whats with all the questions about 14 year olds smoking and drinking. its illegal no matter HOW they do it whether they get caught or not. am i totally out of my mind or are some people just asking too much of the columnists?
xXxpinky615xXx answered Tuesday June 7 2005, 12:26 pm: Well, drinking yes, that is illegal because they are underaged. But smoking is not illegal as long as they didn't buy it. Ciggarettes is legal for them to smoke but pot is illegal completely. I think its retarded that there are so many young people wasting their lives away with smoking and drinking. Screw that shit. Why can't you just go out and have good clean fun? I agree with you 100% though. [ xXxpinky615xXx's advice column | Ask xXxpinky615xXx A Question ]

poa answered Monday June 6 2005, 10:24 pm: I've been a member since last night, but from my readings this site looks like a nexus for children to show off on the internet. I'd guess that 50% of the kids that are talking about smoking and or drinking on this site are lying to try to get internet tough guy points. I've experimented a bit myself and I am quite intregued with drugs, but even moreso the psychology of the person on drugs. Maybe thats why im on this site in the first place, I have no clue. Theres just something about teenagers and the ways they make decisions that troubles me and I sit here and read away at these kids questions just to try and gain perspective. People that give them advice as to how not to get caught aren't by any means doing them favors. Its a risk that comes with the territory and honestly if you can't handle that you shouldn't be involved with it in the first place. Drug use is up quite a bit, and all these people "fighting the war on drugs" aren't doing a damn thing. The people that make the laws put so many of these things out there as social taboos and it makes it alluring to children and other people just trying to defy for attention. If they legalized more things I think it would not only shatter a lot of the market but it would also lose that allure. And when its been suggested the idea has just been cast aside as another morons attempt at trying to get cheap pot.
TheTeenGirl answered Monday June 6 2005, 10:01 pm: I know it. You aren't out of your mind. Any columnist who gives them tips for not getting caught are low-lives. I answer to them why they shouldn't even be doing it in the first place. Those questions should be deleted, I don't know what the moderators are thinking. Anyway, no columnist should be helping them.
