I'm Christina, and I'm 27. I tend to be brutally honest when I give advice or an opinion. I don't tell people what they want to hear but rather what they need to hear. They don't always appreciate it at first, but I usually get a thank you in the end.

This morning as I was scrolling through recently asked questions and I came across one where a 13 year old girl was asking how the War in Iraq started. Interested, I looked at people's answers. And then I came across the most disgusting thing I've ever seen.
In your answer you called our President an "idiot", and when referring to him you said "[ew]". I respect that you have your own opinions and points of view, whatever, but just because this country has freedom of speech does not mean that you should go around calling the most powerful person in the world an idiot. If you want to publicize your opinions about him, fine, put it respectfully. But this man has sacraficed a ton to be in the position he is in today. How many people do you know that are willing to be President of the United States? It's easily the most stressful job in our country. I have no problem with you disagreeing with his decisions, but PUT IT RESPECTFULLY! He has supreme power, and he was elected. We put him into this position, and therefore he has the right to make his own decisions. Clearly you didn't vote for him, but a great amount of people did. He has the right to make his own educated decisions, and whether you disagree with them or not, you shouldn't go making judgements about him. He did what he thought was the best thing for our country, and you need to respect that.
I'm not just saying this because I'm politically concervative. And believe me, I'm not Bush's biggest fan. But when someone is elected for a job in which they have the power to make enormous decisions, for what (in their opinion) is the best thing to do for our country, you need to respect it. Next time someone who isn't familiar with the current state of our country, explain the situation without changing it and throwing your own judgemental opinions into it.

If I have an opinion & you don't like it, then that's too bad. I'm going to voice what I think whether ANYONE likes it or not & I personally do not care what you think about me. I'm going to say what's on my mind and if it's offends you, too bad.

Ask him how he feels about you, or ask him who he likes. If he doesn't want to tell you who he likes, it's either you that he likes, or he's embarassed because the girl he likes may not be all that pretty.

Seriously though, he's the only one who can give a straight answer about how he feels about you, so he's the one you should be asking.

If he doesn't like you back, however, don't be disappointed. It'll hurt, but he's just a guy & guys are NOT important. There's plenty of other guys out there anyways, so don't worry about it if he doesn't like. Someone does, you just need to keep looking.

Well I'm 15/f and I was wondering...do most guys in highschool look for girls that are really hot and have a good body? Cuz I mean I've had boyfriends, but nothing serious...a lot of guys and girls think I'm pretty but I don't have that "amazing body". I've been told I'm really sweet and I do have lots of guy friends who are considered "hot". But i don't know, I don't see myself as a hot girl whose girlfriend material. Guys are all different [although they act/think the same sometimes]. Every guy likes something different, they don't all go for the same thing.

Some guys prefer a girl with personality & looks will only be a plus to him. Other guys are the opposite. They go for looks & a good personality is just a side dish plus for them.

It all depends on the guy. I assure you though, they're not all the same. Not all guys are dumb, & shallow. If you wait around, the right guy will come to you.

Your friend is smart, you should listen to him. Friends can usually see the flaws in someone that you cannot & when you don't listen to your friends, you usually end up getting hurt.

Friends with benefits is also a horrible idea. It just doesn't work. Someone falls for someone but the other person doesn't fall back & someone gets hurt. It sucks a lot. But if your friend is warning you about this guy, you should listen to him. See what he has to say & consider it before you do anything.

like the war in iraq and stuff. i dont get it.. did it start when 9/11 started? and no dont tell me to research because i dont get what the journalists say and stuff.. im only 13 so put it in a way i'd understand, please. like basically how did the war start, what happened during the war and why hasnt it ended yet and stuff?

When 9/11 happened, President Bush [ew] went to Afghanistan & basically ruined them. Then he was "positive" that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction so he invaded them & eventually took down their leader.

Some people are saying that this is about oil, and not terrorism anymore, but they could be wrong. I honestly think the president is an idiot & his intentions were no good. Instead of doing what's right for his country, he's trying to be SuperMan & save others. That may sound selfish, but it's true. Yes, other countries have lots of problems, but what about ours? You can't just help someone else and not yourself.

The war hasn't ended yet because Iraq doesn't have a steady government & President Bush fears that if we leave, it'll go back to exactly how it used to be. And we're still looking for Osama Bin Laden, so until we find him & get Iraq a good, steady government, then this war won't be over for a while. I hope that clears everything up!
