Yes I have gone from complete dislike of myself to loving my life a lot!
The reason is mostly because of God.. now you might not be religious.. but God can help you with all of your problems... I started praying more than I did before.. and soon everything got better... He gave me new friends that cared about me! So if you aren't religious.. just try to find new friends that will listen to you and care for you
Also.. since I asked my girlfriend out- I've been happier than ever! God really gave me a gift!

Good question
No.. you can't get AIDS from kissing someone.. but you can get AIDS or HIV from someone if you have sex with them...
If you're kissing someone with AIDS- don't worry about catching it that way!

I'm wondering how much eye contacts are for colored and clear because I'm thinking of buying them. What brand do you suggest? I would like them to be affordable and comfortable to wear, please. If you discourage me from getting contacts, please do so.

I myself have contacts.. and they are GREAT!
The brand I have is Acuvue2.. and they are just fantastic..
I believe they run cheap.. but still contacts are going to be somewhat expensive..
I strongly encourage getting contacts.. they are much better than glasses..
Although they do take some getting used to.. but that only takes about a week or so to get the hang of it..
Also- Acuvue2 are very comfortable.. in fact.. you can't even feel them!

I have this friend and we have been friends since we were 4 years old. We are now both 13. Well, last year was our first year at middle school. We both met a lot of new people and I made some new friends and she made some new friends. Well last year, we dicided that we didn't want to be best friends anymore and to just be friends. We still were talking, hanging out and spending the night at each others houses so it was kinda like we were still best friends. Well this year in 8th grade we kinda faded away. We never talk and if we do its like, 1 little sentance. Well at the end of this summer (summer 2006), my mom, dad and I took her on a little trip for 3 days. I could invite anyone I wanted and I chose her because I thought we were still friends and thought it would be fun. Well, like I said earlier, we just started 8th grade this year and she now treats me like crap. She never talks to me, always ignores me and thinks she is all that and only she and her *new* best friend are the only important ones. HELP!!! I really don't know what to do. I've tried talking to her and she just makes rude coments. What I also forgot to say was that she gets mad over the STUPIDEST things. I really am not sure what to do. Should I just ignore her or be mean back? Thanks everyone!

No, you should not be mean back to her.. it will only come back to bite you in the butt...

Either you should just ignore your "friend" or you could try to sit down and talk to her..

Tell her that you don't appreciate what she is doing to you.. and you just want it to be the way it was before.. you two being best friends..
If she is mean and rude to you while you are talking.. then she probably isn't worth trying to remain friends with..

Some people are better hands-on learners and some are better visual learners

Bitter sarcasm is basically where someone is really sarcastic.. (which isn't always a bad thing).. but says sarcastic things in a very mean and hurtful way

And if someone is calling you bitterly sarcastic.. don't worry about them...

I just got back from Lake Tahoe. My skin was pretty nice until I got there. The sun burned up my face. and now my entire face is peeling and red. my skin looks horrible. School begins on September 5, will the peeling/redness go away by then? or what can I do to make it go away??

The best solution to peeling skin from sunburn is using Aloe Vera.. which you can find at most pharmacies.. Just rub it on your sunburned area and it will heal in no time!

ummmm yea how do u know if u have ADD without going to a doctor?????? cause people have told me i may have ADD but i dont know yet

You might have ADD if you find yourself unable to pay attention to something for a long period of time.. even a short amount of time..

What you need to do.. and what I strongly suggest.. is to go see your doctor.. and tell him you think you have ADD.. then.. he can give you proper tests or whatever.. and give you a diagnosis if you have ADD

i have this ENORMAS pimple that is growing on my chin. it is taking up my whole chin, literally. i'm not exaggerating here. the only problem is that the acne cream i use isn't working. i put 10% benzoyl peroxide on it last night and this morning it is just a HUGE bump. it is still underneath my skin, so there really isn't anything i can do. i'm afraid that it will be there for school (which is in exactly one week), what can i do to make it go away before it comes out?

I know this sounds odd- but, have you ever tried Lemon Juice?
Yes- lemon juice does work with getting rid of pimples.. and it works fast, too

All you have to do is get a cotton swab, dab some lemon juice on it.. and lightly apply to your face (primarily in acne areas)..
Don't touch your pimples with the lemon juice on.. or it won't work..
Leave the lemon juice on- don't wash it off

Hi! I read the answer to another girls question about getting 3 big zits. and you said to put lemon juice on the infected area. Well i have one huge zit on my chin, that hasn't come out yet. does that make sense? what i mean is that it is still underneath the skin but you can tell that it is there because it is just a huge red bump. so i have a few questions:

1)will lemon juice work for this kind of zit?
2)if yes, will it make the zit come out more? or just make it shrink back down and go away?
3)when i put on the lemon juice how long do i leave it on for?

