I'm Hayley, I'll try to help you as best I can. I'm 18, and a senior in high school. I like art, music, and clothing. I'm a vegetarian abd have been consistent with it for four years. I have two dogs a westie named misty and a Maltese/poodle mix named mally. I know a lot about dogs because any time
my dogs get a scratch, I research and call the vet haha.

I asked my best friend who I trust everything with if she thinks I'm a slut. In the past she's said no but I asked her to please be honest with me yesterday and answer me the truth. So she said yes, she also said it was very very hard for her to say. I told another friend what was said and he said that if she was a real freiend she would understand and not think i was a slut. He also said if not, there is one good thing to come out of it; I found out that she wasnt a true friend.
So what do I believe? That she did the right thing telling me truthfully that she thinks I am a slut? Or she did the wrong thing in thinking that of her best friend?
She's always been there for me but now I'm confused.
I feel like I can't tell her anything now without feeling like I'm driving her away. She said it doesnt make her like me any less though and that it's my decision.
Can anyone help me?

what the hell. oh my god. your friend that told you the truth, was way right. that other homo is so stupid. she was all the the way right. oh my god, i'm ready to punch that other kid. She told you a truthful answer, on what you asked her. If she said that it doesn't make her like you any less, and its your decision, then wow, i wish I had that good of a friend. you should be happy, shes there for you, and can LOOK PAST your faults. How can that kid even say, shes not a true friend. Of course she is! shes looking past your inperfections, [just like you probably do to her to] and likes you for you! not for the little things you do.

shes a super friend, and you should hold on to her. and be there for her, she sounds like a keeper.

as for the other kid, ehh, doesn't sound so great.

ok my puppy is i think 7 months now and when she was little we would put er in her cage at nights and she would whimper for like a few minutes bafore going to sleep. now shes older and my sister has slept with the dog on her bed a couple of times and when we put her in her cage she does this wierd howling thing where it sounds like shes talking ro crying or something. what is she doing?! and she has terrrible seperation anxiety. like if her family member of choice that day leaves the house for like 5 minutes she barks and does that howling thing by the door untill they come back. any ideas on how to stop this? its annoying and it happens everymorning when my parents leave for work.

ha my dog now does that to me. when she was a puppy, like only 16 weeks, she broke her foot. and so obviously, she wasn't allowed to walk around alot and someone had to constanstly watch her. well that was me, now my dog is like so attached to me. she follows me everywhere. and if shes outside, and she can hear my voice when i'm over on my back deck, she'll start like howling and crying. you kinda just have to leave her alone for a little while, and slowly do that. so she knows shes gonnah ave to spend some time alone. im pretty sure they have these toys, for pets with anxiety, i saw one for puppies that are seperated from there moms. so i dont know. ask your vet what you can do too.

ok well, i got kicked in the ear ( i was in the pool) and now it feels like it has a bucket full of water in it and it wont come out. it feels like its all swollen up and it hurts all the time. i mean like really bad. it's like a throbbing pain and if i touch it it just makes it ten times worse. it drains water sometimes. should i go to the doctor? what should i do. how long does it take to heal??

The pain is probably from being kicked in the ear, and you also probably have a ton of bacteria in your ear too, and if it is swollen, then all that water is just sitting in there, and its making it even worse. Go to the doctor as soon as possible.

it's really hard to find a job, even at 16, it will be hard. But, you can do mcdonalds. Even though, I don't think I'd ever wanna work there. I heard its actually pretty nasty. But, if you don't like fast food, and don't care, then I guess it would work for you. My little brother, has a paper route. Its an hour of your time every thursday [well depending, i guess, because you don't live in the same state as me or anything] And, if you have a good route [try to get a big one] my brother makes 100 dollars a month. which is pretty good, because thats like 25 dollars an hour. Also, don't forget you can do babysitting too. (:

That happened to me just the other day! but the person said, "I would have given you a 5, if you would have capitalized your one 'I'" I captilized everything else, and i forget the one I. and they like freaked out. and i gave really good advice too! i know, i don't think capitalizing really, has too much to do with it either. but some people in this world, except every one to talk perfectly. the only time i would ever rate anyone down is if they talked in all caps, or they talked like.. omg like i think ya should like idk mayb. ha you get it.

actuallly, the second you get in the water, your period stops. (: what i would do, is tell your friend, about it, and ask her to put like some pads or whatever in the bathroom, have one on, when ur wearing your bathing suit, and wear like just a cute pair of shorts over. then when you see everyone starting to go in the pool, go to the bathroom really quick, and take it off, and then go jump in the pool. then, when your ready to get out and you know ur probably gonna be out for good, go back into the bathroom, put a fresh one on, put your shorts on, and bamm. your good to go. oooh, and yes, it does stop when you get in the water, my moms a registered nurse, and my dads a doctor, and i've asked them that before, and they said yes it does, so don't listen to anyone, if they tell you it doesnt..

I work in a convenience store and have to deal with some very difficult customers. It has almost become a daily occurrence.

I do my best to be helpful but some people are really rude. This is stressful, especially if we
are busy.

Do you think that people are just becoming more and more rude or could I be doing something better in dealing with my more difficult customers?

well, whhen someone ask you a question are you like, OK sure let me get right on it, with a smile, or are you like "ughhh hold on. im doing something at the moment, give me a minute." like hows your attitude? when people that work in like grocery stores or whatever, and do that, i get mad. and sometimes people are rude, just because there having a bad day, or there in a rush or something. i wouldn't worry too much about it, as long as you know its not you, causing them to be rude.

and you wonder why people are rude to you..

i have like one person that i would call a friend so guys pretty much stay away from me... do guys mind if a girl is a LITTLE overweight, not much!!
i really want some guy friends im going to high school next year and NEVER had a boyfriend either!

i never knew a guy to like girls who are overweight. i just asked my one really good guy friend this question a little while ago.. [hes really popular, a major jock, and just way hott.] ..

for meeting new friends, for girls, thats easy, just be polite, and smile. find ones who you think are similar to you, and just ask them for there screename or something. i switched schools, at the end of the year, and i still made a ton of friends, trust me it works out. (:

and for that other questions, about how to meet guys ,i asked my one other guy friend, who is average, and like really cutee..

