im a springer for OTHS, GO PANTHERS!!!, i sing in the chior, i plan to enter into the military when i get older and then into law enforcement. i play on a paintball team (Low Life Paintball) and i play airsoft with kids around town.

advice

whats with all the questions about 14 year olds smoking and drinking. its illegal no matter HOW they do it whether they get caught or not. am i totally out of my mind or are some people just asking too much of the columnists?

basically those kids only do it for attention. because mommy and daddy love something else more than them, probally alcohol. or maybe mommy and daddy arent there for them or show them any form of love. but your not out of your mind and yes it is illegal.

Ok I'm 13/F . I will be starting a competative swim team tomorrow morning and it will last all summer. I will have practices 1 hour for 3 days a week and a swim meet (competion) every Thursday for 3 hours. My question is, can I expect to lose a few unwanted inches on my stomach, thighs and legs with all this swimming? (Im hoping maybe 2 maybe 3 in on thighs, 1 or 2 on stomach an 1 or 2 on arms) I'll rate!! :) thanx!

to be honest, you might loose those inches, and they might stay, but as muscle. so you dont really know what is going to happen there, but atleast you getting exercise and time will tell if your legs and what not will get smaller or have more muscle definition or tone

im no doctor, but i did take a year of health class and from what ive seen and heard, inverted nipples arent anything to be worried about. i shouldnt affect you, and i do not believe it is a deformity.

this guy who is a grade above me asked me out, and i said no. the only problum is he still talks to me and flirts with me and smiles at me and crap, and i think hes gonna ask me out 'again'. not only that, but i like 2 of his close friends alot so i dont want to majorly affend him. i dont want to have him ask me out again. its imbarrising. could someone please help me i rate well!

just go up the guy and tell him you dont like him like that you just want to be his friend. tell him that you like his 2 closest friends. it may seem rude or mean to tell him, but its the only way to get across to guys. he might be shocked and not talk to you for a couple days, but he'll get over it and be your friend again

Me & my guyfriend are going to the movies. We've never hung out one-on-one out of school so this is a big deal since I like him. I'm not sure if it's going to be uncomfortable for us. ill be honest, sure it will be weird and awkward, but make the best of the situation. you got him with you, and only you, so talk to him, tell him how you feel right to him, i know it may be hard to do, but it is worth trying and telling him insted of holding it in and not telling him when as soon as you get over him, one of your friends is going to come and tell you that he actually had a thing for you and the you missed your chance. and then once you tell him, ask him how he feels and just questions.

just go up to the guy and start up a conversation, be real friendly and nice and sweet to the boy and he should open up pretty easily, and if not, kill him with even more kindness until he cracks and talks to ya. he is probally just shy

My name is stephanie, and I bhave beeen dating my boyfriend for a month now.But here's the twist! My BF(Chris)asked me to hsve sex with him after a band dance. I told him no, b/c I'm not ready to sexualy active just yet! Unexpectingly he said ok I'll respect that b/c I love. I figured that excuse would by me time, and it did! But now he wants more reasons as to why I can't have sex with him. But see what gets me is is that he's telling me he wants to have sex, but when I say no he's ok with what I decide, but he asks repeating , but never makes any kind of action leading to sex. Everytime I shave..down there..I get these little red bumps.What is a quick way to get rid of them? I rate high.

the best way would be to not shave down there. but if you have to, apply like a lotion down there or some type or like anti-biotic or something to make sure the area is clean. and re shave it almost every day to keep the irritaion from starting back up. or you may want to get checked for some type of STD (i dont know you or anything, dont know your sex life, but if you have one, go get checked, even if you did us a condom).

become active, make is so you do not have time to masterbate anymore. or you can do the old fasioned way of everytime you want to masterbate, hit yourself in the arm. that all i can say. or be in the public eye more.

