Question Posted Sunday June 24 2007, 5:56 am

my boyfriend and I were having sex the other night and he went soft. Why did this happen, is it because of me? Or because he was drunk or what?

Drinking can do some weird things to mens hormones. Some men become very horney while others not so much. He probably got really into the moment then forgot what he was doing. Its not you at all, just think about a males attention spand and then think about his attention spand plus drinking...lol :-D

I wouldnt worry a bit!!!

It's not because of you. He probably just lost his horny feelings or something.

Ask him about it. I'm sure it's not because of you though. He's the only one that can give you a clear reason.

I doubt it's because of you. I wouldn't worry too much about it if he was drunk. If my boyfriend is too drunk he won't be able to have sex. So don't worry about it until it happens multiple times when he's sober. Oh and don't make a big deal to him about it, it'll make him sad :(. Just pretend like it never happened.

These things just happen. Being drunk might have contributed, or it might not have, but it wasn't your fault. I suspect, in fact, he feels bad because he's worried you WILL think it's your fault when it's not.

He can't really control what his body decides. Try not to worry about it too much.
