Lucky me, I just happened to get my period a few days before I leave for the beach with my friend. It's Thursday and we leave on Sunday, and my period usually lasts for about 6-8 days. I've never used a tampon before. I asked my mom, but she was no help. She just said hopefully it'll be done by the time I leave. Any suggestions on what I should do?

thers no better time to start using tampons than now. you dont want to be sitting unconfortably on the beach watching your family and friends have fun while youre socking up the sun in shortts and a tank.

Tampons are way better than pads & they may seem scary but they really aren't. Inside each package there's directions on how to use them. I personally recomend Tampax Compact. They are tiny and easy to use. There is a clear diagram on the back. It may take a few tries but you'll get it and feel comfortable. Don't give up & follow the diagram. If you're relaxed & do exactly as it says, you shouldn't have a problem. Good luck!

I'm really not so great at it myself. But, there are really detailed instructions on a sheet of paper inside the box. It tells you everything. Look at the directions and all diagrams carefully and remember RELAX!
