I just watched the news and one of the articles they had was talking about the latest "trend" in music.
They showed a clip from a new music video by Coldplay, then said "this is from the album that people are hoping breaks the trend in low sales of music this year. The next clip you will see is what is the current 'hot' thing in music."
And they showed that `Jamster!` Frog, with some music playing in the background.
After seeing that I wanted like nothing else to shatter one of the vinyl encapsulations of all that used to be good in the world and slice my wrists with it.
The `Jamster!` commercials hit comedy central awhile ago, and for about 3 weeks they bought enough advertising space on comedy central, where they could've instead spent that money buying canada. When I saw one of their commercials for the fourth or fifth time I said to myself "im going to have to be the one to kill these people"
And now I think I really am.
After seeing that I lost all my faith in humanity and the music to come.
First of all, who the hell would want to buy Canada?
The "hottest thing in music" is defined by what advertisements tell the masses. You could drag a really bad street performer out of NYC and advertise the hell out of his music, and people would listen; not because it's any good (ever heard of Wesley Willis?), but because it's what is "popular". According to ads, everyone else listens to it, why shouldn't I?
Every dumbass and their dog has a cell phone, so they went for that market. Advertise it enough, say it's the "#1 service in the USA", and plenty of morons will buy it. I never had any faith in humanity or current mainstream music. Because as I'm concerned, it's not mainstream because it's good, it's mainstream because the media TELLS you it's good.

I have a blushing problem. Whenever I think about blushing or see my crush, I start blushing. My friends are like "your face is always red!" It's become like a habit now. How can I stop blushing like this?
Well, you really can't stop if it's a reflex. You can try wearing makeup so no one can tell whether you're blushing or if you just put on makeup. Or perhaps, when you start to think of it, immediately start thinking of something that would never make you blush even if your life depended on it. Think of your dad laying in an armchair snoring loudly. Or a clown getting slapped in the face. (That's just funny.)
Really, this is something you'll just have to deal with. Most likely any boyfriends you have later on will find it cute.

Does anybody speak albainian as a first or second language? Is it a hard language to learn?
If not wat about Latin or French? I already no spanish and i want to get into a thrid languege.
None of those languages have any practical use in the US or England. (Especially not Latin. Unless you want to become a priest.) Spanish is a good second language to have. I think another good one would be Chinese. It's the most spoken language in the world; even moreso than English. Japanese isn't bad either, but it's a hard language to learn, plus most people in Japan can speak fluent English anyway. I think you're safe with English and Spanish. Unless you plan to go to other countries, you'll do fine here. Otherwise, try to learn the language of whatever country you'd like to visit.

Sometimes I feel like I'm being really rude to people, but I never know. When I say hello, it's kind of under my breath but I smile and I wave to whoever said hello to me. Sometimes someone will say hello when I'm out biking and I'm not sure if someone said hello to me or to someone else on the street, so I only turn and smile. I realized this at the supermarket when someone I didn't like too much said hi to me, and I said hi under my breath and gave a little wave. They moved by quickly, so it looked like I was waving over my shoulder. I want to seem less rude, but how? Am I even being rude?

I just got out of 9th grade and my mother still will barely let me do anything. She won't let me go to the beach unless there's an adult there. I can't go anywhere with anyone unless she meets their parents first. She flips out when guys call. I wouldn't care so much but a lot of times a miss out on doing fun stuff because no one elses parents chaperone, they just drop their kids off places, and then I'm not allowed to go. Forget parties, because there are no parents she can confirm with that i'll be safe and not drinking or doing drugs. Does she expect me to never do anything in highschool? Lying to her and sneaking around is a very bad idea. If you get caught, you'll only confirm her fears, and you can forget about ever getting to do anything. If you have a cell phone, she can simply call you to see where you are at any given time. (Believe me, I'm nearly 18 and my mom still does that ALL THE DAMN TIME.) If you don't, that's a reason you could give for her to get you one.
Short of that, you can point out any and every recent time you have shown responsibility and intelligence.

