what really is journalism? can somebody explain to me what journalism really is?? my friend said she wants to go into that when she grows up and i've never known what it meant to go into journalism.

that means like reporting for a television station or writing for a newspaper. basically like, covering news and stuff in various ways. there are different types of journalism, from like the news on cnn or nbc to simply school yearbooks that cover things that happen. if a student takes a journalism class in high school, they would be writing for the high school newspaper. so your friend probably wants to be a news reporter or write for a newspaper or something. ]
