hannahd answered Tuesday August 29 2006, 10:47 pm: Basically, it involves writing. It can branch off into a number of areas involving jobs in the magazine, news, & newspaper industry. [ hannahd's advice column | Ask hannahd A Question ]

Journalism is like news-media..
Some sample careers in Journalism are:
News Anchor
Investigative Reporter
Newspaper Reporter
and basically anything involved in NewsStations, Newspapers, and Magazines
uisforukelele answered Tuesday August 29 2006, 10:39 pm: that means like reporting for a television station or writing for a newspaper. basically like, covering news and stuff in various ways. there are different types of journalism, from like the news on cnn or nbc to simply school yearbooks that cover things that happen. if a student takes a journalism class in high school, they would be writing for the high school newspaper. so your friend probably wants to be a news reporter or write for a newspaper or something.
