i baby sat this little boy a few months back and i met his brother at the same time one time we were out walking and he told me that his bro had wrote a suacide letter i didnt believe him.. but i've started hangin out with his brother whos my age, when i looked for a top in his drawer i found this note book i read the first line saw it was the letter, then he turned around and goes do u mind, so i put it back, but im really worried now i dont know whether to tell him i know, just be a friend and try to help him without telling him, maybe see if i can read the letter when he aint in his room some time i duno please help!

what i would do is i would tell the parents or some trust worthy adult, and then tell him that you know about the letter and that you want to help any way possible.

first you should talk to him. im not sure if you want to tell someone because they might put him in a mental hospital and take away anything that you could kill yourself with like your shoe laces, i knew someone that went there because she cut.just talk to him and be a friend dont ask him a lot of questions and dont rush him into anything, like if he doesnt want to talk about it then dont.but if it gets worse tell someone immeditely(sp)

help him without telling him. once he see's that you care and you arent just feeling sorry for him, he might stop being so depressed. suicide is a big deal, and you need to help him through it, you could be his only chance...

NO i would most definatly NOT tell ANYONE unless you no for citain that you know !! What i would do is ask him this -- "can i change into a shirt in your room?" and if he says "sure" then lock the door or tell him to not come in because your changeing then look for it...in the draw,if its not there then please dont be looking every where for it. But then,if it IS the letter...you could either--
Say to him -- "I know what you wrote in a letter--and i just want you to no im always there for u and i hope you do the write thing"
or--
Your brother told me you wrote a suicide note a while back...i didnt no if he was lieing..but it kept bothering me so i have to no the truth,did you write a note like that?
dont make it seem like its all fun and games but not too emostional..are you his close friend? i think you should be his close friend befor you talk to him about it..because if your not he might just say "its none of your bissness"

I would tell someone. I would also tell the person that you notify about his suicide thoughts that you dont want him to find out that it was you who told on him. You could be right...You could be wrong. But it is better to be safe than sorry. I would try to read the rest of the letter, but I wouldnt tell him that you read it because he may get suspicious when he finds out someone knows his secret. I hope I helped to some level. sweetie idk what you or what he is going through but you should try to bring it up in a conversation but dont push it on him just tell him that alot of ppl love him and that you would be heartbroken if he does !
