get arthritis from it, I heard that your fingers will get bigger, and I've also heard that nothing will happen. So like why shouldn't I be cracking my knuckles? Can it really do that much damage?
People do it every so often just don't make a big habit of it. Yes, it's tru you can get arthritus and it'll make your nucklets REALLY big. Not right away, but when you get older. That won't be very pretty or helpful.

That is really serious. First off, I would talk toy your friend over the phone about it (if your still close with ehr adn trust her) to see if she could help you out/ And check with her if any of this seems typical of him so that when you report this, which I would highly suggest, maybe she could help out. Tell someone you trus whos an adult though. Like a parent, a counsoler at school. Anyone. And a doctor you HAVE to see. You could be pregnant, infected, bruised(or anyhting lyke that), or my even be trasmited with some sort of disease. So many things could have happened so see a doctor ASAP.

umm my friend who isnt really now used to abuse me and my other friends.. when i finally got the guts to tell her to stop she gets mad... she hits u so hard and it makes you feel like you want to die. shes hurt a lot of my other friends to and she even hurts guyys=.. well so anyways she hit me really hard on the head and i didnt say anything so then she says i dont think she felt that and kills me with two more slaps... so i went home crying and of course my parents fournd out. my mom accualy went over and talked to them. she doesnt even care and now i think she is going to tell everyone else a whole different story even though i have witnesses. also she is friends with most of my other friends too even though im better friends with them then she is. i am just scared that no one will believe me or she might accually hurt me again. im so scared i dont even no wat to do now... HELP!!!
This girl has problems and I'm not even kidding. This may sound way over the top of what you think but you need to tella counsler or have someone call her parents about this. Ignore what ever she has to say too. Don't gever her the time of the day. It's nto worth it. Your friends will understand and everything will be fine.

What are the best excersises and best ways to excercise for a 13 year old in middle school that wants a flat stomach, keep a flat stomach, and build some muscle? And how often should I excersise?
www.toneteen.com is an awesome site that i've been given that gives you a bunch of exercises for different parts of your body. I'd say exercise about 30mins a day. I've been working out lyke that and there's been pretty good results =)
