LostSoulLouis answered Sunday March 4 2007, 4:52 pm:
Yuri and Yaoi are sub-genres of japanese manga/anime.
Yaoi focuses on homosexual relationships between male characters and is generally sexually explicit.Yuri is the same thing, just focusing on female characters.

Really hope this was of any use!

Blessed be

K3587 answered Thursday May 19 2005, 12:40 am:
Yuri and yaoi are Japanese pictures/comics depicting relationships between the same sex. Yuri refers to women and yaoi refers to men. Often they are tame, showing only loving relationships. Others show sexual circumstances.

So, yaoi can either be two guys falling for each other or having nasty anal sex. More often than not it's the latter of the two. Guess that all depends where you look it up at.