Lucky me, I just happened to get my period a few days before I leave for the beach with my friend. It's Thursday and we leave on Sunday, and my period usually lasts for about 6-8 days. I've never used a tampon before. I asked my mom, but she was no help. She just said hopefully it'll be done by the time I leave. Any suggestions on what I should do?

sorry, but i would love to help, thats why im here, but im no girl. all i can say is ask a friend or a friends mom, or a female adult that you trust to help you with that.

okay, i have this problem.. adimting i need help. and after what happened last night, i really need to ask for help. so i was at the mall with 2 of my friends, my mom, and my sister. well my mom called the the B word, and i go w/e and walked off. then she came up and hit me with a rather heavey bag, and i just turned around and pushed her. i had NO idea what was going on. like .. i didnt relize what i did. and i was supposed to go to a party that night with those 2 friends. my mom took them home, and me back to my house and grounded me for the day. she also took away my cell phone, and she had taken away my AIM last weekend.
i dont know what to do with my self, i dont know what has gotten into me.. it just feels everything is happening. and i cant controll anything, also i suck at asking for help.

how do you know it is something in you? what is its something in someone you know (ex. your mom)? but if anyone came up and hit me with a heavy bag, i would have held them back and gotten mall security for her/him hitting me. even if it was my own mom, dad, best friend, sibbling, anyone, i would get security. but all i can say for you is that if it is a problem with you, you got to learn to get over it yourself, and maybe with the support of a friend, because friend's make all the differece, they can mean the difference between life and death. if the problem is inside you, sit down, get very relaxed, and think, think a hard think about what has changed, what has become differnt around you. this may help in finding your problem.

Well, I met this boy through a friend..and me and him went out. I was shallow and wouldnt stay with him..it was about 3 years ago. and then we stopped talking and then started talking again..he was having problems at home and moved in with my family (hes 17 now). just tell him your true feelings for him. just tell him he means alot to you and that you need him. and if you have to kidnap him (wouldnt suggest it thought, lol). but in all honesty just tell him how you feel over all about him and tell him how much he means to you and things like that

there is no way to stop from blushing. but im a guy, so i dont do it (as much, lol). but when a guy sees a girl blush we all think that its really cute so you should be happy that you blush. i know that when girls around me blush i start to get excited, because my girlfriend when she blushes, i fall even more in love with her, so hopefully your crush will notice and fall for you

Hi, im 15/f and ive never made out or been sexually active in any way whatsoever! Uhm the thing is that im scared to do anything that involved being sexually active because the hair down there(dont give me any hair removal method, il breakout in red bumps and i have no money to buy anything or get it waved) is really sparse and grows beyond my underwear, and my inner lips hang out noticebly longer than in outer lips. i think this might really freak a guy out because this is really ugly. ok, first off, why is your 11yr old cousin going out with a guy that is 14? that makes no sense. and secondly, wait for the other guy your waiting for. dont date the guy that date's the family.

I'm in track and I do the hurdles. And I made it to states ( i got 15.07)at the regular meet but when I practice i get like 17.00. And i have no clue why I don't do good at practice. Like a try and stuff like that but i dont know it's weird. Does anyone have advice to be better at hurdles or anything?

me also being on track and haveing also ran hurdels, i found out the same thing, its just when your at a meet, your body starts releasing adrenaline and you perform at the top of your game. for ex. i ran a 25.5 200m at practice. in a meet i ran a 24.9 and i found out it all has to do with you being all excited and hyped up. but to do better at hurdels, get your steps down in a rhythmic motion. take long strides and dont studder step.

i have 8 welts on my stomach from playen paintball its been 2 weeks and they still havnt gone away. how do i make them go away

dude, i know where your coming from, im also a paintball player. i have had one time up to 13 welts across my stomach and back. i got lit up in some speedball against some professionals, but i put up a fight. anyways, what i did was i just laid back and i know this sounds weird, but i put icey hot on them and that seemed to help. my team mates some times use like unsecented lotion and baby powder, and it works, dont know how but it does. this may sound all crazy and weird, but it works.

i baby sat this little boy a few months back and i met his brother at the same time one time we were out walking and he told me that his bro had wrote a suacide letter i didnt believe him.. but i've started hangin out with his brother whos my age, when i looked for a top in his drawer i found this note book i read the first line saw it was the letter, then he turned around and goes do u mind, so i put it back, but im really worried now i dont know whether to tell him i know, just be a friend and try to help him without telling him, maybe see if i can read the letter when he aint in his room some time i duno please help!

what i would do is i would tell the parents or some trust worthy adult, and then tell him that you know about the letter and that you want to help any way possible.
