Q: Hi, I am 15 years old and I am really confused right now. Let me start at the beginning. When I was 13, my best friend at the time (we'll call her Susie) started to like this boy (we'll call him Steven) that I have known my whole life but never really noticed like that. So she sent me to be the messenger and ask him questions for her and eventually he asked his friend to ask her out for him because he "liked her too" (later I found out he was just physically attracted to her). While I was talking to him for her, I fell head over heels in love. So they "went out" (they weren't actually allowed to date, so it was just a title really) for about 2 weeks and then Susie called me and asked me to break up with Steven for her. I was reluctant, but she was my bff at the time so I agreed. I decided to break it to him gently, and when I did, he ended up being really upset. I got to comfort him and console him until he got over her. Now he and I both hate her because of the events that have happened since then, butafter he got over her, I began trying to get him to fall for me. We were talking a lot for a while and I fell even more deeply in love with him. But I only saw him in church (3 times a week) and at church functions, and so after our little social circle (us two, and about 3 other people) fell apart, we stopped talking. I didn't want to talk to him with no excuse because he might find out I like him. So I am still totally in love with him and everytime I see him, hear him, or anything I feel like I'm going to expolode! I have to write poetry to get my feelings out because they're so strong. I have written 20 poems just in the last month! What do you guys think I should do? But before you answer, consider that I am huge, fat, ugly and my self-esteem is very low. Also, both of our parents won't let us go out together or be alone for too long. What can I do? Much love,

Okay, first off I am sure you are not fat and ugly. And if you really think so, eat healthier and exercize a lot. Confidence is the key roll in attraction.

Okay, so Steven... mwah mwah mwah (kissing sounds.) Lol. I say you talk to him. I realize thats hard to do, but you need to. Your in love, you need to talk to your lover! Q: ok these girls have partys were they have sex and finger ea other and stuff well they told me it was just somthing like a girls night out just to hang and watch movies so i went and i didnt no that they fingered ea other and stuff but worse guys were there so somone brought beer and i got drunk and they got it on camera of me taking of all my cloths and i guess they video taped it when a guys fingered me and they put it on this like web page and every thing like you could see really clearly like him fingering me they got up close oh my god i wanna move schools everyone thinks oh my god every ones like so i wounder if i can git up in ur pants and say all this shit but do i just wiat until they stop talking about it or i dont know just what do i do?

Okay, dont move schools. Then they will just think your chicken. What you can do is to just stick it out and wait untill it dies down or some better piece of gossip spreads around. (Dont sperad a rumor by the way)

And also, maybe talk to the girls who put it on the website and ask them nicely to get it off.

Q: A guy that I'm quite good friends with invited me over to his house. We are both adults over 25. We were both watching Dr. Phil on the television. I remembered this one show a long time ago where these young teens were having oral sex parties and thought it was no big deal. Dr. Phil got mad and told them that oral sex was still considered sex because it involved a sex organ. (I agreed with him by the way) I imitated his voice and said in a Dr. Phil tone "but it IS sex because it involves a SEX ORGAN!!".
All my other friends when I told them this burst out laughing because I totally sounded like Dr. Phil. Well after I did this I looked at my friend and he looked really uncomfortable and didnt say anything at all so I changed the subject. I figured we were pretty close and could talk about just about anything. We've talked about blow jobs before.
Do you thing this might mean his feelings towards me have changed from liking me as a friend to something more? Why else would he react this way?

Well that could be the reason. Or maybe he just had a bad experience with oral sex? Your best bet is talking to him. Ask him if he likes you.

Q: This a strange sort of etiquette question that has been bothering me from a while now…

I have a close friend and we live in a large metropolitan city. Whenever we are walking on the street she will do absolutely anything to walk as far away as possible from a homeless person. This really grates my nerves.

If we are walking side by side she will move all the way over to the curb, even if it means crossing in front of me in order to be 6 or 7 feet away from the homeless person (and a few feet any from me as well, since I continue to walk in a straight line). She will move back to me after they are a few feet behind us. I find this unbearably rude and downright heart breaking. She often tries to convince me too cross the street if she can see a person down the road on our side.

Now if they were yelling and screaming I would understand, but these are unfortunate souls who are simply huddled against buildings for warmth.

This is really upsetting me but some of my friends say it is just her irrational fear and I should respect it. But it makes me not want to go out with her, as we live in the core and pretty much walk everywhere. Am I wrong to be upset and/or how can I make her stop this?

Hmm.. thats sorta weird. Maybe talk to her next time you are polanning to go out. Tell her that homeless people will not harm her, and they are just helpless because they dont have the money to get a home or nice clothes to get a job, and they are basically stuck being homeless unless enough people help them. And if it still continues, warn her that you wont walk with her if it continues.

