Well just think of what you like to do. If you like psychology, then you have many options to pursue. You can become a clinical, counseling, or forensic psychologist. Or, you can get a doctor's degree in psychology and become a psychiatrist. I also want to major in psychology! But like I said, you really have to learn about yourself and what you like to do - whether it's helping people, working on your own, or working with people.

Were you able to keep your old friends and make brand new, more loyal ones in high school? To put it bluntly, it seems like everyone is dumb and immature in the eighth grade and I just want some sort of reason to tell myself that it'll all be okay in the end.

well see I have this problem. I used to pull my hair out of my head. Please, don't ask why, it was just a habit. Well eventually, I pulled out so much hair that it looked like I had a receading hairline. I had my hairdresser cut bangs so I could cover the hairline, and I have been waiting for the hair to grow back, but it's taking alot longer than I thought it would have. But, I still keep pulling out my hair and it's a thing I do when I'm bored. So my questions are, how long does hair usually take to grow back? and how can I stop this habit of pulling out my hair?

I didn't know if i should put this in friendships but anyways... i tried talking to the guy i have a crush on, but then someone came to talk to me and he left. all i could ask him was what he was listening to and what kind of music it was. a guy that likes me that i'm friends with is always pretending not to know things about me when he really does. For example, he knows darn well how old I am and what day my birthday is but when he's in front of others he'll say, oh your (not my age) right? Or {when is your birtday?) He also treats me really bad when he's with his guy friends. He will ignore me, and when I talk to him him won't give me eye contact. But when he's alone with me he's sweet and attentive.

When you are ready. It depends on if you are a virgin or not. People that aren't virgins aren't going to wait a year to have sex with their boyfriend or girlfriend. But, if the person is a virgin, they would most likely wait until they really felt ready and comfortable. It depends though it could be 3 months into the relationship or 3 years.

I am writing this because I don't know what to do. I am really scared that my use of alcohol is out of control. I feel pressured by my friends to be part of the drinking scene. I see people in the media using drugs for pleasure. When I'm drunk, I forget alll my problems and school is unimportant. I've dropped out of sports and I o what I can to get money for my alcohol. I bring little bottles of it to school because I can't going the day without it. Can you help me?
Go to a school counselor. They can't tell your parents and they will help you. If you don't care if your parents know, tell them. Get rid of all the alcohol you have and start hanging out with different people.

Keep eye contact at all times. When you shake their hands, give a firm shake. Also, they say wearing the color red has been proven to get you more likely to get a job because it shows confidence. They will probably ask you why you want to help there, where you have worked in the past, why they should pick you, and have you ever gotten fired.

Get a scrubbing pad for your face that is kind of rough, and wet it and rub it all over your face. You probably just have alot of dead skin. When you're done, put lotion on it.

I am definitely against abortion, unless it is severely hurting the mother's health. It is murder either way you look at it. I mean, have the baby and atleast give it up for adoption. A life is better than no life.

Im in 7th grade, and my friend in 8th smokes. she isnt a bad person at all. well, at the end of the school day, we hugged and everything, when i came home,my mom smelled smoke on me and i think she thought i was smoking,even though id never do anything like that. she does know abt Jenny and everything, but how do i convince them that im not smoking or anything?
Tell her that if you were smoking, wouldn't you need one a lot during the day even when you are at home. Tell her to smell your breath, your clothes, your hair, and whatever else when you get home everyday. Have your friend tell her that it was her that hugged you and you don't smoke.

A guy that I'm good friends with just moved to another state for a job. I was hoping one day we would be an item. Well right before he moved he was acting like a real jerk to me. He said he would visit me before he left and never did and also didn't phone me like he said he would. It's been a month since he moved and since then I havent received any emails from him.
My question is that I had wanted to get him a Xmas gift, but since he is being such a jerk and just stopped contacting me I don't really want to. After all this I still have feelings for him. Should I wait for him to contact me and get me a Xmas gift first? If he does then I will still get him a gift and will know if he still is interested. Otherwise, if he doesnt get me a gift I'm not getting him one.

If I was you, I wouldn't get him a gift. You didn't do anything to him. He lied to you and is now ignoring you. If he gets you a gift and starts talking to you again, then get him a gift.
