hailebop answered Tuesday May 31 2005, 4:40 pm: I actually turned 17 before I had my first proper kiss, and I have gone on to have a happy and fulfilling romantic life.
I went to an all girls high school and didn't know any boys when I was a younger teenager, so I know it's hard to feel that you're alone and everyone else has boyfriends except you, but I can honestly say that things happen when you least expect them to. I had half given up when I met the right guy, but it was worth the wait, as it's nicer if your first kiss is something that's meaningful with a guy you might actually go somewhere with. It's hard feeling left out, but it's better to share the moment with the right guy later than just kiss any boy so you can feel that you've caught up with your friends.