I know that leggings and short denim skirts have been a trend and probably are still a trend for some people. I wear leggings whenever I wear a short skirt because they're just more comfortable. I don't have to worry about my skirt lifting up when I wear leggings. But... is this look still in style? I saw a whole bunch of people wearing it at my school and this year at my school, but ever since my friend said it looked tacky I've been noticing less people wearing it these days. I still wear it. I just don't want to look like an unfashionable weirdo. Is this look still "in" at your school? Tell me what you think.

So one night I had my two friends Sleepover danielle and Carly. Things were going great until i brought up my Crush Me and Jenna went to the same school and Danielle went to a different one. I showed Danielle pictures of him and everything. I never actually talked to my crush ( James ) but i Knew carly was really good friends with him so I asked her to introduce us online. So things were going amazing we were talking and really getting along. Then Danielle says she is going to talk to him on my other computer when we are all ready to go to bed she tells me she is in love with him. And i start getting pretty mad.

So days go on and She starts really getting To Know james, They are constantly texting and On the phone with eachother while i am trying to get closer to James.

So the other day i was like Danielle, We are both in love with James so lets just make a promise not to tell him how we feel or anything, Lets all just be best friends and nothing more and we will never tell him how we feel.

So then Like a day after that Danielle Goes and tells him she likes him. And he says he wants to get to know her first so i get pretty mad.

But today, I am talking to Carly when she goes I gg James and Danielle are coming over. And i was like so pissed off because Carly was nice all through my tough time she knew how much i LOVED James and how mean Danielle was acting and Yet she does this to me. I try talking to her about it but she got so mad at me She was like I would have you over too but i forgot and I got upset So the more Upset i got the More mad she got. ANd then she sends this to Danielle adn Danielle is flipping out on me and they are all ganging up on me.

I cant help it i m gettin so jelouse and i told them Now James is gonna get to know Danielle and He is gonna like her. And I am so upset I have been crying over this all day.

Well, first off, your friends sound like backstabbers, and I don't think if I were you I'd really call them your friends. Because, I mean, there tottaly like excluding you, and ganging up on you and everything, and that just isn't nice.

But, Danielle has every right to like James. Hes not yours, so, if she wanted to tell him she liked him, then she can. All is fair in love and war.

I understand that sucks, that they tottaly went against you, and therre lame friends, but its just a boy. so you kinda have to make a decison, whats more important, this kid you hardly know, or your friends?

I think I could have an infection in my underarms. Lately, since it's been summer, I can't fall asleep at night because of the irritation in my armpits.
I use "Certain Dri" night deodorant, which has always caused an irritation. The label said stop use if irritation or rash occurs, and I've always had an irritation/rash there, but never too bad. However, despite this I continued to use it because it was the only thing that stopped my sweating. Its pretty wierd, because now that its summer, my arm pits feel really itchy when I'm trying to go to sleep (Certain Dri is a night deodorant, which while you sleep, it shrinks the pores to limit prespiration). This past week, its been HORRIBLE, and every morning when I wake up, my underarms are so sensitive I can barely move my arms because ottherwise it sort of "chafes" (sp?) but in my armpit area.
It keeps me awake every night for about 2 hours, and then causes me pain in the morning. I don't think that I can stop using it though, because its summer and I hang out with a lot of boyyss =]
SO PLEAASE help me I have no idea what to do!

Is this like a serious question? I mean, if it is, how can you be so stupid. If it says "Stop if irritation occurs" you should probably stop, duh. Not keep using it, and waiting for it to get worse. Stop being so ignorant, and just stop using it, and switch to something else. because, if you keep using it, its just gonna get worse and worse.

i am 5'1. and i weigh 121.
i dont have a certain time, in which i want to lose weight, but id like to be less than 110 by the time school starts. (august 14).
but i wont freak if im like 113 by then instead. haha.
does anyone know a good diet that works well.
i find myself eating when im bored, which def. have to stop doing, and im cutting out as much carbs as a can, because thats what my mom said to do.
my main problem areas are my thighs and lower stomach.
its just enough to make me uncomfortable at the beach. :/
also a good workout plan.
i just found out we have a treadmill. haha, i didnt even know.
so how long do i go on it for.
should i run, jog, or walk on it? which works better?
also how many times a week should i go on it?
and some good workouts i could just do in my room or something would also be good.

well, mines kinda the opposite. i went to a private school, and switched to public schools, and i switched at like the end of the year, i was so scared, i wouldnt find any friends, but it turned out, i made a ton. it took me about a week. [im a tad shy too.] i have so many friends now, and it turned out great. it will probably be even easier for you to make friends in a private school, because, there may not be as many kids as public. don't worry about it, i didnt think i would make any friends, and i remember i posted like a million questions about switching schools, and everyone always said "it will be fine youll make friends." And i never believed it. but trust me. you will. just smile at people, and be polite. since your going there into 9th grade, which is highschool, that means, there will probably be a bunch of kids, from all over, going there, and just as nervous.

but, if you go to seventeen.com and then go to like where it says health, and then like BMI calculator, you type in your height in inches. and then it gives you your number, and then it has a chart, for ages, and like so you'd look at 14 and see if your average, or whatever.

or you could just type in BMI calculator, in the bar, and type in your height, and it will give you a number, but i like it at seventeens, because it like shows how you should be for your age.
