I saw you gave a reply to someone about a workout regimen. I'm looking to bulk up a little bit, however not to gain a body building shape. However I would like muscle to become apparent. Is there any advice you could give me?
I'm 5'4, 115lbs. I'm looking to tone my legs, my butt, my stomach, and my abdominals. Basically, it all needs work!

Ok, to tone the key is less weight and faster and more reps. To build bulk, more weight and fewer reps. You should always stretch before and after your work out and don't "bounce" in the stretch. You should also drink plenty of water or better yet Gatorade. Your counts should be something like 1,2,3,4 etc... when doing reps.
I'd start off with 30 reps and if you can't do thirty at one time mark down where you got to and build up to thirty by adding two more reps each week or whatever you feel comfortable with. However, if you can do more than 30, do it. Do as many as you can to see where you are at and then go from there by adding more each week.
You want to workout you legs, arms, abs, and gluts. I say arms too because you'd look pretty funny with toned abs and legs with skinny arms LOL. Here's what I'd do if I were you. First off, I'm in no way a professional trainer and what I know is based on my own workouts and what I've learned through trial and error and licensed trainers. You should also check with your doctor because you never know if you might have some sort of condition that would show it's self during exercise.
You may have to add a pound or two if the weight seems extremely easy to lift. Resistance is the key!
Few things you'll need.
A straight bar and
an assortment of free weights and barbells. (of course this is optional but would be 100 times better)
Do these in sets for a set time limit of ten minutes. Hope you've done your stretching first! You really should Google these to see how they are properly done.
1. Arm curls. Use a bar to do both arms at a time. Do 30 of these.
2. Squats no weight to start off. 30 reps. If you feel you can, also use weight by holding the bar close to your chest. (works the calves, the inner thigh and the gluts)
3. Flutter kicks. Do as many of these you can do. (works the lower abs and gluts.)
4. Crunches. At least 30, do what you can. (works the abs without a lot of back strain)
5. Continue this until you've reached 10 minutes. Do this three times a week and stagger the days. Increase the time by five minutes every other week until you've reached a goal of 30 minute workouts.
6. Finish your workout by stretching out and drinking fluids.
You can also Google to see more ways to tone your body and get fit but this should at least get you started.

Does anyone know the remedy that's in the book "Stop Sweating and Start Living"? I can't afford the book and my parents won't buy it for me. So does anyone know what the remedy is that has helped many people?

Speaking from experience, I deal with this too. I used to think it was because I'm half Navajo Indian and I was meant to live in Arizona on the reservation. (crazy thinking, yes I know LOL) and my father had to take salt pills, so I'm pretty sure it's inherited. I feel sorry for you that your folks don't understand but it's embarrassing to say the least.
To cope I wear dark colors and use antiperspirant on other parts of my body besides my underarms. I've asked my doctor before and all he does is shrug his shoulders. I'll Google the book and see if I can't find an answer for us.

it's set in 2020 but something happened and all technology went bust. so basically the doctor is a real one she just has to make do with what's at hand. she'll have a first aid kit with her so that might help...

By no means am I a doctor but for giggles let's say she's studied what doctors in the past would have done back in the 1800s.
In her first aid kit she should have bandages, some pain reliever such as Tylenol and some rubbing alcohol and some latex gloves. She'd be thinking not only about getting the patient stabilized but treating his wound. She'd start by accessing the damage. Is it bleeding profusely? If so she'd apply pressure and if need be she'd cut up a shirt or pants, something to make a tourniquet to place above the wound and at the artery to stop the bleeding.
She woudn't remove the object at first until she was certain no further injury would happen but at the same time she'd be concerned about infection so she'd search for a natural anti-biotic such as Colloidal silver.

All she has to obtain this is a silver necklace and a watch. She opens the watch to get the battery and uses the water she found running in the creek. Um, what are they "talking" about? Where were you at? I'm a dude and sometimes in the past I would go have a few beers with my guy friends at the bar. If we happened to spot a chick that was cute we'd go up and try to talk to her. We'd make a bet to see who she find more interesting. So this maybe the case here too.

i'm writing a book and one character gets stabbed in the upper leg. it needs to be a pretty bad wound cause another character is a doctor and fixes it.
problem 1 - the book is set in a time where there are no hospitals. so this has to be done in a forest where they are camping.
problem 2 - i have no idea what the process would be for something like that. is it possible that anyone could talk me through it? like what has to be done to fix it and what excersises and stuff need to be done to make sure it heals properly?

i have a gateway flatscreen computer and when i first bought it it would go into hybernation mode and id just have to like hit something and i'td turn back on or whatever. and i fixed it, but i forgot how. and now its doing it again. any idea how to make it stop hybernating or sleeping..or whatever its doing?
In Windows XP right click on the Desktop, (any where there's not an icon) go to "properties" then click the screen saver tab, in the box go all the way down to the right (above the apply button) and click "power" in there you'll see a few options to disable hibernation, turn off monitor etc...

Could be true, hell I've meet some famous people but that doesn't mean I'm any one special at all. Nor is she. They all put their pants on the same way. I want to do one of those fasts that detox your body, like a fruit fast or water fast. They're only like 2 days long, but my mom would never go for that, since she doesn't really understand the whole detox thing. What are some good ways to naturally detox and feel the difference? Like without buying books or drinks or anything.
Speaking from personal experience, when I was in the military I got on this health crazy, since I was in the best shape of my life, running 5 miles a day, doing 1000 crunches in one setting, bench pressing 375, etc... I found that if I ate fruits such as oranges and bananas, I felt energized and strong. I also ate whole grain wheat breads and lean ground beef (for the protein my muscles needed). Your best bet if you want to cleanse your body is with water and electrolytes, such as what's in Gatorade. Only BAD thing is it does contain sugar. If you want a true natural source, I'd stick with bananas and oranges like I did. Your best bet is to exercise too because you might feel tired if not.

i can easily say i love my boyfriend. i am 18, a senior at my school and when i say this i mean it, i am a hell of alot more mature than anyone at my school. i have gone through alot and dont hangout with one person there. it sucks but ive learned to live with it. its not that im a bitch or ugly, i am just dont good with those people. so anyway, my boyfriend is 24 and lived in boston and went to school there(i lived 15 mins north) we dated this whole summer until he had to move back home an hour away in september. ever since then, things have been great and we hangout weekends and i cannot complain. i usually am not a relationship person nor have i ever gotten attatched, but me and my man are in love. i am so happy, its like hes the only one. he is graduating in may from school and will be a physical therapist and has been talking about moving to cali or florida this summer. he wants me to come but i am nervous i wont like it

I personally think if you love the guy then it really doesn't matter where you live. Pardon my French, but there's assholes everywhere you go. I think the key is, if you really love the guy. If you do, then going some place foreign wont matter much. Talk to him and voice your concerns but you got to understand he has gone through a lot to accomplish his goals in life and wants you to be there in the middle, in his life. It can be about anything besides sports and famous people. I'd rather not write about any wars or things in the past but something that would interest my teacher when reading. Some kids are doing the invention on ice cream or air planes so anything fun but that I would enjoy writing about. Im 16/f if it matters lol.