The only show I have had the privilege of seeing on Broadway was Phantom of the Opera. I saw it on a band trip to NYC my Freshman year. It was excellent. I don't know if it's even showing there right now, but if it is, I strongly suggest you go see it.

Where would I insert CSS for my advice column? I see alot of columns with it so I know it can be done but I'm not sure where. They aren't paid accounts but they still have it on there. I tried putting it in the "About Me" section since it says HTML is allowed but that's not working. Please only answer if you know. I will rate 5's to people who tell me.
You need a paid account to edit your column. A while ago you didn't need one to do it, as in my case. But that changed sometime after I edited mine, so now you have to pay, I believe.

man i'm new to halo and i suck, can anyone give me some tips to help me kill lol. like wat are some tips for close combat, and sniping.
As a self-procliamed god of sniping, allow my advice. First, for close combat, it's about reaction speed and your weapons. You need to be shooting them before they notice you're the enemy. As for weaponry, I like dual wielding two pistols. (And not those useless plasma ones either.) I can take out an enemy in under a second if I run up and go wild with those pistols. Also, never underestimate the power of melee attacks. (Especially from behind. Assassination!)
As for sniping, you need to be able to read how an enemy is going to move. If they are not aware of the fact you are aiming directly at them, they won't falter from their path usually. Lead their position a little and go for the headshot. And on that note, don't waste a shot by freaking out and shooting as soon as you see them. Take the little extra time to go for the headshot and end it. Once you fire and either miss or hit a limb or their torso, they'll know you're there and take evasive action. The second shot is never as easy to land. They don't need to know you're there until they are dead.
Also, position, position, position! A good sniper is one who is never seen until he fires. Don't give away your position, and don't shoot from the same place twice. Keep them guessing. Move elsewhere and shoot them in the back of the head as they go towards the spot you just shot them from 30 seconds ago.
My style of playing is like a ninja. I don't move out in the open, and I kill without being seen. My favorite weapon combination is the sniper rifle and the sword. I can instantly kill from far away, or close up. Assassinations are my forte.

Paint saves files as bitmaps (.bmp) which are rather large in filesize. If you convert it to .gif or .jpg, it should be small enough for Advicenators to host it. There are many picture file conversion programs out there for download. Just do a google search for a conversion program.

When I was 9 my mom threw me and brother out on the streets. He was 16 at the time and he took care of me. I'm 15 now and he's 23. Well I usually don't tlak about my past because I really don't think that it's that bad. At least I had my brother and that's more than some people have. Well the school found out about what was going on so I had to go to the school counsellor and talk to him and he told me that it would be a good idea to find someone that I can really trust at school to talk to if I have a problem. I really don't have a best friend I have friends but I never really got close enough to anyone where I was comfortable talking to them about important stuff. Well anyway I finally got up the courage to talk a girl that I've been friends with for a long time. At first she was really nice about it she said she would be there for me and that she understood and that it's ok to talk about things. Then I heard her say that I'm a lier and that I make things up for attention. I finally talked to someone and they did this to me. She told everyone that I pretend to do drugs and that I act all tough but I really don't. I've never said that I've done drugs or even tried them. I don't believe that they are the answer to anything.
My question is what can I do about this? Should I say something to her or pretend like nothing happened? And should I trust someone else or should I just keep things to myself like I did before? Thank you in advance and I will rate high.
If you were to deny any of this, it would seem to others as if you are trying to protect yourself because you really do those things. Although that is not the case, teenagers love drama and gossip, and will just make shit up. The best thing you can do is ignore it. If someone brings it up, laugh about it. It's really hard to make things up about someone who doesn't give a damn. They're doing it to get a rise out of you; if they can't, they'll stop.
It will die over very quickly. My advice to you, is to find someone else. Preferably someone who is not a bitch.

What is yuri and yaoi?
Yuri and yaoi are Japanese pictures/comics depicting relationships between the same sex. Yuri refers to women and yaoi refers to men. Often they are tame, showing only loving relationships. Others show sexual circumstances.
So, yaoi can either be two guys falling for each other or having nasty anal sex. More often than not it's the latter of the two. Guess that all depends where you look it up at.