First off- Thanks for posting in my inbox! I really appreciate it!

Now to your questions..

I'm not to sure what kind of zit you are talking about.. but.. try to let the zit develop before you try anything with lemon juice.. because I'm not sure if it will damage your skin or not (I'm not saying that lemon juice damages your skin.. I'm just not completely sure what it will do on this type of "zit")
Once you let the zit develop (without touching it in the process of development)... take the lemon juice, just like I said, and apply it...
You don't wash it off.. just leave it on.. but don't apply a whole lot.. just a dab or two on the zit (for each zit you have.. or if you have an area or zits.. about 3 or 4 dabs of lemon juice will work)

Stores cannot have cameras in changing rooms.. that would be an invasion of privacy to people who are completely innocent..

Its a federal law that stores can't have any type of surveillance in changing rooms

My guess is that you are just a normal teenage guy with normal hormones..
You're just curious.. and most likely not gay or bisexual..
In a few years.. your hormones will straighten out and you'll realize that you weren't gay.. you're straight...

my boyfriend nd I had sex with a condom on june 22nd while I had my period (it was my first time having sex) then I got my period again when I was visiting brazil around july 25. we tried to have sex again last week with a condom but I asked him to stop because it hurt.. last night we had sex again with a condom and we went all the way. this morning I noticed that my period is a few days late. is there any way that I could be pregnant? or what's wrong? oo yea.. nd I am 16 nd imy period has been pretty regular for about 2 years now.

There is always the chance that you are pregnant.. but because you had your period, though it was a few days late, I'd say that you most likely aren't pregnant...

Cousins tend to have issues like this.. ignoring each other when the other experiences something that the other has or hasn't experienced..
If your cousin is already in Junior High.. then she probably is ignoring you because she (or he.. sorry I'm just assuming it's a girl) feels that you are bragging or acting like you know all about junior high.. This is completely normal.. and the only way to fix her ignoring of you is to talk to her and tell her that you don't understand why she is ignoring you...
If your cousin isn't already in junior high.. then she is most likely jealous of you because you are older and get to experience it first..
Again, this is completely normal and it's no surprise that she would feel this way..
Again (sorry I kinda said that twice), you need to talk to her and ask her why she is ignoring you.. and if she is jealous of you.. make sure to tell her that she'll be in junior high soon enough..

I searched keywords for zit remedies, and it gave me some good ideas (so sorry for spamming). But I'm fifteen, and I've never really had that many zits. I mean, I've had occassional ones, but i have two big ones on my chin, and one coming in between my eyebrows, and I start school on Thursday (yeah, I'm lame. So?) and I want them (or at least the bigger ones) to go awayyy. I know they can't go away completely, but I at least when the redness to go away. I've read about ice and such, I tried toothpaste on it, and stuff. I'm probably irratating it. But what about the redness? Helppp. Thank you.

I have the same problem with zits.. I get a couple big ones.. and it's gross.. so I know how you feel...
A simple and VERY cheap method is to use Lemon Juice.. now I know that sounds odd- and yes it is.. but it honestly works.. and very quickly at that...
Now.. to apply the Lemon Juice.. just get a cotton swab and dab some of the juice onto it.. then apply (in a circular motion) to the infected area(s) [in othr words.. the place where the zits are]
Don't touch your zits while the juice is on.. because it will stop the chemicals from working.. and your zits will still be there..
Also- even if you don't have any lemon juice on your face.. try not to touch zits or your face, because your fingers have oils that irritate the skin and creat new zits..

First, go to Account Settings right next to your default picture when you login..
Then underneath where it says 'NOTE', you will find buttons that say [view my profile], [edit my profile], [cancel account].
...click on [cancel account]
& follow the directions from there!

An email will be sent to you asking to confirm your deletion..

Theres this guy i like ALOT! we hang out alot. my freinds asked him if he liked me and all he said was" why do you want to no?" and alot of people said i should tell him i like him, but i dont know what to do? should i or shouldnt i?he is really shy to. ok so i was hanging out with some friends (girls).. and some of our guy friends were outside, so we went out there to meet them. we had just come in from the pool and we had our bathing suits on, with like towels around our bottoms. and this one guy said to me "is that a new bra- i mean bikini?"

is that an insult? or like what was he trying to say?..

I'm sure this isn't an insult..
He probably made an honest mistake by saying "bra" instead of "bikini"..
He was probably really nervous when he was talking to you.. most guys get that way when they talk to girls