Q: Would you take offense if your gf/bf said that although they find you attractive, they would never want to see a "Picture" of you, or see you in your underwear? I'm sure you can guess of what nature.

My gf said this to me and I felt offended. I don't really know why. I guess it's no big deal, really. We were only kidding around and she said that. I'm pretty insecure about my looks, which doesn't help I suppose. So would you take offense, or am I making a big deal?

I personally, would feel offended. Depending on her tone, if she was just joking then its no big deal. If she sounded serious, thats not nice. Does she normally make remarks like that? Or is she normally very nice? These are things you need to put into consideration.

Q: I've had my period since July, and it's already starting to become regular. Is this a good time to start using tampons? I want to begin using them before the volleyball season comes up because I heard you can see pads through your spandex shorts. Any tips on using them, like how to know when it's in, how exactly to use the applicater, and how to get it in ? Thanks guys :)

Okay. Its your choice if your ready or not. Tampons are very easy to use, not like they seem (right?) Haha. Okay, so they are easy and very convienent. I recommend playtex regulars, because they work for me, and a few other people I know. They are the most comfortable, in my opinion. They have like a little handle too, so its easy. Putting them in.. there will be a packet to explain. Oh, and dont give up your first time, its tough (i cried, haha. it wasnt that bad though), but you'll get used to it. You basically just stick it in your vagina (the only hole there, so dont worry) and take the applicater out (plastic) You know its in when the handle thing is still visible, and its in securily.

Q: Okay so my dads a major alcoholic and Im trying to get him in trouble and arrested or somehow away from my mother and i cause he is a danger and a jerk. I mean its horrible. He wont physically abuse us to the point of marks cause he dont want to go to jail. However we suspect he may be back on drugs (hes been on them in the past) cause he seems all down dissapears and come back really perky. How can I see if he is? How can I prove it? What should I do? PLEASE HELP!

Talk to them, go to meetings and what not, get support from them. There is something alca-(something) thats for all ages. So your mother can go to one too.

I don't really think your dad should be arrested. Maybe he should, but i'm not sure if its possible at the moment. I say you talk to his doctor privately, and get him to a rehab center, AA meetings, or something. Get him so hes sober and drug-free.

You need to support him, no matter how evil he is. If you do listen to my advice and get him to rehab or AA, tell him you love him, and you know he can do it. Even if you dont. He will need the support.

Q: alright so me and my boyfriend have been together for a month. but we don't tend to talk a lot wich kind of upsets me,i was thinking on ending the realtion ship but i truly do like him a lot. we went out once over the summer for quite a period of time but broke up over a silly reason. but now were together again and i don't want it to get messed up again.how could i talk to him about this?

Be casual. Maybe IM him or call him. Be like "whats up" and maybe casually bring up your relationship. Say something like "we haven't gone out in a while" and then ask him if he still wants to be in the relationship. If he says he doesnt, your out of luck. But if he says he does, say "Yeah, i do to." And maybe ask him out.

Q: I recently started dating a guy Ive had a crush on for some time now. I was exstatic, because I really liked him. Now, Ive known this guy for seven years, and had little crushes on him every now and then, but only recently did it develop into something bigger. The only draw back was he had dated a friend of mine at one point. It lasted about 4 months between them, and she broke it off with him.

Normally I would have confronted her about the fact that I liked him and asked permission. It didnt seem like a big deal anyhow: she broke up with him, has since had other boyfriends (even currently), and it was quite awhile ago. They even broke up on good terms. However, someone managed to tell her before I had a chance (thank you rumour mill) and I was wrong; she was pissed. She claims its because it would be weird for her to "hang out in a group setting." Please take into consideration the last time we hung out was over the summer, over 4 months ago.

My question is this: Is this wrong of me? I have no intentions of breaking it off with him. I dont profess my undying love for him, but we seem really good together, and Id like to pursue it further. So now what?

Well its not wrong, if you have feelings for him, you have feelings for him. You can't help it. But there is a little unwritten rule that friends dont date friends exes. Its a good way to stay friends. But you need to think about whats more important to you: your friendship with this girl, or this guy. Untill you decide that, I can't help you anymore. When you decide, ask me for advice.

Q: I never payed any attention when my schoool nurse talked to us about it. can you answer this please? are we supposed to bleed ALL the time? i thought you only bled on a cycle or something.

ALL the time, no. Girls bleed anywhere from 3-7 days at a time. If your bleeding at like 12 days at a time, you might wanna talk to a parent or a doctor.

Q: I am 13 and in 8th grade and have never had a boyfriend. I think I'll be able to manage one better when I get to high school. Is it a turn-off to guys if you've never had a boyfriend before? I need to know, thanks.

