well i dont know about albanian, but i've heard that latin is good because a lot of words from spanish/french/english are based off of it and if you havnt taken the SATS it helps on it...spanish and french are also similar because they're both derived from latin and if you want to speak a language that is current and that you can use if you travel through europe or canada or something than id say to pick that one...hope i helped

While I don't know Albanian, I do know that French would be the easiest to learn after already knowing Spanish. Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese are all called the "Romance Languages" and are derived from Latin. (Though, they are much easier and more practical to learn than Latin, which isn't spoken anywhere at all in normal conversation unless you live in The Vatican). I'd suggest learning some of the languages listed above.

Of course, if you can find a place to learn Albanian, though, that'd be really cool. I've also always wanted to learn a bunch of languages, including Russian. If you decide to learn portuguese, drop me an Email. I'm learning it, too - and it's easier to learn if you have someone to practice with :)

Well, I don't think you're going to find many people on here who speak Albanian as a first or second language. Anyway, why do you want to learn it? It's not really useful over here in North America or over in Europe, or anywhere else in the world, for that matter, except Albania. *shrugs* Do what you want to, though.

If given a choice between learning Latin or French, I would definitely choose French. Latin is a DEAD language. You'd be better off learning Italian. Well, Spanish, Italian, and Latin are basically all tied together by origin. So, if you've already learned Spanish, Latin would be a breeze for you. Learn French, it's intriguing and mysterious. Even if those stupid French people aren't.

Have fun!

I know someone who speaks Albainian!!! It sounds WWWAAAYYYYY cuh-RRRazziieeee!!!!!!!! And yesssss.. I'd say it's haRd to leaRn!!!

NeveR tRied FRench, though I heaRd it was a piece of cake. I think FRench is a good choice.. because it can be useful in Cananda.. if you eveR feel the need to go. Also, Japanese would be excellent if you plan on doing something business-like. lol!!! Really... all the caRs nowadays.. Japanese... and if you eveR do anything involving stocks.. Japanese would be excellent!!!

Goodluck to you!! =D

I've never heard of Albainian. I know that Latin is difficult though. Personally, I like French. It's not hard at all and more interesting.

Albanian, I'm not so sure about. I do know that Latin is a very hard language to speak and understand. Two somewhat easy languages to learn would be, as you listed- French and Japanese. You could also learn Portuguese. It is very similar to Spanish, but many of the words are different. I would go with French if I were to be learning a third language. You must be very talented speaking 2 languages. Good luck.

None of those languages have any practical use in the US or England. (Especially not Latin. Unless you want to become a priest.) Spanish is a good second language to have. I think another good one would be Chinese. It's the most spoken language in the world; even moreso than English. Japanese isn't bad either, but it's a hard language to learn, plus most people in Japan can speak fluent English anyway. I think you're safe with English and Spanish. Unless you plan to go to other countries, you'll do fine here. Otherwise, try to learn the language of whatever country you'd like to visit.
