smoking
Im in 7th grade, and my friend in 8th smokes. she isnt a bad person at all. well, at the end of the school day, we hugged and everything, when i came home,my mom smelled smoke on me and i think she thought i was smoking,even though id never do anything like that. she does know abt Jenny and everything, but how do i convince them that im not smoking or anything?

I would just come out and tell her. Tell her that you hug one of your firneds that smoked and that how you smell like it. If the trust you they will believe you. Hope I helped.

just tell her. be like, "mom i would never do something like that, im being honest, i dont care if you believe me or not but i know for a fact i dont smoke." then you could just tell her the smell is from your friend. you really cant do anything else but tell her the truth!

Tell her that if you were smoking, wouldn't you need one a lot during the day even when you are at home. Tell her to smell your breath, your clothes, your hair, and whatever else when you get home everyday. Have your friend tell her that it was her that hugged you and you don't smoke.

i think that you should stay away from her for a little bit until your mom belives you or just try talking to her so she can at least almost bielve you. Also i would try to get your friend to stop smoking because drugs are very harmful. Another thing is that u could not like hug her anymore so your mom does not smell smoke on your clothing

Tell your mother exactly what happened. You hugged her, and now she can smell it. It's not all that big of a deal, just let her trust you.. thats all. :)

Have her smell your breath and not just your clothes, because if you just hugged her then your breath wont smell like smoke and obviously it would if you smoked. Good Luck!

i have had that happen to me befor but it was from my boyfriend cause his mom smokes in the house so his clothes smelt liked smoke but i gave him a hug and all and when i got home my mom was like have you been smoking and i said no and that it is gross...she belived me my dad on the other had i really had to tell him stright in the eyes that i was not smoking..at the end it al worked out but you just really have to tell them looking in there eyes and dont look away when you tell them

Simple, just tell them you dont smoke and you have no desire to. Tell them that you have a friend who smokes and u dont even have to tell ur parents about you friend. just say that some kids at school smoke, but make it clear that you have no interest to ever try cigarettes. after that they probably wont worry as much.