Okay, first of all i am 13, 8th grade, and never had a boyfriend. So I know what your feeling. I really think that our lonliness has nothing to do with if we will get guys in the future. I think that they really don't care. I think some may like it because they may think we could be easy. And others could not like it because we are not experienced. But I think most guys dont care. And if your really that worried about it... what a guy doesnt know, doesnt hurt him. ;)

Q: mah friend used to like this kid named billy, she liked him forever but he never liked her back. Now she has a boyfriend and I like billy. She doesnt know, and she still likes billy also. I think that she cant have her cake and eat it too.. since she has a boy friend she should get over billy. what should i do? billy said that he likes me and might wanna go out with me, should i go out with him and for get about mah friend or what?

Well.. if your friend has a boyfriend, then she really can't date Billy without breaking up with her bf or being a jerk. If Billy likes you, and you like Billy go for it. But I must remind you that the rule is "dont date your friends ex" so if you do go out with Billy, your friend might not like you anymore. But what you really need to think about is whats more important to you: a guy who could last a few weeks or a friend which could last for a few years? Me personally would go with the friend.

Q: should girls shave thier pubes? and if so how much? and how are you saposed to get the hair wwaayy down there.. since its pretty much.. surrounded..?

Well its not necessary, but I know girls who do. And if your thinkign about shaving there, be gentle about it because I think you can get a rash. I personally think that bikini waxes would be better. But if your gonna shave down there, thave around the bikini line, so your hair doesnt stick out of undies or bathing suites. If you wanna shave it all down there for sex, then thats up to you.

Every girl is different, so there is no limit to how much hair you get down there.

Q: okay so i have liked this guy since last year and we have been really good friends. he is in 8th grade and im a freshmen and he always waits for me before 4th period every day and hugs me everytime he sees me. and so i finally told him and he says that we are too good of friends and he doesnt want to mess anything up but i dont really get it because all the girls he has gone out with have like cheated on him and stuff and he knows i would never be like that and i dont understand why you wouldnt want to go out with your friend.. like would you rather go out with a complete stranger? someone please help idk what to do.

See, you apparently don't get the concept. He probably wants to date you but doesn't want to mess up your friendship. Meaning: if you two go out, then break up, you guys wont be as good of friends any more. or not friends at all.

He has a good reason to say that. You should be a little happy about that because now you know that he really cares about your friendship. Its tough because you like him, I know, but you gotta live with it.

Wow, sounds like a soap opera. Haha. Okay, well I didn't hear the first of this, but I'm gonna try a crack at it anyways. Aparently you talked about this Marisa girl once, in my opinion Marisa should realize that everybody talks behind everybodys back. And you shouldnt tlak about people behind their backs, no matter what the situation is. But if I were you.. I would get over them because they seem kinda rude to me. And to make new friends, just be extremely nice to everyone, and talk (nicely) to everyone.

Q: I have a problem with bad breath...i always brush my teeth, i chew mint gum CONSTANTLY and i eat mints all the time, and yet my breath still stinks, what can i do to make it fresh?!?!?!

Brush your teeth 3 times a day, floss one time a day, brush your tongue 2 times a day. The tongue is a big source of bad breath, same with the stuff you need to floss. And try to not eat many stinky foods (doritos, tacos, ect.)

Q: I know that your boobs look bigger by the tissue that is in them. Is there anyway that you can lose some of that tissue without having a breast reduction.

I wouldn't know, but I doubt it. But.. as advice, love your big boobs because I'm sure there are plenty of girls out there who want them.

Q: Recently i met this guy called craig... and we went out . but then he had a nervous breakdown and got really depressed and started cutting himself and he dumped me after we had only been going out for two weeks! and he was going on about how he didnt know if he loved me and all thats stuff. Then after his depressive stage he came back to me saying how sorry he was and that he had chnaged and that some how he wuld show me that he cared etc. As stupid as i am .. i agreed and this was only on Tuesday, and everything was fine and he usually goes on msn for me all the time or texts me. I really don't know because I don't know this guy. But I suggest calling him. Ask him whats up, seem casual. Don't look desperate. But maybe casually ask him why he didn't text you back. And if he keeps it up, dump him. He's not worth your time.

Q: Me and my boyfriend recently broke up, and he already has a new girlfriend. There's this guy I've been talking to, but we're only friends. We've hung out ALOT, and done some stuff. I have the choice to have sex with him, and I think I want to. But people say he has herpes, and I'm not sure if he does or not. Should I ask him? Or just go for it? And if I need to ask him..what do i say?

Okay. Herpes is a big deal. STDs are big deals. Because they stick with you for life. So just having sex with him..... is not a good idea. Ask him. Be like "before we have sex... I wanna know. Do you have herpes? Be honest." And hopefully he'll give you a truthful answer. And to see if he's telling the truth... look at his mouth. Does he have any coldsores? Because I heard people with herpes get a lot of cold sores. Good luck, and just listen to your heart.
